Why is the apple website no longer selling the original MacBook as of this month?
Just as I am about to purchase a Macbook (not Pro, not Air-- the original 13" which I think is more practical and reasonably priced), Apple removed it from the site! Can I still find it in their retail stores?
That model has been discontinued. You can still buy a refurbished unit. Get 'em while they last!

Why can i see an album (punk o rama 10) on the apple website but not in the itunes store
the title pretty much sums it up, added note: when i go to press view in store it tells me to download itunes which i have.
The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside in order to purchase iTunes content.

I bought new phone last week and as I was trying to load music in it, my PC won't recognize it. It's not chraging either. I googled it then it led me to apple website then there's an instruction to follow there. I followed it all then after installing the USB driver it says "access denied" I don't know what to do anymore. Any help? Thank you so much.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
At this point I would suggest completely uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the correct order and installing iTunes fresh again from the apple website. Please use the following article as reference.

Anoyone know why OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is no longer available on the Apple website?
Apple typically only has the current operating system available on it's web site. Kurt Lang provided the number to order 10.6 from Apple in the US.

Why does apple allow apps in the App Store hijack your Internet when certain websites? Why doesn't apple remove their products from the App Store?.
Apple saw it as their responsibility since the redirection took me to the App Store. They assisted me in stopping the redirection which is occurring on many peoples iPhones. It's a have java script problem that adking is using to get you to buy their games. The websites work normal and then all of the sudden the website is taken over by adking.com. You can no longer use the website as it immediately takes you to the App Store without ever showing a popup to cancel the redirection. They were very helpful fixing the problem should others experiencing this specifically with adking.com.
No need to get defensive. I'm not the only one experiencing the problem Apple said. -
Why is my Apple ID working on the Apple Website on the computer but not restoring my ipad... What is the problem with it????

Hi i haven't updated my iDVD seen 2005 and to get the new one i need 7.0.4 first and i downloaded it from the apple website and when i go into the updating process its says "An eligible iDVD application was not found in the location /Applications." why
Because you need to buy iLife 08 or newer on DVD first. If you're using iDVD 05, you probably have a PowerPC Mac and can't use iLife 11.

Apple website doen't recognise the serial number on my iPod Nano
Strange and frustrating!
I have a 1st generation iPod Nano. I received an email from Apple about a replacement program for the iPod Nano. I have been trying to check my serial number on the apple website, but it is not being recognised.
I took the product to the apple store in covent garden (london) where the CSR confirmed it looked right, and that if it wasn't being recognised I should email apple to get an answer. But I can't find an email address anywhere, all routes through the official support site seem to end in a dead end. I am bored looking!
Any advice from the community? it feels like a simple request from the mighty technology company.....to be able to email someone a sensible question!

MattThe Apple Store you visited should have been abled to assist you with the replacement process as well. Why not just bring it back and have them help you get the process started?

Where can I get imovie 06 since they took it off the apple website?
I just got an 08 mac book pro and I bought it because I was told I could download imovie 06 off the apple website. that was the whole reason why I got a mac, but now, they apparently just took the download off. Does anyone know where I can find the download? Thank you for your help

Note the date of your link: well out of date, and the link stated in your link that is supposed to link to Apple's download link for iMovie 6 - doesn't!
As you know we are forbidden to tell people where to obtain iMovie 6 except to suggest that they buy iLife 6 on eBay.

I was trying to play the Time Machine video tutorial on the Apple Website (I have an imac 10.6.6) and it won't play in Firefox, but it will in Safari and Chrome. This has happened before but then seemed to fix itself. Other videos (Youtube for eg.) play fine. All plugs (Java and Flash) are up to date. Just wondering why this could happen.
I have had this problem for a few days, no sound in Firefox, but IE and WMP (offline) have sound, this is a Firefox ONLY problem, so the volumes are all set correctly and the drivers and needed files are there, I've tried every fix that people have suggested on Google like checking the flash player settings, creating the "missing.reg" registry file and importing it, etc...
nothing works, I may just have to switch to Safari or Chrome, I watch a lot of video online (Youtube, ESPN3, NFL.com, etc.) so this is a huge problem... -

I'm looking for a website that is selling the 5G at maybe a slight discount WITH FREE SHIPPING and no sales tax. Anyone found one yet? I'm wondering if the Apple stores have an exclusive sales period when a new item pops up in their store?
Apple doesn't usually allow discounting on their products. Amazon sometimes offers free shipping on some items. Sometimes Apple has free shipping deals but you will have to pay sales tax if Apple has any stores in your state.

I just wanted to restore my ipod nano, it told me to go to the support area of the apple website which i did andi followed the steps and they worked for about 2 seconds and then it told me to go back to the support area. it is fairly old but i dont understand why it will not reset?

I've downloaded quicktime but every time I try to play a video on the apple website using internet explorer it asks me to download quicktime again yet if I'm safari it plays fine. Any suggestions?
That sounds like IE wants you to install the QuickTime ActiveX control.
Go back to the page you're getting the message on. At the bottom of the screen, can you see a long rectangular box asking you to allow/install something? (Sorry, it's been a while since I've seen the box in question, so I can't recall the precise wording.)
If so, allow/OK in that box. After the ActiveX control has gone in, can you see the videos in IE? -
Both wife and I now have Iphones. Were on the Apple website do I go to get her, her own icloud account/email etc. I want to keep the itunes apple ID the same sso we can share purchases, just dont need to see all her messages?
On her iPhone. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Add Account>iCloud>Get A Free Apple ID.
Use this ID for iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime on her iPhone. Keep your ID in Settings>iTunes and App Stores on both iPhones.
