Why is the CANVAS so shy all of all sudden?
Suddenly, when I want to slide the Canvas around to enlarge it full screen, it hides behind the Viewer or the Browser or the Timeline. Brand new phenomena. Any shortcuts for making the Canvas fullscreen and back? And why this new curtailment? - Thanks!

The Viewer, Browser, Canvas and Timeline are all different windows that have their own visual hierarchy. If you resize the canvas and then select the viewer and they overlap, the viewer will cover the canvas. Quickest way to get back to your canvas if you lose it is using exposé.
To preview your movie turn on Digital Cinema Display. Go to the toolbar ----> View ----> Video Playback ---> and Select Digital Cinema Display Playback.
Now use command + F12 to toggle between cinema display and your standard editing view. If you're using a notebook you'll have to reclaim your F1-F12 keys in system preferences.
Other hotkeys for navigating between your windows while editing:
Command + 1 = Viewer
Command + 2 = Canvas
Command + 3 = Timeline
Command + 4 = Browser
Option + H will give you a list of all the hotkeys.

Windows XPI would try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Once the phone restarts, see if it is working correctly. It sounds to me like you may have too many text messages in the Messages app. Have you deleted anything from there lately?

Why is the print area on all envelope templates more than 1/2 inch from the left side of the envelope.. ? Can this be fixed or changed.. ?
I have pages 09 version 4.1... It is a small aggravation.. The left 3 or 4 characters on the return address would not print until I realized that by clicking on
" View " & " Show Lay-Out " that it was out side the printable range ...It seems to be a Pages template " Print range " issue.. Both the Epson and the HP printers were doing it and it was today that I realized why.. !!
When I move it to where it will print there is large gap on the left margin of the return address.. Just wondering if anyone else knew about this.. ? My Pages is ' 09 ' version 4.1... -
why is the ios6 compatible for all the iphones but not all the phones got the all upgrades, for example the panorama camera?? this is another reason I am starting to dislike apple. An ipod is able to us an upgrade but not all the phones are? makes sense

Ios 6 is not available for all iphones. Original Iphone and iphone 3 are not supported.

This is common for most any device/computer. Not all iphone/computer/device models can handle all of the new features. Like any device, hardware is limited and cannot always support all new features and software. -
Why does the canvas said "unrendered"?
I thought the whole new thing with FCE 3.5 is that you can view nearly all transitions and effects without rendering, but I can't view anything in the canvas even without transitions, etc. Could anyone clarify for me the reason for this and how to truly preview effects?
You know it actually fixed itself and I have no idea why. I'm sorry for asking...I have no idea what happened. In case you have any clue, I am running an MBP with FCE Express 3.5 I really am not sure what happened but it's fixed so...

Why is the ipod screen on all the time when plugged in
and conversely, why does the screen only show the time when you are actually walking around playing music?
Is there any way to change that? I want to see what song is playing, not what time it is or whatever that number on the screen means.

BobI don't want it to stay ON, ie lit -- I just want the information on the screen to stay the same, is that so hard? The time is on that screen anyway, why not give us an option to leave it that way? The battery lasts plenty long compared to older ipods.

Why is the trigger triggering on all fields in a table?
I have a trigger and the text is as follows. The trigger should just write the emplid to the table PS_DM_ADDR_CHG_EMP whenever there is an update to the fields
STREET1,STREET2 ,STREET3 ,CITY ,STATE ,ZIP ,COUNTRY in PS_PERSONAL_DATA. But some how it is writing emplid to the PS_DM_ADDR_CHG_EMP when any updateis done on any field on the 50 plus fields of the PS_PERSONAL_DATA table. Is there any reason why this happens. I looked at all other triggers and none of them writes any thing to this table though I found one more trigger on PS_PERSONAL_DATA for any insert or update or delete on any field and it uses insert in some other table. I did not see any other triggers related to the PS_PERSONAL_DATA table. So how to diagonize the issue of finding what is causing to write the data to this custom table.

