Why is the a505 series not compatible for the windows 10 upgrade

Why is the a505 series not compatible for the windows 10 upgrade. It does not show up in the system available for the upgrade.

Nobody said that it wasn't compatible. Microsoft makes that determination.  Toshiba, however, has chosen not to write new utilities and drivers for it for Windows 10.

    Hi anu,
Apple provides no downgrade path for the iOS. You need to check your setting and do some troubleshooting (do a search of this forum for suggestions). I have an iPhone 4, and I am running iOS 7.1.1 with no issues.

  • Why is Ovi Maps 3 not available for the E63

    Hi!
Why is Ovi Maps 3 not available for the E63 an 410.21... for the old OS 400....
    was OVI Maps available.
I got an license for ovi and now it is not running ;-(
Have any one an idea... thanks

Currently there is something very seriously broken in the latest firmwares, Maps 3.0x SIS files or Nokia Maps Updater. Until Nokia gets their problems sorted out, the only way to restore Maps 3.x after factory reset or firmware update is to use a version meant for previous generation devices, like this one (thanks to the user ovikovi).

Why is my iMac (G5) not compatible with mountain lion? I have 4 GB ram (667) and around 90GB hard drive space.

iMac G5 can only be upgraded to 10.5.8.
If you have continuing use, you are among the lucky ones.  I purchased many of these used from a company that shut down its American office.  Many of these eventually suffered from the "bad capacitor" problem and required a motherboard replacement from Apple.  I was lucky in that my local Genius bar approved these for no charge, even though Apple's extended warranty had expired.
My last one was my desktop Mac.  It's power supply failed in 2010 and I paid for a replacement.  In Summer 2011 when its HD failed, I decided it was time to move on and purchaed a Mac Mini, which I continue to run on Lion.

  • Series not defined for journal entry

    Hello Sir
I have defined two series namely "SCPL"  and "New1"
                    Start No    Last No
    SCPL        10001       3000
    New1         3001        30000
Now i have made "SCPL" series as default for A/R Invoices and "New1" series as default for rest of the documents like A/R Credit memo,Journal Entry  etc...
Now when I try to add an A/R Invoice , it gives me error message "Series not defined for journal entry"..??    But i have defined New1 series as default for Journal Entry

    Hi,
In the series defined for journal entry, set document series as default for which default journal entries will be posted automatically.
Ex.For delivey, return, invoice journal entry will be generated automatically,so if you a series like JESYS08 indicating system automated journal entry. This series should be set as default.
If you have further issue let me know.

  • DTW - Series not deifned for Journal Entry

    2007B
    Importing AP invoices thru DTW.
    using Document Series
The document series assigned for AP Invoice is "APINV" and the same document series is selected for JE also.
The code for APINV is "7"
The field in DTW to define the document series is "Series" and the series code is given (eg : "7")
DTW gives error "series not defined for Journal Entry Application defined or object defined.."
where as when tried to create an AP Invoice manually, it was successful.
    what could be the issue?
    vijay

I managed to find the issue.
    IN the DTW template,
the field, "handwritten' was tYES, which I changed to tNO as we follow document series and numbering series.
nothing is entered in the  'docnum' field.
now I get the error " to generate this document, first define document series'

  • Warning: Action and Event are not compatible for LinktoAction type

    Hi,
I get a warning message "Action and event are not compatible" for the action associated with the type LinkToAction. The Action method "ShowDetails" has the parameters wdEvent (default) and IWDNodeElement.
Can anybody please suggest what causes this warning?
    Regards
    Sagar

    Sagar,
Unfortunately, it is impossible to remove this warning completely. However, you may safely ignore it.
What you can do is copy text of warning (or part of text), then click "Filter" icon on Tasks view in IDE and set filter to hide these warnings. I do this for annoying "UI element has no lable text"

  • I want to install Windows 7 in bootcamp on my imac with Lion 10.7, but only have a Windows 7 upgrade disk.  I also have a full Vista.  Can I install in bootcamp using the Windows 7 upgrade disk?  If so, what do I need to know about how?

    Hi,
I want to install Windows 7 on my imac in bootcamp.  I have a windows 7 upgrade disk and a full vista disk.  Normally on a PC I would install Vista, then upgrade to Windows 7.  I see that bootcamp 4 only supports Windows 7.
Can I install the Windows 7 upgrade disk without first installing Vista?  Will this work in bootcamp?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Install 7. Don't bother with applying drivers and such, just reboot again from DVD and install again, it will see the existing system and this time activation will be possible.
Vista is mess, takes longer etc. Hope you have SP1 version of 7. And for Vista, only SP2+ are even supported now, by MS.

  • The Veriton X275 not eligible for Win. 10 upgrade! Why?

I have noticed that the Veriton X275 is not listed among the computers eligible for an upgrade to Windows 10. http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/windows10-eligible-models  Microsoft has indicated that this computer qualifies to upgrade and the Windows 10 app is stating that Microsoft is working with the Manufacter.  My other computer a Toshiba which was registered to upgrade to Win 10 some time afterward has already completed the process, so it is not regionally based. Others in my country have received Win 10 also.

that list states the models that will have drivers support, nothing related to eligilibty to windows 10 update. you can update it but you will need to search new drivers or let windows 10 install new drivers automatically.

  • Why is my macbook air not compatible with mountain lion?

When i want to buy montain lion in the app store i get the message that my machine (Macbook air) is not compatible. Why is that and can i do something to solve that problem?

Because your model is old and does not support the 64-bit EFI ROM requirement to install Mountain Lion. If you meet the 2 GB RAM requirements you could install Lion:
Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
             7. Xserve (Early 2009)
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
Am I eligible for the free upgrade?
See Apple - Free OS X Mountain Lion upgrade Program.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • Why is the window for entering bookmarks so small? Is there any reason why it cannot be resizable so that users can expand it if necessary.

I have a problem with the window size when entering bookmarks. I would like to expand the window so that I do not have to scroll down through the many folders I have.
Is there any special reason why the window is a fixed size? As far as I can see there should not be any problem with having a window which users can expand if necessary.
    Thank you,
    Sasha
