Why is the helpdesk of Adobe unreachable?

I bought myself a brand-new Apple Mac Book Pro yesterday, the newest... Superhappy
....until I started downloading programs from CC.
Trying for hours, It did not not work.
I tried to contact Adobe, but, what a frustrating experience was that.
I was on the Phone for over 30 minutes, listening to elevator music, not having any idea of when I would be helped.
After 32 minutes I gave up.
Trying the chat: same result.
So good as your pragramms are, so bad is your customer service.
Please Adobe, improve your helpdesk, it realy doesn't suit the brand.

Why is the information on Adobe's help pages incorrect

I have spent the last few hours of today and yesterday discussing with adobe support staff why I am unable to access Mini Bridge in some of my adobe platforms.
The help section provided by adobe: Bridge Help | Mini Bridge explains how Mini Bridge is available in Photoshop, however speaking to support staff this extension is no longer support in Photoshop CC or later. Can I ask how many people would consider this information to be incorrect / false and think it should be more accurately maintained by the adobe workforce (to put it politely)?

Speaking to Adobe support staff themselves they express that Mini Bridge is not handled in Photoshop CC or Photoshop CC 2014 so if you're saying that it works this doesn't align with what adobe is saying. As for being addressed on the community that is not the issue I am making, I do not have the time or effort to trawl through blogs and discussions to find a suitable answer the website I specifically mentioned gives no parameters for software requirements which it should. Basically the mini bridge help section hosted on Adobe should say that it is no longer supported on Photoshop CC or Photoshop CC 2014 as it currently gives the impression it still exists when as I have said adobe have told me it does not.

Why in the hell is Adobe forcing me to install Mcafee???

As if it were not enough to receive constant flash player updates anouncements, the last one came with a surprise. This time Adobe didn't allow me to choose whether to install mcafee or not (btw shame on you Adobe for making me to have to uncheck that box every time). A pop up window shown up with the download status of both Flash player update and mcafee, and installed it without asking. Why should I have to loose my time having to uninstall mcafee? Why should I have to loose my time having to uncheck that box every other time? How do I know Mcafee has not left anything in my computer after uninstall? I have my own antivirus, so please, just stop annoying your users with that kind of annoying behaviour.
PS: I don't install anything automatically before checking how it was for other users, so save your advices on enable updates automatically.

Generally this occurs because there's a third-party plug-in that affects how the JavaScript on the page got executed. Ghostery, AdBlock Pro and NoScript are common candidates.

Our online registration forms now have the Adobe Forms Central advertising footer reappear. We paid the subscription to not have that. ideas on why they have now reappeared?

These forms are not embedded correctly. I'm surprised they even work. You need to go to the distribute tab, click Embed button, copy the embed code provided and then paste that into your HTML. Why do the colours from Adobe Color Theme creation change when I try to use them?

I've been exploring the Adobe Color Theme creator in InDesign. There are the three tabs: Create, Explore, My Themes. In the create tab I can create a theme of colours, get the combination just right, and then save my new theme. However as soon as I save any colour out to the swatches, the colour changes! It's driving me nuts.
[Original Colour] -Colour it comes out as-
[green turquoise] -prussian blue-
[strong, bright red] -darkish orange-
[warm purple] -faded dark mauve-
My best guess was that maybe the colour profile of the document was set to CMYK and that the colour themes work in RGB, but as far as I can determine it's just "North America General Purpose 2" and the Working Spaces include both RGB and CMYK. Therefore I'm stumped. I do not have the expertise to figure out what is going on and these are significant colour changes to have a really strong, vibrant colour palette turn into something much more muted.
And if this piece of information is of any use, my yellow doesn't seem to change at all.
Any ideas please? I've tried searching for it, but maybe I'm not putting in the right combination of keywords. Hopefully I'm just being obtuse and someone will tell me to put a checkmark in a box somewhere.

There are some slight value changes between the Theme and the Swatches, but we're only talking a change of 1 or 2 and so the colours appear to stay true now. Total pain to have to do this extra little step every time. =)
a huge, glaring, and sloppy problem which really ought to be fixed by Adobe pronto.
You can batch change the color mode of swatches if you select all of the swatches and double click them. Or, you can simply leave the Lab values and let the conversion to the correct CMYK space happen when you export to PDF.
I'm guessing the fix won't be coming soon. The original Kuler app had the same color management problem. It's hard to see how they will fix it and keep Color Themes as a cloud based web app.
When you convert the Lab swatches the CMYK values you get will depend on the document's assigned profile, so if you make two document's with different profiles assigned you'll get different CMYK values when you convert the Lab values. Here is US SWOP vs US SNAP

Why does the screen say, "Adobe Reader is blocked for this website."

When I try to continue on to the site and trust the site, I recieve a different message stating, "Before viewing PDF documents, in this browser, you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the end user agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."
I have tried redownloading the program and accepting the agreement again, but this does not seem to be working. I am out of ideas......

Did you actually read the message you got? It doesn't say anything about redownloading; it says to launch (open) the Adobe Reader application and accept the EULA.

Why does the sign into Adobe ID keep showing up in Captivate?

This shows up each time I start Captivate 7. I've tried to register with my serial number and it says I can't because it's a volume license. I sign in with my Adobe ID, and this screen goes away, only to reappear when I launch it again. I select Sign in from the Help menu, I sign in, and it goes away. I go back to the Help menu and it still says Sign In.
What the heck? This is so annoying? Is Captivate going to stop working for me???

Working on a network domain with proxy server, but I also tried from home, with only the internet connection, no work connection and got th esame problem.
I have other Adobe software, and a license key for Captivate 6, as well. I just upgraded but I was given a new install. I list all my products on your adobe site, Captivate shows, with a different license key. I can't seem to enter this license key or get the stinkin message to stop displaying. I'm afraid it will expire and I won't be able to use it.
I also have Acrobat X pro.

Why is the upgrade for Adobe Photoshop and Premiere elements more expensive than just buying them?

I currently have Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12 installed on my mac and when I go to upgrade to 13 the price increases from just buying the two because of the sale. Can I just buy them for the cheaper price and uninstall the current version? ..or do I have to upgrade and pay more money?

Whether you buy one "full" version and upgrade it several times or buy several "full" versions, after installation, the end result on your hard drive is exactly the same.
The only difference between upgrade and "full" is the price you pay at the time of upgrading.
If the "full" version happens to be cheaper than the upgrade then buy the "full" version. Nothing lost. Nothing gained.
A "full" version actually makes your life easier since you only need to enter one serial number if you ever need to re-install. With an upgrade, you have to enter the upgrade serial number plus the earlier version qualifying serial number - people often lose the previous version serial number.

After I looked at found that the save location was in the users AppData\Adobe\Premiere\6.0 folder (which was empty). I would first like to know why by default did it store the saves in the AppData folder? Why was the folder over written after the update?

It's not a separate program, it's automatically installed alongside the other CC apps which need it (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc).

This folder is probably treated as a program to run at startup.
So you will have to look at the places where such programs are referenced.
For instance, you may have a shortcut to that folder in your Start Menu > Startup.
Or it may be in the Registry.
Click on Start > Execute, the type msconfig and click OK.
This will show you in the Startup tab all the programs launched at startup.
