Why is the Image Verification display blank when I try to comment?

Suddenly the IV window is blank when I try to comment on my blog (using firefox). If I write a comment, then enter gibberish into the IV confirmation field it returns a "no match" message (well sure, it would) but then this next time the IV image is normal and things proceed as they should and the message goes through normally.
But it always takes two tries now, the first being used up trying to "match" to a non-existant IV image.
The little icon next to the IV image field is "broken" in two on the first try also, then is whole on the second try, after the first failure.
Evey time now it's this way, and just started today.

I just checked again this time connecting via Safari and got the same thing happening, only there is a "?" in the field where the Verification Image should be instead of the "broken page" symbol in Firefox.
On the second try, after the "no match" error message, the verification image appears normally and it all works perfectly. It's like it has to be "nudged" into remembering how to work the way it should.
I cleared the cache in firefox to no effect.
The only thing I did prior to this happening was to change some page names in the website, which changed the navbar obviously, but it works fine as does everything else. What I did was change the page name "Blog" to "blog" to get consistency in the capitalization in the navbar. This changed the direct URL for the blog page, naturally, but that's not been a problem except for a few users who had to re-bookmark it to get there directly. Don't know yet if other users are having the same issue, but several comments have appeared without any feedback of a problem.
I have iLife11 on its way to me and plan to upgrade to iWeb 3 when it gets here. Any hope that will straighten it out? (Yeah, I'm backed up with time machine, I read that post upthread about losing the whole enchilada.)
The site appearance is fine as published, the blog works except for that one annoying and new little bug in posting comments online.
I have no clue where to even begin looking at this point.
If it was a Chevy, I could fix it.

It's no good posting the address of a picture on your computer (file://) - we can't see it and in any case posting picture URLs doesn't work well. You should use the camera icon in the toolbar of the composing field to post the image (which must be .jpg or .png) to the forum.
You should be able to download iTunes from here:

Why does the selector label turn red when i try to change it?

I need 6 cases in the case structure. When i try to change the default True label to Zero, I see that it turn red. why is that? and how do i prevent that?

...or you just created it and the default selector type is boolean. As Dennis said wire a number to it and all will be well with the world.
If you are going to have multiple cases, do you know how to define ranges in the labels? That can be very helpful.

Why is the layers panel greyed out when I try to use PSE9 as my external editor?

All outputs from the SCXI module are measured in differential mode. You can still mix differential and single ended measurements (if you use the remaining channels of your daq board).
The easiest way to mix modes is with virtual channels. All SCXI analog input channels will be differential, while you can make other virtual channels differential or single ended. If you don't want to use virtual channels, you can use AI Hardware Config in LabVIEW to change the mode.

Why does the letter P show up when i try to record audio into Logic Pro and no audio is audible ?!

Can anyone pleaes help as I have occured this problem today and sent hours trying to fix it and not had any luck !?!?
I always record in audio by press "R" on the channel strip but today for some odd reason the letter "P" shows up and no audio is audiable ?
Can anyone tell me what's going on ............!?!?

This is because you have Punch on the fly enabled under Options (top menu)>Audio>Punch on the Fly.... signified by the letter P instead of the letter R

Why does the sum function not work when I try to add a column of decimal numbers? The value is always returned as 0. No problem with whole numbers but decimals do not work!

just bought a MacBook Air and using Numbers to make a spreadsheet for financial purposes. The sum function is working ok for whole numbers but when I try to sum a column of 2 decimal place numbers the result always comes back as 0. Can anyone help?

I suspect that your 2 decimal place numbers are formatted as text. Change the format of the column to currency and see it that works.

Why is the image on screen smaller when I insert a clip from a friend, into my short movie?

I'm editing a short piece in CS6 using some footage I filmed, and I'd like to insert a clip that someone has sent me. When I do this, it shows up in the playback screen at half the size of the footage I've filmed. I'm new to this so not sure what the problem is. I can see that it's 25fps, whereas mine is 50fps. Is that the reason? And how do I resolve it? Thanks in advance.

That is the problem, when one has to apply too much Scaling (whether from the Effects>Motion>Scale, or Scale to Frame Size. It's the nature of the beast, when trying to use lower-rez footage in a higher-rez Project/Sequence.
There are some 3rd party up-rezzing programs, but how well they work, will likely depend on how critical the user is, and also the degree of up-rezzing (Scale) is applied. If the difference is great, they will probably not be adequately helpful. Any hope of re-shooting at a resolution that matches your Sequence, and other footage?

Why are the images in movement ok when I render as an AVI and not ok when I render as an MOV?

I need to create a video (mix of images and music) with the following settings:
Quicktime format
720x576 / 25fps (PAL standard)
Video Codec: JPEG 2000 Animation uncompressed
I created the sequence as:
DV PAL and the preview mode is as Microsoft AVI
I am rendering as MOV JPEG with maximum render quality and frame blending option checked
Not sure what is going wrong. Please help!

Is it correct to assume that you are Keyframing the Fixed Effects>Motion>Position (Pan), and possibly Motion>Scale (Zoom)?
If so, what is happening to that animation, with the MOV export?

Why does the picture always zoom in when I try to set one for my lock screen or background?

When I chose a picture for my lock screen wallpaper it automatically zooms in on the picture. I cannot zoom out because it will not let me. I've tried different sites, reseting and I cant make any major adjustments without losing all my pictures, videos, ect. Is there something in the settings that needs to be changed or is this just a bug that Apple needs to work out?

On the Home screen, double-tap with three fingers to exit zoom.
Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility and make sure Zoom is turned Off.

Why does the App Store app crash when I try to use Genius?

Every time I open the App Store and tap the Genius tab, it starts to load, shows the categories button and then crashes to the home screen. What can I do to fix this? The iPod touch 5th Gen I use is brand new (Only 4 days old).

Why is the input mode greyed out when I try to create a virtual channel for my 1102?

I have set up a virtual channel for my SCXI-1102, and the input mode is greyed out with it set to "differential". I have already skimmed this forum for answers, and I have checked to verify that the mode slot under the AI tab for my MIO-E series card is set to nonreferenced single-ended mode. I then created a virtual channel with the device slot under the hardware column set to Dev1_SC1_MD1CXI-1102. At this point, as already stated, the input mode goes grey while set to differential. What's going on?

But would it not give me an error message if it was something like that? First thing I did was to try another port but the result was the same.
Also, my itunes shows my ipod as connected and the entire contents are visible there and accurate. Could it still do that with a faulty cable?
