Why is text not showing

I have been creating the same template brochure without any issues. However, today, something has happened with my layers and I can't figure why. Using the same template, I am replacing one background image with another and arranging it at the back (which I do for each brohure). However, as soon as I do this, the boxes above, containing text, show no text and just the little red cross. When I pull the b/g image out to the side, I see the text sliding back as I pull and the red cross disappears. There is no text-wrap runaround, and these boxes are arranged to the front. Tearing my hair out... TIA

Select the Text Box , Go to Object --> Text frame options and Check the options "Ignore text wrap"
Else , select the image and remove the text wrap applied to it.

The response above is only a speculative answer to the original question. DSI-Hal, did you try to flatten the text in Bluebeam Revu prior to opening it in Adobe. This has worked for me on several different documents but not sure if we are using the same version of Adobe Reader.

it's meant to work like that
so if you receive a message on your iphone you also get it on your ipad or ipod touch
to avoid it use separate appleID for each device
or turn off imessage on 1 or both devices in their settings
but that will not fix the issue that 2 devices using the same appleID will never be able to facetime eachother
the appleID is a unique handle for 1 user only

if you receive an imessage not on any internet connection you will receive it as a sms (green) and yes it counts toward your texting plan

You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well.

i just purchased a file that had videos in it. i put them in the itunes library on my pc where i first downloaded them. i was able to transfer them to my other pc, a laptop, through my home network. i am now trying to get them on my mac pro desktop and my ipad2. my mac pro can see the other computers on my home network but i cannot get it to connect to them. i know the operating systems are different but was hoping i could transfer pictures and files from pc to mac this way. haven't been able to get it to work yet. the videos i am trying to get my mac to see came in a folder with both mac and pc versions. i thought if i got the videos i purchased into itunes that i would then be able to get them to my mac pro and my ipad2. i am new to mac/apple and have always been pc-centric so trying to marry it all has been difficult. i speak pc pretty well but am just learning apple. am i trying to do things that are not possible? i sure could use a knowledgable friendly soul to walk me through my issues of having pc and mac on the same network. i have been able to get all computers and ipad to print on my network. thanks.

I'm new to this stuff so I may sound stupid here. I'm looking for an artist in my list of artist on the IPod itself, and it's not showing. However, if I look under the songs list, the songs that I'm looking for are there. So, why is it not showing the artist in the artist list, but it shows the songs with the correct artist name in the songs list. It also shows the albums by this artist. Any ideas?

Is it a song on a compilation CD you burned? That might be the case.
If it's an artist album, you probably need to make sure that Artist and Album Artist have the same information.
Song: Mercy
Album Artist: Duffy
Artist: Duffy
Would be an example.

I am replying to my post with the hopes that someone can please help me!
I am adding new episodes, but they don't show up on the main page. The most recent one to show up is from 10/29/07. I added a new episode today, but it doesn't appear on the main page (before you subscribe). Is there a limit to the # of podcasts that can appear on the main page? Has anyone else had this problem? All the relevant info is above.

Ralph9430 offers a good suggestion. But you may need to do this before taking his advice:
Check in iPhoto's Preferences (which you can open from the iPhoto menu). Look in General, and make sure "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to "Image Capture").
If it is set to "iPhoto", you won't be able to get to Image Capture easily.

Why does is not show the radio buttons

I want to display the buttons in a row then radio button in a row under the button and then log scroll pane under the radio buttons. This is my code:

This is my problem. We have a big system that produce lots of log files and the software testers have to manually have to go through the logs file and look for a certain XML tags in the log file.
What I want to do is help the software testers my developing a small tool that will allow them to open a log file and then click on a radio button corresponding to a xml tags that they are looking for and automatically highlight the tags in the file in yellow color .
I am not sure how feasible this is and I am stuck.
This is what I have done so far.

IWeb 08 : Album pages and Text not showing up anymore

Hey guys,
I work for a local television company and created a page for one of our shows. I have been publishing the website with no problems and then all of a sudden recently my albums pages are not showing the albums or pictures. Click here..

The pictures are on that page when I am editing in iWeb, but not when I publish or a folder or upload it to my website. Does anyone know why this would be or are having similar problems?
Also, the text on one of my pages is all out of line when I publish, but perfectly correct on my page. This page is also not showing the album I have posted. Click here...

I switched in the middle of making this website from iWeb 06 to iWeb 08, but I didn't have these problems at first, so I don't think it was the upgrade.
I did do some things with the domain (copy, save to an outside hard drive, to try to transfer it to another computer) and the problems did start shortly after that. But I didn't really mess with the domain file on my computer, so it shouldn't have created a problem.
Please fill me in ASAP if you have any insight because my boss is just as frustrated as I am!

Hi Laura,
I get a "The page can not be found" message clicking on both links.
You might try to republish/re-upload the whole page
A. If publishing to .mac go to File=>Publish All. Or try to publish to a folder and open it from there to see if it works.
B. If publishing to a folder: do they work when opening from the folder? If so reupload everything.

Text not showing on exported Excel docuemnts

I have several Excel documents that I export to PDF using the Adobe printer, Part of my Adobe Acrobat Pro XI install.
When I do the export to PDF I open up the PDF and see that the entire document is there, unfortunately when I try to print the document from the new PDF certain text does not show up.
I'm confused why it shows up on the screen but not the print out... different text also seems to appear and not appear depending on the printer its printed on.

I noticed that the sample apps from the book Professional Flash Mobile Development: Creating Android and iPhone Applications aren't showing their text when I install their ipa's either.
So you can make text appear in your apps when creating a textfiled in the IDE? What font are you using?

Text not showing in PDF created for print

After exporting an illustrator document I tred to make a high quality PDF for print but the text does not show in the PDF file.

Impossible to know. You have not provided any info about your document, what font you used, what appearances on the text, what PDF settings, what system or even what version of AI plus how you review the document. From the font simply not being allowed to be embedded to specific appearances not rendering correctly to unsuitable PDF settings there could be anything at work here. You need to be much more specific.
