"Vaguely like" is the best we can hope for and a minor miracle in itself. PDF was never meant to be converted.

HT4623 How can I restore full color to the iphone fron it looking like the negative of a photo

The opening page looks like the negative of a photo. How can I restore that screen to normal colors?

Make sure Settings>General>Accessibility>Invert Colors is turned OFF.

Why doesn't my print-out look like the screen view?

This happens every time I use Firefox.
Whenever I try to print a listing from Ebay, the main picture is omitted from the print-out. Here is an example. This first link is to a screen-shot (Fn and PrtSc) of a typical listing on Ebay:

On the PhotoBucket page look for the image FirefoxScreen.jpg
There's a big picture of the item at the left-hand side of the page.
Now take a look at what I get when I use the Firefox 'Print' command (this is a scan of the printed page):
On the same PhotoBucket page look for FirefoxPrint.jpg
There's a big blank space where the main image should be!
I have not been idle and have checked a few things before posting this question:
1) I have attended to the print settings as highlighted in the helpful Firefox article on printer troubleshoting. It has not cured the problem.
2) From the same article I have tried the 'Print' function on Internet Explorer. While it pains me to say this, I get the correct printing from Internet Explorer.
3) Operating Firefox in 'Safe Mode' has not removed the problem.
4) Operating in 'Normal' mode but with add-ons disabled has not removed the problem.
5) When I hover the mouse over the main image on the Ebay page I get

in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Might this be a clue or is it a red-herring?
I would be most grateful for help.

Have you tried using the '''Print''' item at the bottom if that eBay page? 
Or is that what you are using?
Overall it isn't unusual for "print" to be a bit different than what shows on the "screen", that page may use @media for "screen" and for "print". The '''Print''' item on that page could be the difference, or the web browser might be following that code is you used the '''Print ''menu item or button''''' in Firefox.

Typically, the '''@print''' CSS code is used to hide navigation menu's ''(can't "navigate" to a different web page from a sheet of paper)'' and maybe advertisements ''(can't "click" on an ad that is on paper)'' from being printed out so that only the text of an article is printed to paper.
Basically, it's probably not a fault with Firefox, but rather Firefox following the commands on the page put there by the person who authored that page, or a standard CSS "style sheet" used by eBay.

I want to print an 8 x 10, but the photo does not look like the print preview - it truncates part of the picture

I am using an HP PSC 2355 printer - and have not had trouble printing before. The 8 x 10 photo does not print like the print preview does - everything elarges when the actual print completes, which truncates all details that need to be printed. Is ther a setting that I should be choosing?

There is no O or L in my Serial Number, and it starts with one single D, then a set of 3 numbers, 3 letters, 4 times, then 3 letters closing it down. When I check my Final Cut's serial number in the help section of the software, I get the same number. Yet, when I enter it in the site, it says, I have an invalid serial number. So I will call Apple Care. I hope I will be able to talk to a representative in an hour or so. It always takes so long that I grow beard while I wait.

William , thank you. I feel that the loss of half to one stop of exposure is the easiest issue to remedy. How do I fix the green tinge and the loss of sharpness ? I assume I merely use Aperture or a plug-in to re-sharpen the photos and adjust the colour balance back to the originals . Is there a fast way of doing this in bulk , as I have a project with several thousand files ?
By the way...I sort of understand that HTP can change the colour range and the exposure ( I think !! ) , but why does it soften the sharpness ?

Why does new 5s screen look like the old 4?

We just bought and backed up two new 5s replacing iphone 4. Why does one new 5s screen look like the old 4 iphone. One phone shows new version, one is still old. I have downloaded and backed up twice, same thing happens. Used icloud to backup.

Sure, here's two photos, LP5 is the old screen style, NP5 is the correct screen. Note the differences?

My iPad has a series of thin black lines running across the right side of the screen. They look like pages in a book.

How does one get rid of the thin black lines running across the right side of the screen? They look like the edges of pages..... This is an iPad3 and the lines have been there since I took the iPad out of the box.

Getting started tab won't show info..it's all purple and my page doesn't look like the illustrations

When I clicked on the getting started tab, the page illustrated does not look like the page I am currently getting. When I tried to click or roll over the various tabs, all I get is a purple box with no information.
So far, I have found this site very confusing and unhelpful.

When I put my dock on the side and then to the bottom again it looks like it is still on the side why?

it looks like the thing when the dock is on the side rather then when like the shelf when it is on the bottom. I cant figure out why i have tryed restarting and nothing happend. The apps still turn but nothing else.please help!!!!!!!

Ah yes. The inevitable third party system hack. Color your dock in haste. Repent in leisure.
If this were happening to me, I would try this first.
In the Terminal application (Utilities folder), I would type the command
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean NO
then press return, then
type
killall Dock
then press return.
The first command resets a preference regarding that "shelf" look you love so well.
The second command restarts the Dock so the change can take effect.
Any luck?

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options. 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily. 
You can place the Tab Bar on top.

I blocked quite a few different phone numbers awhile ago but when I looked at the blocked numbers today it looks like the same number has been blocked multiple times. Does anyone know why that is?

So for example if I blocked phone numbers 555-555-5555, 555-555-5556, and 555-555-5557 on different days it looks like only 555-555-5555 has been blocked 3 different times and I no longer see phone numbers 555-555-5556 or 555-555-5557. Does anyone know why?

Oh dear, one of those phantom disconnections. You know they are actually so common BT have a specialist department that deals with them. I think they are called Priority Back in Service, there is no actual phone number you can ring them on, you have to call 150 as normal and the customer service team are supposed to raise the issue with them to sort out.
You could contact that Mods but they sometimes take 3 days to reply, especially with it being the weekend.
