Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap his ID and sign out. Sign in with your ID. If you are in iOS 6 it is Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID.

I ran into the same problem, I think that, If you tab on a song that is on your IPOD, and the song data is grayed-out, I think it means that the song is probably twice on your IPOD and that the iTunes directory can not edit THAT song data for two (or more) files @once. Check if this is the case, sinceI have the same problem,am looking for a way to have One and the same song in more playlists but only keep the song once on the IPOD.

When I watch tv shows in Front Row that I've bought off iTunes the audio gradually falls out of sync with the video. It does not happen with other files that I have converted into mp4s. Any ideas for fixing this? It's a huge bummer...
I too have the same problem. The audio drop out of sync in about 5 sec in not uncommon for the audio to be 30+ sec behind video. Apple needs to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a joke, my iphone is all messed up after the last update as well. at one time not to long ago apple products and software were top rated, not so much any more, more and more problems are showing up and apple is unwilling or unalbe to fix the many issues. Apple needs to fix the audio sync problem, it not the computer hardware or other software it ITUNES!!!!, there is no workaround other then hitting pause and hitting pause and hitting pause to temp fix the problem.

my iphone 5 is problem facing like that. when i switch off my iphone5 then plugh for charge with data cable or charger adapder or only data cable with no power connect phone is starting why? means on my phone Why? any one can explane this matter please. switched off my phone but on without power button . what is the problem?

Just noticed that when I close my mail app by double clicking the home button and swiping up it dies something weird. After doing this when I open my mail, instead of showing all my mailboxes it automatically opens one of them instead. Anyone know why?
Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Phone is not recognizing music that wasn't bought off iTunes
My iPhone 6 128 GB will not recognize any songs that were not bought off iTunes, such as mixtapes, and it's starting to really frustrate me. Can somebody tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks!

No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

Why is that when I am composing a new message do I end up with multiple versions of my message I am composing up in my Google Trash mailbox? How can I stop this from happening?
It was very hard to see what the box says because the message displays for less than one second. However, I was able to record it with my iphone and pause it until I got a shot of the message. The box says the following:
"Do you want the application “java” to accept incoming network connections?
Clicking deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security preferences."
I did make some changes. I will see if it works.

What version of iTunes are you currently running? To check, in iTunes go "Help > About iTunes" and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom of the screen. For example, I see:

I just encountered this problem for the first time and stumbled upon this forum to find a solution. I played around with it a bit and it seems that if you slide your finger from the bottom up, you will come upon that new screen that will allow you to do various functions with your phone (put it in airport mode, lock, etc.), you can select your Airport from this screen and play your music wirelessly from your phone; at least this was my experience. They can, but not at the same time.
If one user left iTunes running, and another user tries to use iTunes from a different Windows user ID, that second user will get an error message. If they really want to use iTunes, they either have to beg the first user to log in and close iTunes, or else they have to restart the computer.
If you are asking the technical reason why, it is something about context switching.
