Why is the music on my iPhone corrupted?
I can no longer play music on my iPhone. It sounds slurred and out of sync (it's worse than a poor digital reception). It's not only ITunes. I also use TuneIn Radio app and the music on that sounds the same.
I don't think I've made any changes to my phone. Does anyone know what has caused this and how do I fix it?!
I have this problem too. I just finished organizing my musc the way I want it on my iMac and now it's all messed up on my iPhone and iPad. I have a lot of artists now that weren't there before such as "Kaskade feat. Dragonite" instead of just "Kaskade" like it is on my iMac. The album artist for these songs are all "Kaskade" so they should all fall under the same artist even though the individual songs have different artists. I also have a lot of artists who's albums are all mushed together. So instead of having three albums from Lana Del Ray with 10 or so songs each, I have one album containing all of her songs.

As topic, I'm not really sure why. On my iPhone the music take up 11.3 Gb but in iTunes it is 10.34 Gb.
I found out that my iTunes Media folder is a few gigs bigger than in iTunes.

My iPhone 5s's (which is only 3 days old) music will unexpectedly stop in the middle of playback. Upon examination of the screen, the iTunes app is still playing the music, but there is no volume. The only way to rectify this is to unplug the headphones and the re-plug them back in; which would normally stop the music, but not in this case. It simple restores the volume and continues to play.
Hard to offer an explanation, but a reboot may solve your problem: Press and hold BOTH the home and power butons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings by a reboot.

Why is the music on my iPhone 4S grey and not playable?
I received a new iPhone 4S and have synced the iTunes library. Many of the songs on the iPhone are greyed when selecting and will not play. When I go to purchased songs in the iTunes store on the iPhone, it says the songs have already been downloaded. What gives? Do I need to re-sync the phone? Is there not a way to remove the songs from the phone and resync/download from the iTunes cloud?

This is my solution to the grey songs, cant buy from iTunes app or App Store, and syncing problems.
im just going to say it how it is and no robot instructions. it takes any where from 30 minutes to 1-2 hours depending on how much stuff is on your iPhone. so here is how i fixed mine
1. Back up your iPhone whatever device you have
2. Disconnect from iTunes and unplug your Apple device
3. NOTE:NOT FROM YOUR COMPUTER, BUT go into the
Settings app>General>Restore: Erase All Content and Settings
4. Let it Restart and you will be prompted with the ios 5 Setup screen and continue setting up UNTIL you get to the part where it asks you about RESTORING from a back up via iTunes, iCloud, or setup as a new iPhone.
5. select the iTunes option. connect to iTunes and right click your iPhone from the devices list and select "Restore from Backup..."
6. select the backup you did just a few ago.
7. let it backup, it may take a while from 10 minutes to 30. it took me 20 (so find something to do like watch a tv show or something. go on youtube and watch a video or two to pass the time)
8. once restored, it will come up on the device list on iTunes. ONLY click the iPhone DO NOT click the music on the iPhone. click sync if it isn't already.
9. after it is done, THEN click the music on the drop down selection on your iPhone. all the previous music that was gray/grey, should be black like normal, if not then press sync and then go back to music.
this worked for me so hopefully it will work for you.
this grey song issue ****** me off so much i wanted to throw my iPhone 4S at the wall and see all the glass shatter into a million pieces. nasdlfhsdfsdjfnl gahhh. everything is working like a charm now so you're welcome if this worked.

All of your media should be in iTunes already.
If it is not and was purchased from iTunes, right click on the device and select Transfer Purchases.

Gettingonmynerves, in my honest opinion, you will be gettingabsolutelynowhere in your attemp to edit AVCHD files natively with PE using a Laptop.
Your system is seriously underpowered for the task at hand.
Most folks would recommend at least a Quad Core desktop, tuned for perfomance.
What you might try is to convert the AVCHD to traditional HDV via this link:

This may buy you some relief, but even with the convert, I think it will still be a challenge to edit these formats on a laptop.
You could also try to down convert the video via the Camera, if that feature is available. I don't have or use a High Def Camera at this time so I can't help much with the Camera possibilities.
Again it's not an issue with the laptop itself, it probably works great for it's intended use, unfortunately it is not up to the task, performance wise, for editing the ACVHD or High Def formats with PE...

Why would you be afraid you will lose your new music?
Ideally you should be connecting your device to your computer to transfer purchases made on the device to the computer and the iTunes library on a regular basis. Failure to do this puts you at risk of losing those purchases (and the money you spent on them) in the event your device fails, is lost, or stolen. -

If "Other" is more than about 1.5 gigabytes, that would be considered a lot of space. That is often caused by corrupt app(s).
You can shrink "Other" by restoring your iPhone using iTunes. Plug your iPhone in, let it sync, then choose "Restore" from your iPhone's summary page in iTunes. You can try restoring from the backup, but that may not work. If not, restore as new and selectively sync apps back. -

It won't automatically download onto your iPad. If you have subscribed to iTunes Match, and it's turned 'on' on the Mini, then you should be able to stream or download all of your iTunes purchased and Match uploaded music on it. Otherwise you will either need to sync it from your computer's iTunes or, if you are in a country where you can re-download music, then you might be able to do that.
When did it download it on your other iPad e.g. do your have iTunes Match, did you already have 'automatic downloads' turned 'on' on the iPad when you bought music on your iPhone ? -

You would have to create the ringtones.
Google will find several way to do this.
You cannot buy ready made ringtones from your computer. -
The music on my iPhone is WRONG, plays a different song when I click another one.
I recently plugged in my iPhone 4S to sync music with my relatively new Macbook Air. I had a song that someone had sent to me (a mix, not from iTunes) that I wanted to add to my phone. When I (safely) unconnected my phone and checked it, I found that a playlist (with only 2 songs) I had created earlier had disappeared. I then checked another playlist (3 songs),the one that had my new song in it, and when I clicked play, it played the 2 songs from the playlist that had disappeared. Now, ALL my music is mixed up. It seems like music is one song behind the cover art but even when I click on the same song three times, it plays three different songs, none of which are the one I clicked. WHAT IS GOING ON??? I tried to resync it by taking all the music off my iPhone and then readding it but the same problem occurs. I even tried adding all my music manually and nothing changes. The music on my iTunes on my Macbook is fine. All my updates are done on both devices. PLEASE HELP!! Will be going in to the apple store this weekend if I can't fix it.
ALSO, if a song plays to the end, it stops, even though it isn't on repeat and there are songs after it. It just gets to the end and freezes and I have to manually click the arrow to go to the next song.Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
