Why is the newest version of Flash saying that it's out of date?
I downloaded Flash 11.7.700.169 on my MacBook and now I'm getting messages about being out of date. My operating system is Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I'm using Safari 5.1.8 as my browser. What do I do? I now cannot access things like The Daily Show.
Looking at another post with apparently a similar issue, here is what is showing as my installed plug-ins for Flash.

Which is the lie, the first page or the second web page?
The details are that my first time user impression is that Firefox is a liar, or that the web page is developed by liars; or that the program doesn't function well as it said that my Firefox was out of date, but the link to fix the problem said that is was up to date. So, the only purpose of the statement that it was out of date was to get me to register, and that the company doesn't care what I think about it. I am totally open to another logical explanation. I mean you could give me an illogical explanation based on emotion but I'll just reject it and then uninstall Firefox because, well, that should be obvious. So, if it wasn't a lie, then the second page was a lie.... which is it?If you get a pop-up message asking to update Firefox or plugins then such a message is likely a scam and you should never respond to such an alert to avoid getting infected with malware.
*Only update Firefox via "Help > About" or by downloading and installing Firefox from the Mozilla server and never via a pop-up or link on a web page.
*Plugins should only be updated via the plugin itself or by visiting the home page of the plugin.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Why is the new version of Flash CC can not create swf to Google DPF system?
https://support.google.com/dfp_sb/answer/1382874?hl=en
https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/94230?hl=en
Please help me.
I would be grateful for any help solve the problem.
Regards! There are many people complaining about this in other threads. I found the solution from kglad in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5750996
You can get Flash CC to publish to version 9 player by putting these two files in these locations:
This file: http://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/5510986-147069/Fl ashPlayer9_0.xml
Goes here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CC\Common\Configuration\Players\FlashPlayer9_0.xml
This file: http://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/5510986-147068/pl ayerglobal.swc.zip
Goes here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CC\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0\FP9\playerglobal.swc
You may need to create the FP9 folder.
Restart flash and you should see Player 9 in your publish options. You'll have to find the AS3 clickTag code. -
How on earth can I download the newest version of Flash Player on my Mac, OS X Yosemite?
I have tried approximately 17 times to download Flash, but keep getting stuck at the login page. When I log in to Adobe.com using my ID and password, i'm able to sign in. But when i get to the download phase of the current version of Flash, I'm asked to provide Adobe ID and password again. They are rejected. Beyond frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ElyAndrew, i hope you receive this cuz i can't figure out how to thank you on
the forum. Thank you!! it worked beautifully. Your help is much appreciated.

I downloaded the newest version of this browser Monday or Tuesday, and ever since it replaced my previous version of Firefox, my webpage loading has been like molasses in January, I sit and wait and wait and wait! It's infuriating, this sudden logjam of browsing is pushing me to install Windows Explorer, with all it's humongous security holes! I need to go back to my previous Firefox, but since this new version has erased that one, I don't know if I can.

What's the oldest version of Flash Professional that will run on a Mavericks?
Hi. I have a Mac running OS 10.9.4, Mavericks.
I'm wondering if anyone knows which old versions of Adobe Flash Professional will run on Mavericks.
I owned Flash years ago — around 1999. I stopped usng it a few years later because that version was for PowerPC Macs only and I bought an Intel Mac.
I don't need the scripting features. I'm looking simply to make .swf drawings and maybe some basic animations. But there aren't any real alternatives for Mac.
I recently had to install Windows on my Mac to run a Windows program. So I also downloaded a trial of a Windows program called SwiSH miniMax4 that can create .swf content. It's only $69 and it has most of the features I need.
Except for one feature: a drawing tool that recognizes pressure sensitivity from a graphics tablet. Flash, even in 1999, had a drawing tool (it might have been called a "brush") that let you draw freehand and it recognized pressure sensitivity from a graphics tablet. It made it possible to create drawings that didn't look at all like they were done in a vector tool.
Anyway, I'm thinking of maybe looking for an old version of Flash Professional on ebay. But I don't want to spend a lot of money and I have no idea which versions are compatible with Mavericks.
I'm thinking that the oldest version that will work under Mavericks would be just fine for me, since the version I owned in 1999 had all the features I'm looking for today.
Thanks!
SkyHi Mirskyman,
It is highly unlikely that a person on this forum is using the version of Flash Professional that you have with you. While it is possible that the version you have could probably run on Mavericks, it surely hasn't been tested for the OS. Consider yourself lucky if you find a person here with a similar issue that has solved the problem.
Meanwhile, why don't you give the trial version of Dreamweaver CC a shot? Animation software | Download free Flash Professional CC trial

