Why is the icon now RED?

The iTunes Icon at bottom of screen has turned RED, WHY??? Cannot proceed (Error13001) Do not know what this is or how to fix it. Hoping for help

Hi,
Just a very quick question:
Why are website icons now removed when you clear the history in Safari?
I have noticed this in the current Lion (and Mountain Lion) versions, this happens, when in previous versions they remained after clearing the history.
Is there any way to change this?

Search term "Clear History".
"Clearing your history also empties caches, removes website icons, and clears the list of recent searches. Website icons are small graphics that help identify sites on the Internet. You see them in the address and search field, the bookmarks list, and other places. You can see your recent searches by clicking the magnifying glass at the left end of the address and search field when it’s empty".
That is how clearing history works in Safari 6.
There is no way change it.

Please follow the mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename it to OOBE.old
2. Enable root account: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 and log on to root
3. Disable any security software if installed on Mac
4.Delete opm.db file located at :MAC : ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
(opm.db file is present in your user library.This library is hidden from MAC 10.7 onwards.
So in order to locate that,
Click on Go at the top
Select Go to folder
type ~/library/
This will take you to the library folder and then you can locate opm.db file at Application Support/Adobe)
5. Download CC desktop from www.creative.adobe.com and try to install it. Incase you are not successfull then please Check the Activity Monitor and see if AAM process is running, if yes then try to kill the process.opm.db file needs to be deleted in order to process further. WIN 7 and 8 (64 bit):
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Relaunch the Browser
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Sign in with Adobe ID and password and download CC desktop app.

Why is the login screen Red?

My login screen (where you select your profile and enter your password screen when you first turn the computer on) is now red all the time.
I can't remember what image it was before, but it's for sure not a Red screen. Everything still function, but just not sure why it's Red.
I recently used Time Machine to restore a backup, does that have anything to do with it?
This is what i mean. And I don't know how to flip this image around!

I have tried downloading firefox but the icon now has a 'no entry' sign over the firefox icon and it won't open. whats wrong!!!

I have been using firefox and was recently prompted to upgrade to a new firefox. I followed the instructions and dragged the icon into my apps folder. It had a 'no entry' sign on top of it which I didn't really understand. Now it won't start up and gives me a message saying 'You cannot open the application “Firefox” because it is not supported on this architecture'.
Can you help?

Why is the icon for syncing still active after disconnecting?

My phone got stuck on step 6 when I updated and backed up my files during iOS 7 upgrade. I tried to cancel and start over but it was still stuck on trying to transfer music. As far as I can tell, I still have all the music I want on my phone. The icon to disconnect is still active on my home screen. Why does it keep doing that? Is it an indication it's not finished sync in or that it's always syncing through a wi-fi connection? I'm already on the iOS 7 platform.

So, I just purchased, apple TV and the latest Mountain Lion 10.8.5. I can mirror my IPad and Iphone with no problems, so why is the icon not showing up on my top bar like all the youtube tutorials?

I assume that you did not check before buying, if you had you would have seen that your Mac is too old for Airplay Mirroring to work:

Why are the icons no longer on tabs?

In previous versions of Firefox the icon from the website, e.g. eBay, Craigslist, Amazon, Gmail, and others, would show up on the left side of the tabs. Now it will show the icons for one or two of these websites but the rest will be like blank document icons - white rectangles with tiny turned down upper right corners.

I have seen this response of yours in multiple threads on this topic and I just wanted to let you know that this is not a fix for this problem. It simply does not work. A full restoration of the iPod works, however that is an unacceptable fix due to the loss of data this will cause with many apps, such as Awesome Files. Restorations or setting up the device as new does not restore files contained in these types of Apps. Removing each app one at a time just by unchecking them in iTunes, then resynching, then adding the app and synching again does fix the problem temporarily, but this work around also fails to replace files and data within the apps that you remove and add back. I don't know why, but it appears to me that any apps which are listed in iTunes under File Sharing, will lose all of the data if you ever remove them in any way.
I am seriously tired of this problem and will continue to scoure the internet for a solution. I think this is going to actually require a patch to the iOS.

I used a retail disk to instll Tiger.
I did disconnect all peripherals before the instillation except for the keyboard and monitor, Apple 23" HD flat panel.
I rand Disk repair and repaired disk permissions from this disk.
I tried disableing Magic Mouse.
I looked at finder crash and crashing and found some info on deleting preferences in the library and tried deleting the ones mentioned.
I thought running DiskWarrior v 3.03 was helping but I was mistaken. DW did stop the window labelled Computer and showing my HD and network from coming up whenever the other items blinked.
Nothing helped.
Any other suggestions would be welcome.

The icons on the top bar on my Mid 2010 MBP (OSX 10.10.3) keeps disappearing for no apparent reason. I don't believe it is having any effect on my MBP's Performance, but it is just very annoying.
