Why is the app store on my ipod touch 4g just close for no reason?

I go to search in the app store and it closes the store, any one else got this problem sent the iso 6 update?

I turned it off then turned it on but it is still kicking me out of the apple store. It is like it dont like me searching for apps. I have not restored it yet hoping i would not have to. It does not do it everytime sometimes I can browse then it kicks me out. Sorry I for got the say that earlier.

Do you have at last iOS version 2.0 or later? If so, make sure the App store hasn't been disabled from under the Restrictions setting. To check, head to Settings -> General -> Restrictions. You might also want to make sure it wasn't move to a folder or to another page.

Can't find the app store on my iPod touch fourth generation. The app store is nowhere to be found on any screens.

The app store can be rendered invisible if it's turned off in the restrictions.
Go to settings, general and scroll down to restrictions. If they're set, there'll be a passcode to enter. If you get in then you can see if the app store has been turned off.

On my iPod touch I don't have a spotlight search icon or option available. Also under my settings and general there is no "restriction" options or settings. I reset the iPod several times and that doesn't work.
The thing is the music that is on my iPod is not all in my iTunes library so I can never sync automatically. Also if i restore to factory settings then it will erase what i have on my iPod and not in my library. I always manually add songs. When I plug in my iPod and i go under Summary...the only other tabs are music, tv shows, photos and info. There is no Apps tab. When i plug in my iPhone i do get the apps tab.
I got my iTouch awhile ago....is it possible that this is why i can't get apps?? I got the iTouch back in 2008.

- You need iOS 2 or late for app. What is the version: Settings>General>About>Version
- Have yo use the Spotlight search? Maybe you just can't find it

I suspect you have a 4G iPod. As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB
