Sorry, but as far as I know, none of AirPorts ever had a "red" status light. Also check out this Apple Support article written specifically on the status light for the AirPort Express Base Station (AX),

Thank you for the information. I did what you said but it is still not working. My apple box works with my wifi so I think the wife was disconnected and I can't figure out where to go to set up the wifi pass word for the apple box. Any hits would be appreciated if not my next step is to ship back the box to apple.

So it's the little thin ipod with no screen...that has the usb thing and the landyard. Whenever I try restoring it it tries to restore and then a message pops up. There is an error that reads "The ipod cannot be restored. An unknown error has ocurred (1442)". The lights blink orange and green simultaneously...and it just won't restore. help?. I have literally tried restoring it like 10 times and nothing happens. When i connect headphones it does not hear and that little light think happens....which i had never seen happen before. I need to fix it. ....please help....if i take it to an apple store....will it cost alot to fix that?

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:
the mouse and printed are plugged into the keyboard: i have tried to move, these around, and have even tried just the mouse, printer and SD-USB-M3, but still the same problem

I tried to reset and the light blinks but nothing happens after that. It won't allow me to move the cursor on the home screen. Any suggestions?
Unplug the device from power and plug it back in.
If it still fails to respond properly, connect it to a computer via microUSB and restore via iTunes. -

Why does the light on my battery charger cable change from green to orange? The battery continues to accept a charge when light turns orange.
Green = not charging.
Orange = charging.
Note that if your laptop is pulling enough power (using CPU and GPU heavily) the light will turn green because the power adapter cannot provide enough power to charge your batteries in addition to keeping the system going.
In fact, you can drain your batteries even with the adapter plugged in with the 17 inch Macbook Pro if you push it hard enough, although I have not noticed this problem with my Retina Macbook Pro. -
After updating my apple tv last night, it has stopped working. The light blinks but there is no input to the tv. I have reset it multiple times, have unplugged it, and it still doesn't work. What can I do?

Yes if your model MBP has a removable battery. If it does not:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

What does it mean when I plug in my ipod shuffle to the USB Port, and the light repeatedly blinks orange?
I'm posting this so that some folks might be able to figure out the Orange Blinking issue, Orange and Green Blinking issue, or iPod Shuffle won't play issues. I had the first generation Shuffle and all of a sudden (it seemed) it would only play one or two songs even though I saw muliple songs listed in iTunes. I did the 5 Rs many times and nothing really worked. I thought I had just dropped the thing or damaged it so I bought the second gen shuffle. Well, the same thing happened so I figured it had to be something with my computer (I had downloaded the latest iTunes software). Lo and behold, since I was using a work laptop, they had installed encryption software between the time my shuffle worked and when it starting acting up. Apparently, the Credant Encryption software was encrypting the songs during the copy process out to the USB port. It seems like it should of dawned on me prior to all the work I put into it but I figured if it happened to me it might happen to someone else. Good luck!!

I have an iBook G3 600 running Tiger. I have a battery that won't charge, and when the button is pressed, only one light goes on, and it blinks. That means it's toast. No mystery.
But I have another one, an Apple brand also, that charges properly, but when the button is pressed, all four lights go on and blink. What does that signify? (I also have one that charges and behaves as expected, and Newer Technology one that is fine.)All four lights lighting up is simply an indication that it is fully charged. I'm not sure about the flashing, though. They should just remain lit for a few seconds after pressing the test button.