To test your trigger - You may want to create a temparory table and have an insert statement for the temp table in your trigger and test it by updating other columns of your main table.
Also you may want to ensure it is not the UPDATE statement which is causing the trouble for you by updating some unintended rows...

Why is the mainscreen/stage moving all over?
Hello All, it's me Mr. Whinie again with yet anouther "problem"
CP6 Mac when I duplicate an item or save, the "stage" moves to a different part of the open window, many times leaving only a small bit visible and forcing me to reposition it to see the whole screen. WHY?
Now for those of you that have messaged me because I'm "whining too much", I have used Adobe products since 1990 and have used numerous versions of all of their programs including Director and Flash and have been a giving comminuty member helping others for pretty much all of those years.
If you look at my posts the things that I am "whining" about are simple things that should have, IMHO, NEVER made it to a release state. The Groups, constantly expanding in the timeline, the multiple levels of "backgrounds", the seemingly extreme lack of Javascript documentation or even debugging, the inconsistant interface with other Adobe products and now the stage moving all over the place are simply things that should have been addressed.
I have no problem paying for software, but with the new advent of "cheap" software available, when a company like Adobe charges a premium for software, then IMHO it should be EXTREMELY well tested and documented. They should also allow the purchase of a pervious version for at least 6mo. until all the kinks of the new release are worked out by those that want to fight with the newest release.
Any insight on how I can stop the above would be welcome.

GregLieve, do you also use an external mouse? If so, you may want to consider trying to configure the laptop so that the touchpad is disabled when the mouse is present. Many laptops will allow you to do that.

Why is the color wheel turning all the time
Just recently on the Mac the color wheel stops and turns all the time and slows down my computer. What can I do to fix this problem?
The color wheel (beachball to some)l means the computer is thinking. Upgrading to Snow Leopard or Lion will not cure this and might well make this worse. Checking you have adequate RAM and free hard drive space (at least 15GB) are the most immediate concerns. There can be many issues that can cause this and they need to be investigated systmatically.
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). -
After downloading 7.0.3. And then buying an audiobook on iTunes, all the contents in my Books section disappeared, and the new book - 30+ hours - has still has still not fully downloaded. Are all these things linked?

Why does the Organizer automatically grab all images.
I just discovered that every image I have brought into my iMac is appearing as a folder in the Organizer. I don't regularly use the Organizer and don't want all images to appear there.
How did this happen?
Mary LouNo. I always do a manual download of images by dragging and dropping them into a folder on my external hard drive.
The images that I am finding in the Organizer catalog are even images that I downloaded from an email attachment!

Why is the body/content of all my emails invisible except for a few lines in the small preview pane?
The body/content of my emails is invisible in the large/main part of the screen when using the mail app on my iPad. I can see some of the text from each email in the small preview pane on the left side of the screen (when holding iPad in landscape orientation). The only way I can read the content of an email is to forward or reply and then the body/content appears. How do I fix this problem??
Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
Why has the image quality of my PNG sequences suddenly worsened?
I've been regularly exporting PNG sequences from Premiere Pro CS6, but suddenly the image quality of the images looks terrible.
All my export settings look correct. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

My ... settings are ... 792x582 (same size as source)... My Preview File Format is the default I-frame only MPEG.
Your frame size is not good for previewing in PrPro. MPEG 2 uses macroblocks of 8x8 pixels for compressing data. And now what you get with your frame size: 792 pix / 8 = 99; 582 pix / 8 = 72.75

Why have the font sizes in my existing emails suddenly changed from uniform to mixed?
All of a sudden the font sizes in my existing emails have changed from the same size to different sizes -- some larger, some smaller. Also, in some cases the font has changed from normal to bold. I used to be able to solve this problem when it happened before by closing and reopening TB, but that doesn't work anymore. I haven't made any changes to the font settings. Any suggestions?