Popup says that firefox is out of date. update to continue
I get a popup when i am on a videopoker site the says."Firefox is out of date. Please update to continue.
Previously i got a popup that said "Flashplayer is out of date. Please update to continue.
The only info i can provide, since i'm no geek, is a (browser/Ip) address i see on the screen. It says 8.29.133.184/browser/firefox. Looking up that # traces it to "Beyond Hosting LLC.
I have run every malware/scan i can find to eliminate this to no avail. All scans come back clean. Ideas ?Note that you should only update Firefox and plugins via their official web page.<br />
If you click a link on a pop-up then you may end up with installing malware. -
The newest version of Flash Player won't install on my Mac! Plug ins not working now!
Anyone else having this problem???? I downloaded the "latest version" yesteday. Now I can't run Iheart radio/pandora/Jigidi puzzles without it saying it can't because of "plug ins".
I’m seeing a lot of these complaints with this latest update… and Snow Leopard
I made a PDF with illustrated, detailed instructions to resolve this: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf
Use THIS file with those instructions: Flash Player 12.0.0.44 (Mac OS X) -
I have replaced my router from Verizon "Westel 8500" to Apple Air Extreme. Also changed my network provider from Frontier DSL to Comcast (TV Cable) and the issue with fluctuation seams to get a little worst than before. Currently I'm running the newest OS allowed for that particular model. With the older version (2.2.1) I did not have any Wi- Fi fluctuation. My connection is not dropping just the signal, according to the Wi-Fi meter is getting weaker. Please help.
Could you post the output of these commands here?
Step 1:
Command 1: ( In Terminal)
'/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Resources/airport --scan'
Paste the results here.
Step 2:
Now Open console->system.log. Clear the display and Insert Marker.
Command 2: ( In Terminal)
'sudo /usr/libexec/airportd -d '
Now reproduce the wireless issue you see and monitor the system log in Console.
Wait for a few minutes so you see this issue happening.
Then, Turn AirPort off and on a couple times to see if this issue still happens.
Copy paste the system.log here.
Step 3:
Next, when you see this issue happening, hold the option key down and click on the AirPort menu icon and get the RSSI and Transmit rate details and post them here.
Misc things to check:
Make sure your AP settings are good. Stick to standard 11g/11a modes and disable any enhanced modes if your Access Point supports it.
Real Player check- Do you by any chance have Real Player running ? It installs a Download Agent in your Login Items and that is known to create havoc. Try uninstalling this app. if you have it. Also make sure there is no instance of Real Player here -- System Prefereces-Accounts- Login Items. -

Why does the newest version not open to the homepage no matter which way you set it up?
The latest version of Firefox recently installed on my PC. Now, no matter which way I set the home page it does not open to that. I simply get a blank tab. Yes, I have set the page correctly and even told Firefox to open to the home page. It does not work. It will accept the settings, and I have rebooted a few times too. When I click the home icon, it opens the page so I know it is set up correctly.

Any idea

PerPer please use the uninstaller referenced from Control Panel>Programs and Features. During the reinstallation process the base version will be installed followed by any updates.
If the update continues to fail to apply then I would recommend reviewing the installation log files to determine the exact cause. You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Creative Cloud Help / Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC.
I would recommend running the uninstaller first. If you do find any errors within the installation log you are welcome to post those errors to this discussion.
