Why is the difference in the Driver Version numb

Hi all,I from down load site did a down load of the SB X-Fi Xtreme Music driver version 2.5.002. After my download the Dell's Device Manager Details for the SB X-Fi Xtreme Driver detailssuggestsVersion 6.0..35Date 0/5/2007. Mine a factory installed upgraded SB X-Fi Xtreme music PCI sound card. Would this be an OEM or Not?Thanking you?Snow

Its the package version I think as ssome drivers can contain lots of different versions.Would make sense to line up all up and call it the 6.0..35 package, but only NVIDIA seems to have the common sense to release drivers in such a way (even ATI like having Catalyst releases containing a different control center version and display driver version)

Why is the number of e-mails higher on my iPhone than in my e-mail when I log into it from my computer?  And how do I fix it?  The number keeps climbing on my phone, making the difference between the two greater.

    You're welcome.
In order to have the account's Sent mailbox synchronized with the server with the Mail.app on your Mac and with the iPhone's Mail application, you must store the account's Sent mailbox on the server with each. The same applies to the account's Drafts and Trash mailboxes.
With store sent messages on the server deselected for the account preferences with the Mail.app on your Mac, create an "On My Mac" location mailbox. At the Mail.app menu bar go to Mailbox and select New Mailbox. Choose On My Mac for the mailbox location - which will be stored locally on your computer's hard drive and enter a name for the mailbox. You can name this mailbox MobileMe Sent. Select OK to create the mailbox, which will be available under "On My Mac" in the Mail.app mailboxes drawer.
Select your MobileMe Sent mailbox. Select a sent message in the mailbox and at the menu bar go to Edit and choose Select All. Follow this - at the Mail.app menu bar go to Message and select Move To and then select the new On My Mac location mailbox in the window provided. This will move all messages from the account's locally stored sent mailbox to the newly created On My Mac location mailbox. When this transfer has been completed, re-select store sent messages on the server for the account preferences.
Now do the same with the newly created On My Mac location mailbox where all sent messages were transferred to. Select a message in the mailbox and at the menu bar go to Edit > Select All. At the menu bar go to Message > Move To and select your MobileMe account's server stored Sent mailbox under Sent in the window provided. This will transfer all messages stored locally on your computer's hard drive from the newly created "On My Mac" location mailbox to the account's server stored Sent mailbox. These messages will no be available when accessing the account with the iPhone's Mail application.

Not really. Lion is Lion, last year, this year, it is still Lion.
Yes, but it's a different version. Very cleverly said Barney
    Pete
No it is not. The newest update just adds some things to it, no new features and only fixes bugs. It is still Lion OS X 10.7.x. It is not 10.6 or 10.8.
It is just a "Point" release and not a New Operating system. All Macbook Pros that could run Lion from last year can run the newest Lion Point release from this year.
Oh and by the way Barney was talking about Mountain Lion, 10.8. Which is a NEW OS X operating system and has nothing to do with Lion 10.7.x. And it is not out yet.
lol. Don't bust a blood vein. The comment was made in jest, but if you want to be serious, then OK 10.7 and 10.7.1 were different than 10.7.2 and 10.7.3. Why? Well one little thing called 'iCloud' for a start.

Sorry, there was absolutely no mention of the upcoming 10.8 that I could see in Barney's comment.
Cheer Up. Life can't be that bad.

    Any ideas?

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images from Lightroom and choosing the "Render using Lightroom option when it popped up in the dialogue box. She has been doing this for over a year and a half without any problem. Today when she hit Command E no dialogue box appeared and the image just opened in Photoshop. I'm concerned that all of her Lightroom edits are not being rendered to Photoshop. Anyone have an idea as to how we can get the "Render using Lightroom" dialogue back?

What is the differences between the older version of Oracle Financials and 11i?

Vijay,Thanks for your answer, but I am still not clear about it,I have a instance to describe my question at detail.
If there is a final product A, and the planning strategy for A is 20(MTO), the procurement type of A is F(external procurement) at the view mrp2 in the material master datas.
    step1: I creat a sales order.
    step2: run MRP for A.
step3: transfer the purchase requistion into a purchase order, and the field of acc.***.cat. in the purchase order will be filled out M automatically, because the acc.***.cat. in the planning strategy 20(MTO) is set with E.
Well, the purchase order is created, what is the relationship between the sales order and the purchase order? What will be happened about costing between the SO and the PO?
If I delete the E, I make the PO become a standard PO, what is difference between standard PO and the PO including E?
    Best Regards
    Bob

That's correct. The new models don't use standard drive configurations, they use PCIe connections. There is no support for HDDs in the new models (Retina models and MBAs.)

