If LR5 in Sweden is similar to other Adobe products the US, the serial number would be on a sticker on the DVD sleeve or a separate card insert in the inner-most box that contained the DVD sleeve. Your pictures do not show any serial number, so you were sold a LR copy without one, somehow.
Especially if your packaging wasn't shrink-wrapped, I'd guess that someone took the original DVD sleeve with the serial number and substituted one without a serial number. -
When I logged into iCloud to check it out, my iCloud mail thing seemed to belong to some stranger. I don't really know what happened.
What do you mean nothing.
If it shows $0.00 then that's nothing, that's zero. If it shows truely nothing then you are not logging in with an account that had store credit. Or not logging in at all.
Click on your name so the triangle appears, then click on Account for more details. -

On the other hand: Did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Please have a look at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html. (Start here: How did you purchase your product?)
The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

I just paid the $19.99, and the app won't install. I have it already on my computer from a free trial a few years ago, but it won't let me continue without a serial number. My email didn't include that
Different licaensing methods, different serial numbers.
You won't be able to register a few year old software with the serial number from today.
Download a current version and install. -

I don't know of there is anyone than can fix this age old Apple problem. Does anyone know how to retrieve apps under an old Apple ID when the email used for that account no longer exists & I can't remember the password? After speaking with Apple Acct. Security, I got the security Q right but my birthday was wrong! They wanted the serial number from my phone that was 3 iPhones ago! Seriously??!!
Any updated way to work around this? No Apple people can correct it.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows 7. I need to re-install it because my computer crashed. I saved the outer box, but I do not see a serial number and it is asking for it when I am trying to install the CD software. I went online, but the only serial number I see is when I registered the Photoshop Elements 2.0.
The serial number will be on the disc case, not the outer box. Find your serial number quickly

Installing Photoshop CS4 from original Disk onto my new Macbook Pro. Serial number accepted but now asks for the serial number of a previous version e.g. CS3 which I no longer keep. How do I resolve ?
Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. I believe that you have an upgrade version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, in this case it will ask for the serial number of the previous qualifying version.

I was referred here by customer service. I have downloaded Photoshop elements 5.0 to a new PC. After accepting the agreement I receive an error message saying "Your Adobe Photoshop Elements user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit." There is no place to enter the serial number.
All your pictures will remain safe even after uninstalling the program. Your pictures are saved to your system in form of catalog present at C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\<your catalog><br />When you reinstall the program you can open this catalog and view all your photos again.

I just purchased a license for LR 5 (received via reseller, DVD in Box) and wanted to use the serial on the downloaded LR5 version through Creative Cloud.
System sais "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If problem persists contact Customer support".
I have tried several times, without success. Internet connection is working.
Thanks for your help.If you have a DVD version then you have to use the serial number that is associated with the DVD version. A Cloud subscription number has no relationship to a DVD serial number.

i got my friend to help not sure if your having the same problem but i had to download stuffit expander from the app store to expand the zip files that you initially download you should be able to open them and enter serial number from there
don't know if that helps theres no where that tells you how to do that so its extremely frustrating..

I bought photoshop elements 11 on disc. Im trying to download it to my MAC via the serial number, says it is invalid. I know its valid, as I've already used this version on my PC. Im on MAC at the moment.
I bought from Amazon. The PC disc works fine on my PC, but when I try to load the MAC version on my iMac, it says the serial number is invalid. It's Elements Version 11 by the way.
