Why is the system so slow in uploading my music to the iCloud...I had 70? songs of 5308 available...now after 2 days it has upload 203 of 4444 songs? ***?
I had 70 songs of my 5308 available when I joined iSlowCloud...now after 2 days it has upload 203 of 4444 songs? ***? It shuts down...it is like going back to dial up. I use at&t DSL as my internet provider. At this rate it will take about 3 weeks if the system stays up. Oh...and when it shuts down or stops...it has to start much of the uploading process of matching again before it starts uploading again. Not sure it is even worth it...honestly? Help?
I wish I could install Mac OS X 10.6.8 but since my computer...(a workhorse mind you) is a G5 dual 2Ghz processor, but NON-INTEL it will not run a version higher than OS X 10.5.8. At the Guiness dek in SF with another problem I was told my G5 computer will outlast the dual intel because they run hot. I wish they would make the higher versions PPC friendly there are many of us still out here ;( I'm suppost to have the faster at&t DSL but it hard to tell...at&t has been jerking with their system trying to get the city to allow them to put in huge boxes all over the city to supply TV. I haven't tried reinstalling iTunes...I will try that...thanks!

Before it used to take like two seconds, now it shows a blue screen and an activity indicator and it takes more than 10 seconds.

PS: As for people who did not update yet, don't do it!Repair 10.6.8 script worked on my iMac and MacBook. I was only having an issue with my printer. I was getting a message in the print dialog saying I was out of toner and the drum was at the end of it's life. The script fixed that issue.
I have no issues with performance before, or after.
Perhaps you should repair permissions and restart.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" with SSD 256 Gb and its almost a brand-new (the 4th time to use the device) a while ago i was trying to connect to my home wireless network it said that the connection is timed out so i clicked the airport sign on the top it said that your airport is not configured then I restarted the system but it didn't restarted it showed the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for more than 10min so I tried the force shutdown by pressing the power button till it switched off I waited for 5min then pressed the power button to start or boot the system and again the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, I waited for more than 20min nothing changed, any solution please?

You have to change the setting in MAX to show all settings instead of just acquisition, then locate the setting. A very specific firmware revision for certain Basler cameras had an issue where the test packet would not be sent for certain packet sizes and certain specific conditions, causing a false report of a test packet failure when a normal acquisition would in fact succeed. However, this was fixed in later firmware revisions and I have never seen a similar issue on any other types of cameras.
Aside from this specific case, if a test packet fails, it generally means an acquisition will as well. Given that Pleora's software can acquire, we can rule out networking topology and hardware, assuming you are using the same packet size as the Pleora software is. The only other thing that would seem a likely candidate would be a software issue like a firewall or some other filter driver that is interefering with IMAQdx receiving the data.

for the first time i want to sync music from the itunes on my desktop to my iPod touch 5th gen. it kept taking forever to back up! is backing up needed? all i wanna do is sync the music and the back up is taking way too long....

I dropped my iPod touch 4 generation on my kitchen tile and it shattered, like chunks of the screen are coming off. But everything works and I’ve had it for a 1 ½ years now. I recently had to restore my Iphone 4s and ever since I cannot double click the home button whilst the phone is locked and change my music. The controls come up and I can adjust the volume but I cannot change the songs. Help needed please!!
Have you guys been able to activate your iphone yet? I bought an iphone 4s from eBay and it worked fine, but the previous user had left some data on it, so last night I used the "erased all content and settings" to restore it to factory setting so I can start fresh and restore my backup. But now I'm stuck at the activation screen (I get the same "the activation server is temporarily unavailable") and can't get it to activate, even if I use my old deactivated AT&T sim card (I'm on straighttalk now).
I might try activating it with an active AT&T sim card from my fiancee's phone when she gets home, so I'll let you know how that works outs.
If it's true that the server is down; anyone know when it will be back up again? Thanks in advance.

My mountain lion OS hangs like windows does and sumtimes have visual glitches like the drop down menu's are half visible. Sometimes it slows down at every point. And its just 2 months old. Please help.
Isolating Issues
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try a restart.
Run Disk Utility/Repair Permissions. Run until it reports no errors. If there is a recurring error, see the article on what permission errors can be ignored.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.