What is the difference between the new 13" MacBook Pros and the previous version of the 13" MacBook Pro?  I purchased an "old" one from Best Buy the day before the announcement of the new models.

    See the specs:
Compare Notebooks - Apple Store (U.S.)
Compare with your model. If you are within 14 days of purchase you can exchange for the new model for the difference in price, if any. Be sure to have all the original packaging and your receipt.

What is the difference between the new 13" MacBook Pros and the previous version of the 13" MacBook Pro?

Note that iStatPro has not been updated in quite awhile and may not be reading the guts of a totally new system correctly. IIRC, the Late 2011 MBPs were beginning to tax iStatPro already, as they had newer sensors the older code was completely unaware of.
For strictly measuring temps on the guts of these newer Macs, maybe use Marcel Bresink's free Temperature Monitor? Last updated in March 2012. In my Late 2011 15" MBP, it picks up all 18 sensors...

Or go whole hog for his Hardware Monitor, for oodles more info from the Mac. Follow the Products link from above.

  • Whats the difference between the old iCloud and the new iCloud drive?

Can anybody explain the difference between the two?  The new iCloud drive does nothing new, same as the old iCloud.

Did you read the page that Peter provided? See bold text in paragraph below - you open an iCloud enabled app to see the files.
Storing files in iCloud is simple. Just as it should be.
To upload your files to iCloud, simply drag them into the iCloud Drive on your Mac running OS X Yosemite or PC running Windows 7 or later. Or start a new document using an iCloud-enabled app on your iOS device. Then you’ll be able to access those documents from all your devices.

What are the differences between a trial version and a licensed copy of RoboHelp? How is original Robohelp software useful compared to the evaluation version (freely downloaded software)
    Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum.
The only difference should be that the trial is limited to 30 days use. All functionality works and nothing is watermarked Trial or suchlike.
The trial of the standalone version allows you to link to FrameMaker documents. It should not and that feature will be disabled if you proceed with the full version. Other than the time limitation, that is the only difference.

This should mean a fairly significant increase in range with the new model.  I would imagine these changes would be consistent with the Time Capsule as well.

  • What's the difference between the ssd and hd?

I'm in the process of buying a Mac book pro but wanted to know and understand What's the difference between the ssd and hd?

    DDHeadley wrote:
What's the difference between the ssd and hd?
HD = hard drive, several metal platters stacked and data read/written magnetically.
Pro's - less expensive and higher capacity of storage. Can scrub the drive of unwanted data. Unlimited write capability.
Con'- bit rot can cause data and operating system to not be as reliable, mechanical moving parts means you can't move the machine while it's on.
SSD = Solid State Disk, basically memory chips that can store data in a permanent fashion without power (like Random Access Memory needs)
Pro's - faster read/write speeds in most cases. Shock resistant makes them ideal for portable uses.
Con's - new technology issues, one cannot securely erase the data on them, unless it's ground into a fine powder. Limited write capability means they will wear out eventually like USB thumb drives do. Wear leveling (TRIM) is used to spread the writes evenly across the drive to maximize it's lifespan.
If you can respect the machine, take care of it and not move it while it's on, or need to scrub the drive of unwanted data, or need higher capacity of storage without paying a fortune for a very large SSD, then a HD makes a lot of sense.
It really comes down to your privacy, do you want a machine you cannot delete files off of?
Do you want to carry around a machine that has all your dirty secrets etched in it for anyone with the right software to uncover?
A computer is a personal machine, why it's called a Personal Computer. We all do things we sometimes are later ashamed of and want to erase all memory of it.
Can't do that with a SSD, it knows all and you will be forced to destroy the machine to rid it of the unwanted data.

  • What are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation

what are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation ?

The iPad with retina display only comes in the 16GB version and it has the A6 processor which is a step down from the Air model. Having said that, I stream movies on my iPad 3 with retina and it has the A5 processor and the movies stream just fine as does everything else that I do on the internet.
If 16GB is enough storage for you, the $100 savings compared to an iPad Air model is a fair amount of money and that might sway me if I was just worried about saving some money. However, that's not my style. I always go for the largest capacity that I can afford and the faster processor if I have the choice.
Having said that, if it were me, I would select the 32 GB iPad Air. But in spite of the information that you provided in which you want to base your decision, only you can be the judge of what will be best for you, and remember that you cannot add storage capacity to the decide later. You can purchase external WiFi drives if you need the storage, but to me, that takes away from having the really small footprint and portability of only having to carry the iPad around gives you.

the war is the preconfigured/deployed mapviewer in that glassfish container.
