Why is the font size for hot links smaller than other text on some web pages

On some web sites, the hotlinked words and some words in colour appear in a smaller font than they were designed to be.
When the web master changed the colour to black on one title at the website noted below, it appeared in the correct size.

That site is designed that way: font-size: x-small;

How does one change the font size for folders and/or file lists in the '''Bookmarks''' Library?
Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.

Your iPod touch running OS 4.2 has a ZOOM feature which will enable you to see the screen more clearly.
To turn Zoom on or off got to:

Set the text size: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility, tap Large Text, then tap the text size you want.
I hope this has helped a little - other than this option I think it pretty much is what it is.

Ideally the font size would be controlled by the <font tag and if you have made changes correctly it should be reflected correctly.
Check whether the HTML code is also correct.

Somebody please help me with adjusting the font size for itunes on my pc. The font in the itunes store is to small for me to read.

I can't find a way to adust the font size when I am in itunes on my pc. I know how to adjust the display setting, but that seems to be an overkill. I don't need to use the largest font size all the time. Surely there must be a simple way to just adust only what I need to in itunes.

How can I increase the font size for safari?

Does anyone know how I can increase the overall font size when in Safari? I recently purchased a 21.5" iMac and while the screen is brilliant, the font size is very small when I'm using Safari. Also, the web page is about a 1/3rd of the size of the screen. Would anyone know how to make it such that a web page is across the full screen? Otherwise, what's the point of such a big screen?

To get full screen view, look down at right hand corner of page.
You will see hash marks at a 45 degree angle in the corner.
Set pointer on it, and grab out to full edge of screen.
This works for all Apps including images.
I do this as default, being I sit about 5-6 feet from the screen.
Then use Pinch- Out to expand the page within the Browser.
Pinch-Out works for all Images loaded on the screen as well.
*You may know this already, grab browser window at the top edge,
and move it near the left edge of screen first.
I'll throw in a handy viewing tip of items saved on the desk top,
or within the Finder so that you don't actually have to launch the item.
Simply highlite it, then hit Space Bar.
This is part of Quick View,,, The Eye Ball Icon in header of viewing Finder does the same thing.
This works for all video files as well for a Quick View, w/o running huge ram loads.
Hit Space again to turn it off , Quick View.
You can leave it on if browsing stack of files, then arrow down or up for those views.

I know that I must include a custom ini file to specify font name AND size for target PCs (the ones where the EXE runs).
For example

dialogFont="Tahoma" 13
systemFont="Tahoma" 13
Is there a way to specify only the font size and not the name? (i.e. I want to use the specific font for a given PC, but I want to set its size).
I tried with
appFont= 13
but this setting is ignored.
When I used
appFont= "0" 13
the size was correctly set, but what does the "0" mean?

Yes I believe this will work.
You could confirm by the fact,
The default Application font is the Message Box Font which is Segoi UI and Tahoma for Windows VISTA and XP machines respectively. To verify this this on a Windows XP machine, complete the following steps:
Open Start»Settings»Control Panel»Display
On the Appearance tab, press Advanced
Select Message Box from the Item: pull-down menu
The font is displayed in the Font: pull-down menu
.. does the font change between "0" and Tahoma for example..

Why does the font size change unexpectedly when I use the touchpad with my new HP laptop with Windows 8?

Frequently the font size will change when the touchpad is touched. This is annoying! Is there a setting adjustment I can make to keep this from happening?

This is very experimental, but since no one else has replied...
I'm not sure which computers are affected, but Firefox has some support for touchpad "gestures" on multi-touch touchpads. Most of the ones that affect the zoom level of the page are the "pinching" gestures, like a smartphone screen. However, it seems that by default a "tap" will reset the zoom level, and that might be the problem here.
Could you try this?
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''gest''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''browser.gesture.tap''' and change it to... I'm not sure whether there is a command for "do nothing" but you could try typing or pasting in '''cmd_selectNone''' which cancels the current text selection in the page (if any).

Click on the text in the menu so that you see the bounding box around it. Look to the right of the Movie Menu customization workspace, Adjustments Palette, Text and edit your text font style and size.
In this screenshot, "Glass Flowers" text in the main menu is selected and its Adjustments Palette Text editing opportunities are shown. To do comparable editing in the scene menu, click on the scene menu in the bin to bring its image up to the screen.

Increasing the font size for printing in FB03

Hi All,
I am trying to print a FI document from FB03.
But, i am getting print only 1/4th of the A4 size paper.(i mean only 25% of the page is covered and remaining 75% is blank) Now, I need to increase the font size so that it covers more portion of A4 size paper.
I tried to change "Format settings" in Print settings but in vain.
Please advise

Please make sure that the format settings that you have changed has taken effect.
X_65_200 is suitable and it gives the print with 90% of the page.
When you change the format settings it will change the font size according to properties.

Why does the font used for iTunes show as an outline?

I cannot get the font used for iTunes to change from an outline. I am using Suitcase Fusion and have turned on and off the Office fonts etc.

Try this: Go to Control Panel, Fonts.
On the left pane click "Font settings" > uncehck "Hide fonts based on language settings" > Click "Ok" at the bottom. Restart you computer just to be sure the setting went through. See if that helps.

Why have the font sizes in my existing emails suddenly changed from uniform to mixed?

All of a sudden the font sizes in my existing emails have changed from the same size to different sizes -- some larger, some smaller. Also, in some cases the font has changed from normal to bold. I used to be able to solve this problem when it happened before by closing and reopening TB, but that doesn't work anymore. I haven't made any changes to the font settings. Any suggestions?
