Why is the order of my playlists different on my iPhone than on my computer or iPod? To clarify, I'm asking about the order of the playlists themselves (should be alpha) and not the order of the songs in the playlist. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1, and a MacBook Pro running 10.7.2.
I beleive when Photo Stream first started it only sent photos to other devices and didn't delete them so you'll have to start fresh. Be aware it can take a little time for the changes to take effect depending on your upload speed of your internet.
I think to start out you'll have to delete all the photos on each device first which will also delete the new ones from the stream. Make an album in iPhoto on your Mac with all the photos in My Photo Stream. Then delete all the photos on Photo Stream on all devices then add all the photos back to My Photo Stream on the Mac.
May I suggest setting up a Shared Photo Stream for this purpose and keep the My Photo Stream for the new photos taken with your devices. Also be aware of the 30 day 1000 photo limits on Photo Stream.

As FCP installs QT Pro as part of the install. And, as there was no QT7 when FCP4 came out,
Is FCP4 "forward compatible," (or however you put it), enough to see the higher version of QT, and not mess with that part of the installation?
Can I safely reinstall FCP4 without causing a problem?

In order to have the account's Sent mailbox synchronized with the server with the Mail.app on your Mac and with the iPhone's Mail application, you must store the account's Sent mailbox on the server with each. The same applies to the account's Drafts and Trash mailboxes.
With store sent messages on the server deselected for the account preferences with the Mail.app on your Mac, create an "On My Mac" location mailbox. At the Mail.app menu bar go to Mailbox and select New Mailbox. Choose On My Mac for the mailbox location - which will be stored locally on your computer's hard drive and enter a name for the mailbox. You can name this mailbox MobileMe Sent. Select OK to create the mailbox, which will be available under "On My Mac" in the Mail.app mailboxes drawer.
Select your MobileMe Sent mailbox. Select a sent message in the mailbox and at the menu bar go to Edit and choose Select All. Follow this - at the Mail.app menu bar go to Message and select Move To and then select the new On My Mac location mailbox in the window provided. This will move all messages from the account's locally stored sent mailbox to the newly created On My Mac location mailbox. When this transfer has been completed, re-select store sent messages on the server for the account preferences.
Now do the same with the newly created On My Mac location mailbox where all sent messages were transferred to. Select a message in the mailbox and at the menu bar go to Edit > Select All. At the menu bar go to Message > Move To and select your MobileMe account's server stored Sent mailbox under Sent in the window provided. This will transfer all messages stored locally on your computer's hard drive from the newly created "On My Mac" location mailbox to the account's server stored Sent mailbox. These messages will no be available when accessing the account with the iPhone's Mail application. -

The playlist "My Top Rated" is in descending order by rating on my computer (songs with the same rating are then sorted by artist) but on my phone they are always in a messed up order. I've tried making new playlists and resynching my phone, but nothing is working.And no, I don't have shuffle on.

Yes, you can use multiple boxes in different places and change their display as needed. But I might caution against doing this as it may add work for both you and anyone else that may take this design and put it into production. I might take a look at why you want to move the boxes around, and maybe find a simpler or more efficient design pattern to follow to get a result you would be happy with. Hope that doesn't sound preachy, you should try it if you want and don't listen to me. Either way, let me know how it goes! -
Why is the font of text fields different from document-text
I am using forms in my pdf.
I am inserting Text-Fields in the pdf-form.
I set the color and size of text as the same as the document text as calibri 9.
1) Why is the font different between the text-field and document content eventhough both are black font of size 9 and of type calibri. The font in the text-field is more gray and blurry. It doesnt look the same as the text in the rest of the document.
2) why do the document-text font options differ from the text-field font options.
One has only sizes with even numbers like 8, 10, 12. The other has odd numbers also. Why does the calibri font have 2 different size ranges for the text-fields and document-text/content.Yes you are correct, it is with the setting of the properties.
Where do i report this then if it is not with the SDK but the manual setting of properties.
Also, how do i alter this ussue with the SDK, what are the commands, does it have to be done only by Javascript? -

I want to keep them in the order of my playlist. How do I do this? I am SO frustrated! Thanks, MelissaMelissa, once you go to the contents page of your device, you will see panels that say: Name, Time, Artist, etc. By clicking on one of these panels, you can change the order according to these criteria. It sounds like your camera is not rotating as expected in the camera app. I want to recommend starting by quitting the running apps on the phone.

I would suggest before restoring from your backup setup the device as new and make sure the camera functions as expected. Then restore from your backup and verify it still works.

Why can't I add playlist on my old iPhone iTunes on my computer? Can add it on my phone manually but I need to do it on the computer.
This is an old iPhone that I am only using as an Ipod. It is an Iphone 3GS and I now have an iPhone 4S.
Any help would be much appreciated!I assume that you mean that you do have an iPhone because messages will not work with any other type of cell phone. You should be able to add your phone number in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at, if your phone number is lited in there, select it and then uncheck your email address and then the iPad will be using the phone number just like the iPhone.
If you phone number is not listed in there, you probably have to sign out/turn off Messages on the phone and the iPad and then start over again on the phone - and then your phone number should be accessible to use on the iPad.

Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID -
I downloaded the latest version of itunes and now my ipod nano won't sync. The sync process appears to lock up on the 2nd song and will not continue to sync. I let it run all night the first time and it never went past the 2nd song. I unchecked the 2nd song so a different song would be 2nd, no benefit; reset my ipod nano; shut down laptop and restarted a different time; shorted the number of songs to sync; all without benefit.
When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

I had my photo stream on and my icloud all set up, i just had the screen replaced and they somehow lost all the photos off my phone, but why wont the photo's reload back on to my iphone now that im connected to wifi again, where are all my photos???
When photos are added to the photo stream album on a device (either due to a new photo having been taken or having been synced from another device using the stream) they remain in the album. However, the syncing process involves copying the photos to the photo stream server where they are kept for a maximum of 30 days, up to 1000 photos. If a device is reset or the stream is turned off or turned back on again (or in your case, the device was repaired), the photos that were on the device's photo stream album are gone and the only ones to appear are those that are currently on the servers (recall the 30 day limit).
If some of your photos are older than 30 days, then they are no longer stored on the cloud and hence are not synced down to the iphone.
Recall, photo stream is just a syncing service, it is not designed as a storage service for photos. Always sync photos to a computer for archiving. -
Why is the thumbnail images placed in different order than the xml?

This same code I have asked about before, and got excelent help, but this is a different problem so I just start a new thread.
This is a code that open a XML file, containing a small list of images, and place them as thumbs on the page.
It kinda work now, but the funny thing is, the order of the thumbs is totally scrambled compared to the xml list, and I can't just see why!
It has something to do whith when the loaders gets transfered via addEventListener to the placePics function, more than that I cant find out!
There may be the better way to put up this code. I just feel putting it up in two nested addEventListeners like this is not the best of practice. But I see no other way here...
