Why is the last part of the Word Press install not working?

I am installing Word Press to work in Dreamweaver. I have installed MAMP and everything is working fine, I assume. The location of the files are /applications/MAMP/htdocs/wp-content/themes/twentyten.
I have installed PHP/MySql on my machine and have set up the wordpress database as instructed. The last part of the process has me bogged down. In following step one of the process, I get a blank screen. Here's the url: http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php and the instructions to complete the process.
With the WordPress files copied to the correct location in the htdocs folder, the web server installed, and a database created, open a browser and browse to http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php.
A screen telling you to create a configuration file will appear. Click the Create a Configuration File button.
Click the Let’s Go button to go to a page that allows you to enter your database information.
Type your database name, wordpress.
Type your MySQL user name and password (usually the user name and password are both admin, unless you changed them in the database).
For the Database Host type localhost.
Click Submit

I'm stuck installing virtualhosts in DW and using Wordpress templates, but I may be a few steps further than you are, so I'll try to help. I'm also using Windows, so who knows?
I'm assuming you are not using a virtual host, just a local host; therefore, I went to the section that has instructions for the steps you are on in David Powers' "Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 with PHP: Training from the Source" and right after he has you launch the browser and open "wordpress/wp-admin/install.php" in "your [site name here] site." He goes on to write:
The URL depends on how you set up your testing environment:
Virutal host: http://[site name here]/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
Localhost: http://localhost/[site name here]/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
NOTE: if you are using the MAMP default ports on a Mac, add :8888 after [site name here] for a virual host, or after a localhost.
So perhaps that's what you're missing, I really don't know.

How to get only the last part of the URL in the doGet() method?

In the doGet() method is there a way to check what URL it was called from ? For example the URL was: http://localhost:8080/myproject/jsp/randomPhrase.php (the php here is purely for misleading purposes - it's all Java really). in the doGet() method I would like to get the "randomPhrase" part of the URL only - to determine where to redirect the user. How can I do that?

As it seems to me the part of the URL you're looking fo,r corresponds actually to the name of the servlet, so why don't you just call the getServletName method?

CS6 Keeps crashing on the last part of the render

I get four windows to popup at the very end of any render. These two and another two telling me that this is the last chance to save my work. I have no idea what is wrong. I have tried reinstalling and obviously restarting. I have fine specs for running AE since I have used AE successfully in the past on this computer. I've turned multiprocessing and disk cache on and off. Please help.

SBS 2011 GPO for changing the default save location for Word/Excel 2013 not working

So this is a strange one. I've got an SBS 2011 server that's the only domain controller in the org. I've created a GPO to change the default save location for Excel 2013 and Word 2013 using the Office 2013 ADMX files which were installed to the PolicyDefinitions
folder.
The GPO (U-Office2013 Default Save Location) only contains:
1. User Configuration - Microsoft Excel 2013/Excel Options/Save - Default file location - Enabled - Z:\
2. User Configuration - Microsoft Word 2013/Word Options/Advanced/File Locations - Default file location - Enabled - Z:\
The GPO is linked at the OU that contains my users for my SBS organization.
When I do a gpupdate /force on a windows 7 system with office2013 installed, and then run a gpresult/rsop, the policy appears to be applied successfully as it lists my GPO under the Applied GPOs list on the workstation:

U-Office2013 Default Save Location domain.local/SBSusers AD (6), Sysvol (6)
In the gpresult report, the applied settings appear under:

The strange thing is that in my test environment running 2008R2 server and Win7 with Office 2013 and identical settings the default save location is applied and works as expected.
Any ideas?
I've already tried re-installing the ADMX templates and re-created the GPO's several times.
I should also note that other GPO's on the SBS2011 server such as the folder redirection GPO work as expected on the same windows 7 system. It just appears to be an issue with the default save location in office2013 and other Office 2013 related GPOs which
utilize the recently added ADMX template that don't seem to be working for me.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried several different user accounts (all have local admin privileges to the workstation) with the same issue. The default save path does not get applied from the GPO to any of the users i've tried. Here's the steps I took
per your suggestion:
1. log on as a user who has never logged onto the workstation before.
2. run gpupdate /force (entered y for yes when prompted to log off).
3. Log back in as the user and open Office and check the default save path. It has not been changed to match the GPO setting.
4. Check rsop to see if the policy was applied. Rsop states the gpo was applied successfully.
I have attached the gpsvc.log file from a the session described above. The GPO Guid in question is: {DC3C93EC-7C28-48E9-BA38-FCA1E275A207}. Its common name is: U-Word 2013 Default Save Location. It's only setting is:

Importing mp3 into my itunes skips last parts of the names

when I upload my mp3 or aac files into itunes it skips the last parts of the lines, when a song has a long name I have to retype the whole song, kind of annoying.
is there a solution?
i think it is a problem within itunes because the song name (the end part) is being removed only when I arrange the songs and give them a albumname or another name

iTunes>edit>preferences>advanced>importing tab, the box that states "retrieve CD track names from the internet" must be checked, so iTunes can connect with CDDB to look up the information for the CD you are trying to import.

