Why is the location info so inaccurate

When adding location information to titles for video clips or photos in iMovie for iOS5 the location is very inaccurate... Usually displaying only the nearest airport or major city closest to where the clip or photo was taken... More accurate information is displayed in other apps for the same clips & photos... Is there a way to have iMovie display this more accurate location information?

I know the location info is rubbish.
I tend to manually edit (tap the wording on the world map) to what I want it to say.

When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.

What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

Why does the "more info" of "Get info" get erased after the first time I look at it, and how can I get it back?

When I download a graphic, photo, or PDF, I can get information about it, including size and the web address of the download, using Get info. But in Mountain Lion, after I look at a file once, this information disappears. This wasn't true of Snow Leopard, though I can't remember whether it was true of Lion. In any case, it seems like a bug. Is there a way to recover this information?

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??

Why is the location services arrow constantly on for setting time zone on iOS 5.1?

I have updated to iOS 5.1 OTA (Over The Air, not by connecting to iTunes and updating) on my iPhone 4S and the purple location services arrow is constantly on in the status bar when setting time zone and automatic update of date and time are turned on simultaneously. I had this problem prior to the update, but I understand that not everyone has this issue as my friend has these two settings on and doesn't have the problem. I have tried restoring and all that (obviously), but not restoring and setting up as new.
Somebody please help because it's an obvious fault in the system if nothing else. I have heard somebody else complain about this and the had a 32 GB 4S the same as me. I don't really see why memory should matter but my friend who doesn't have the problem has a 16GB 4S.
Also, I am not in an area that is between time zones when this is happening.

If it is turned on I can't be sure if anything else is using my location (at a glance) since the arrow is constantly showing. I am aware that this function will use battery power, maybe constantly, but the arrow shouldn't be constantly showing. If it should, then why doesn't my friends iPhone show it? Either way there is a problem here.

Why is the new email count inaccurate?

Mail is not accurately reporting how many new emails are available.
For example, I can read all of my new email, and it will still report that I have unread emails. Also, if I do have unread emails, it won't display that is the case. I notice the issue the most with gmail. Why does mail seems to continue to have issues with gmail?

Rebuild your Mailboxes and the count will probably be correct. I have over 300 Mailboxes and had to Rebuild them all. Once done, the problem went away and has not resurfaced during the last 2 months.

Why is the word count function inaccurate in tables?

Why, when using tables in pages the word count function gives a total that is double the amount of words in the table? This has been a problem with Pages for sometime now. Additionally, is there a quick way of highlighting all the words in the table to give a word count total, similar to highlighting a paragraph, sentence or just a few words?

Pages v5.2.2 (and probably 5.5) will total all the words in the body of a document (including those in a table) accurately in my experience. Since the Pages v5 family does not permit non-contiguous text selection, your only other way to count just words within the table is from the Statistics component of the free WordService Services package. Just select the table, and then from the Services menu, choose Statistics. The word count matches the table contents.
Unfortunately, the AppleScript dictionary for the Pages v5 family excludes any means to address words or characters within cells. The fact that Pages is counting words in the table, is due to native programming, and not AppleScript.

In window.open i am trying to hide the location info in the address bar. However each time i see the URL of target page which gets open in the new window in the location bar.

Why does the location bar only perform searches, even typing about:config just returns a google search for "about:config"

My location bar will only perform web searches and no longer takes the browser directly to web address entered manually. for example typing "about:config" returns the results of a google search for "about:config", typing "http://www.gawker.com" does not take me to gawkers website but rather returns google search results for "http://www.gawker.com".

Or maybe your ISP is doing the redirect, but that is doubtful since you're getting two different redirect addresses (unless you are using two different ISP's).

Why does the location always read "go to a website" instead of the actual address?

If I were to go to www.amazon.com, why doesn't it show as this in the navigation bar? It always reads as "go to a website." I would like it show the exact http address like it always did.

Why is the Location Bar Demoting my Popular Web Sites?

I have been noticing lately that I have certain websites that I visit on a regular basis, some more often than others. Lately (over the past few releases) I have been noticing that these websites are getting moved to the way down the list of shown results. I have a website that I visit multiple times a day get pushed below the level of websites that I visit perhaps once a week. It used to be that if I went to that website multiple times (about 3-5 times) I could push it back up in the rankings. I tried to do this by going to that site over 40 times (alternating between it ans some other random page) and it does not move up the rankings. It is not a big problem, but surely annoying when I have to go hunting for the sites that I regularly visit.

Perhaps I need to add some clarity to this. The websites that I am visiting are based on a set that I frequent. This order was stable for at least 6-8 months, but in the last two months it has started to move the sited that I visit the bottom of the list. In other words, the behavior has changed, but the reason is not known. No different addons have been installed. I have noticed this behavior not only on one computer, but multiple computers. Some of these are synched and others not, though as I understand it, the synch feature should not change the results of this.

Why is the Plugin Check function inaccurate?

If I have updated the plugins according to what is required or stated by the Plugin Check, the plugins still appear as 'outdated' (yellow or red depending on severity) when they're not?
I don't know what to do as all this does is to contradict everything by making me feel I'm vulnerable to malware attack.
I think there's some disparity between the version I originally had (in this case Adobe Flash and Quicktime Player) which I updated, and the very latest version I installed which is perhaps even higher than what is registered with the Plugin Check itself. In this case the Plugin Check databases would need to be updated again.
Please can you establish what I may be doing wrong here.

That is a bug with blocklisting plugins that has been fixed.<br />
You can correct this issue by forcing the file blocklist.xml to update or wait until Firefox updates the file.<br />
That update will remove the severity="0" flags in the file that cause the problem.
