Why is the extension says 30112 in a phone number 14043000112?

My Phone Number is 14043000112. When I checked my extension is 30112 in CUCM. Why is that. Does it have any reason or is it written manually like that?

Most likely your dial plan is +E.164 and you have translation/transformation patterns in place.
This week there have been 3-4 questions about the usage of \ in patterns, do a quick search, or read the dial plan chapter from SRND where this is explained. E.164 and +E.164 are also explained in the SRND.

For a communications company why is it so hard to get a phone number to talk to a real person?

Verizon is a communications company: why is it so hard to get a phone number to talk to a real person? Why when I call to set up a payment plan I get an auto response the sets up my payment date with no option to decline? Why hasn't the FCC shut this company down for breech of contract and lying to its customers?

Breach of contract? You are in breach of contract by not paying for services rendered.
Why should you be late paying an invoice and yet expect Verizon to keep your device on? You are breaching the contract.
#PMT from your device gives you an option for payment arrangements. The system more than likely can only extend the due dates by a certain number of days.
*611 or 1-800-922-0204 and ask to speak to financial services and ask them to extend the date.
Verizon would be out of business if everyone just paid them when they please.

My iPhone phone number appeared as a recipient option on my mac as soon as I launched Messages on my iPhone but not on the iPad and I can't find a way to add it.

You do not have an app but you can setup your iMessage on the iPhone and switch it on (as it is since you receive messages on the iPhone).
In the same setup screen under iMessage you should have send receipt, send as SMS and also Send and Receive howmanyadress > Click on here and you will enter a new screen.
On top there should be you Apple ID and under your phone number. Under the phone number you can add some Mail adress to be used for iMessage. I believe it is important ot have the Apple ID on the top of this screen and at least one Apple Mail checked as to be used for iMessage.
This should be enought to get iMessage both on iPhone and Mac.
Try this and let iCloud to sync for few minutes and you should have the data on the Mac too.

There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.

So I went to the page and entered my # and got the code. When I entered the code it said my number is not registered and gave me an error.
I KNOW I'm not getting people's messages, so now what?

NOT a website issue; but the canned choices are bad. Why must the Extensions window launch with FF every time??

This canned menu is as bad as the cable company's. I do NOT want to start in safe/without extensions; but I am tired of having the Extensions box pop up on every browser start. can this be stopped?

Why does the "Format & Strip" function not return a number in the same format as "Format String"?

I am using the "Format and String" function in a vi with the "string" input wired to a string of type "0.9998,0.9899,1.0003,0.9995, (etc)". I have wired the "format string" input to a string constant "%1.4f". Irrespective of the format string, I always get a number out that is rounded to 2 decimal places. I have tried different number formats in the format string, and I have wired a 4d.p. floating point number to "default". I have also set the precision of the format string to 4 d.p. with no effect. Any suggestions (or is the output always rounded to 2 d.p.)?

If you are looking at the result in a numeric indicator, then the default setting is 2 places of decimal, that is displayed.
You need to right click on the indicator and select Format & Precision then change the Digits of Precision value.

Where is the area to look up a phone number?

Why must Verizon change the way their web page looks and when you do make a change why is it so hard to find things like looking up a phone number? Since doesn't want to send out phone books to our homes any longer so it should be very clear where to find this feature and yet it is not. Doing a search on reverse look up or finding a phone number yields so many hits that it would take me hours to read through everything to see if perhaps it contained the info I was looking for.

Works here. I do find that Verizon does tend to change their web site from time to time, thus the URLs change also. Gets annoying at times.
Doesn't work for me. I typed in my Mom's number because she is listed in the local phone book and I can find her on Google but when I type her number on that page it gives me an error and says sorry we are not able to process your request and gives me choices return to previous page go to home page etc and that's it, doesn't find the name. There are a ton of other sites that do the same thig. Mary

Caller id says MY OWN HOME PHONE NUMBER is calling itself!?!?

Today I apparently got a call from myself, or a ghost! The phone rings, I look at the caller id, and it says that it is my HOME PHONE NUMBER calling my home phone (itself)!! I answer, and no one is there. This has happened before, and I just want to make sure no one is hacking my phone number somehow. Anybody know what this means??

IPhone 4G syncing with iTunes The screen does not show my phone number and backs up to an old file from four months ago.

iOS 6.0 was available this week, so I updated my iPhone 4S. At first it showed a long yellow (other bar) of 10GB, then took the entire day to update my photos (about 20,000 of them. So I tried restoring the phone and the message on iTunes was that I had restored from a different phone. Now I cannot get my phone number to show up on the summary page of iTunes. It says n/a.
And it restores from a backup in June. And those are locked. Any ideas how to get back up to date?