Elements 9 Projects plays fine on computer however when burned to a DVD it drops the last part

years. I have now upgraded to Elements 9. I am having an odd problem with a project that I am working on. Everything seems to be OK on the EDIT
and on the DVD PREVIEW mode ; However when burned to a DVD, I am loosing the last part of the project, and the laat scene button does not take me to the correct scene, It takes me to the one just BRFORE it. When the burning process is done, it shows that it all went well. No error messages. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what is causing this?

The theme/background (AWESOME futuristic space scene) shown in the last part of "Getting Started video available for download?

In the last part of the video "Getting Started" right after I downloaded Firefox 4, there was a background scene of an awesome page that showed some futuristic space scene that has the mozilla theme (fox) in the picture. I would like to know if it is available for download and/or it's name. I searched through the themes, but they don't show enough of the theme to actually see what the background would be once downloaded. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

UITextView doesn't display the first part of the text

I am having a trouble with UITextView.
When a text view is loaded for the first time after my app is launched (the text view is created and text is filled from saved data), the text view displays from the first letter of the text.
But once the text view becomes first responder, then disappers by pressing back button on a navigation bar, and come back to the text view again by using a control on the previous view (a button for instance), the text view always displays the last part of the text.
This happens after the text view becomes first responder. What is changed before and after the text view becomes first responder? And how can I avoid this to display the first letter in the text view always when it appears?
I tried resignFirstResponder, selectedRange, and scrollRangeToVisible: in viewWill/DidAppear/Disappear but all of them didn't work.

There are two views, home view and text view, and UITextView is in the text view. The first time the UITextView appears (slides in from the home view), it looks like:

Suppose the text starts at Test[1] and ends at Test[200], and just the first 50 are visible within the size of the UITextView.
Once I tap on the UITextView, keyboard appears and UITextView becomes first responder (editable). Then I go back to the home view using back button on the navigation bar.
Then again I move back to the text view from the home view,. This time it looks like:
Test[189] Test[190] Test[191] Test[192]
Test[193] Test[194] Test[195] Test[196]
Test[197] Test[198] Test[199] Test[200]
I would like to display the text from Test[1] whenever the view appears. If the UITextView hasn't become first responder, this doesn't happen and the text starts from Test[1] when it appears. But once the UITextView becomes first responder, the UITextView always displays Test[200] at the bottom of the view when it appears.
I am not sure but it looks as though some internal state of UITextView changes when it becomes first responder, but isn't reset even after it resigns first responder.

Move the Safari app from the Desktop to the Applications folder.
Restart your Mac.
That's why you see this:
When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.
After your restart your Mac, click the Apple  menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...

My iPod touch 4th gen. Is saying that it is charging but the green part on the battery, when it's is plugged up, is not going up. Why?

Ok so I just had bought a new iPod touch 4th generation from an apple store just at the end of last year and until now, it has been working awesome! But just today, I have it plugged up into a wall outlet and it says it was charging for a while but I kept an eye on it and every time I looked at the screen, I could tell the life of the battery had not gone up at all. I have tried resetting it by pressing the home and lock buttons but when I turn it back on and plug it in, the green part of the battery still has not gone up while it has been plugged up for at least an hour ! Do it need to take it to the apple store and ask them why it is doing this or can I do something about it that will actually make it charge? It is worrying me and I would like for the problem to be fixed as soon as possible.

Z Tcode doesn't write the last part of program

I have a program in a transaction code, and the last part, must be write:
Send it to the world

      WRITE 'Email Sent Successfully'.
    ENDIF.
    COMMIT WORK.

ENDTRY.
If I execute only the program, the write works correctly.
But if I execute the tcode (X) with the program, no write is working.
Someone knows about it??? Why is working if you execute the program and not when you execute the transaction??

Its simple. While creating transaction code in SE93, u might have selected radio buton Program and screen (dialog transaction)
It should be 2nd option Program and selection screen (report transaction)
Create another transaction code selecting radio buton Program and selection screen (report transaction) and run the transaction code. It will work
