Why is the wifi working on my mac but not on my other devices?

The mac i have is connected to the wifi and is working just fine, but my other 5 devices are not working with the wifi network that i have with the AirPort and my TimeCapsule. they were working fine the other day and just stared to act up... i already reset the time machine but that didnt fix anything.

Describe the whole network.. how are the airport and tc linked. What mode are they running in?
I would reset the wireless to conform to SMB rules.. which are much more compatible with modern Apple equipment for some reason.. to say nothing of the rest of the world.
Make all names short, no spaces.. pure alphanumeric.. absolutely no apostrophe.. that apple corruption.
Fix and lock the wireless channels. I would set different name for 5ghz to keep everything honest. Stop voodoo auto settings.
Use WPA2 Personal security only.
(SMB name should extend to TC itself ie its network name and the hard disk.. apple used a mixture of names but it should have no spaces.. short.. TC Disk is wrong.. TCDisk is fine. Apple often use spaces where they shouldn't).

Why does the query work in SQL Developer, but not in APEX?

I have a silly question. I have a complicated query, and I tested it successfully with SQL developer, and result is correct. However, when I put it into APEX to generate a report, it always reports no data found. I also know the condition related to "other marks" select list in the where clause part causes this problem. It also looks strange: before I add this condition, everything works OK; after I add this condition, even I do not choose the "other marks" select list, other components do not work neither. My suggestion would be to put some instrumentation into your query and see what values you are using.. Or even simpler take out ALL the where clauses you can until data starts to sho wup and then add them back in one at a time until you find the culprit..
My bet would be on any date comparisons you are doing between page items and database columns..

I-pod touch works on a Mac but not a PC

Please help! My I-pod touch works on a Mac but not a PC. When hooked up to a PC, the device is not recognized in I-tunes message, says I-pod in recovery mode and to restore, after checking update and restore, receive unknown error message (9). Have tried unistaling and reinstalling I-tunes, using different USB ports, creating new user, restarting computer, using different PC, and trying to reset by holding sleep/wake and home buttons all to no avail, very, very frustrated, everything is fine on a Mac!!

I have CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010, version 6.0.0.264.
I was wondering about that one in particular.

Microsoft builds software to run on other companies' hardware, pretty much exclusively if you don't count the long line of failed devices: Zune, Windows phone, and now the Surface.
Apple builds hardware. They support that hardware with their own operating system. It is designed to run only on their very tightly integrated hardware. Trying to write software for the plethora of crap being sold would be a failing proposition and would divert resources away from the great software they provide for their hardware customers.
The hardware and software are very well engineered to provide the best possible experience.
If you want to experience a Mac, buy a Mac.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

IPhone 5 wifi works in one room but not the other.

I have an iPhone 5 and the wifi is unreliable. It works in the room with the router but when I walk down the hall it doesn't work. I'm talking 20 feet away. So frustrating because the phone is almost worthless. Why would it connect but only in such close range? No other devices have this problem. Yes, I've turned the wifi on and off. Yes, I've restarted the router. Yes, I've checked the WEP. It just makes no sense that it would work in one room but not the next room. Help!

I wrote a dashcode widget that works fine on my mac but not in iBooks, what am I doing wrong?
I am trying to create a widget that performs a specific calculation when the user inputs the 2 variables. However when I go to preview it on my iPad, the button that performs the calculation disapears. It is visible in the thumbnail, but once you launch to full size... bye bye...
Help is appreciated. Are buttons not allowed?

That is not correct. What sets the size of the widget when it runs is the canvas size of the widget, not Default.png.
At the link below, you can find a widget with a Default.png of 140x200 pixels. When you run the widget, it displays at 900x607 pixels.

I am using (PDWordGetAttrEx(pdWord, 0) & WXE_LAST_WORD_ON_LINE) to get the line breaks in a pdf document. I'm getting the correct results on the plugin_apps_developer_guide.pdf (The reference guide for plugin development to Adobe Acrobat), but not on any other pdf document. I've tried the code on both tagged and un-tagged document, but only this document is giving me the right result.
Can anyone please guide me what can be the possible reason in this and how this can be handled.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

It took a couple days to get my head around it but iWeb rocks. I whipped a couple of pages that make my old site built on Network Solutions look
like...s#$%!. The image on the homepage links to the NetSol site for now.
One problem. I e-mailed the link to my wifes pc( Thinkpad w/latest version of XP) by copy and pasteing it into an e-mail. Once the mail is retreived a click on the link gets me a generic error message (page cannot be found).
Copy and past the link into the IE browser on the pc and I get a different message (we're sorry but we cant find the homepage.......... ) which is a 404 error page from apple under the .mac tab.
Here's the rub, If after hitting the publish button in iWeb I opt for the announce feature and send it to the pc it comes up fine.
I'll bet there's a simple explanation.

Most likely the problem is that your link got messed up in the email at the pc end. It is quite common for garbage pc mail programs to split the url and add a return or space somewhere, so that clicking on it or copy/pasting it gives an error. Sometimes this can be avoided by putting brackets around the url (<....>) in the email you send. Also it helps to just use the shortest possible url, which after the 1.0.1 update is http://web.mac.com/username I think

AirPort Extreme works with my Mac, but not my PSP?

Just got a new AirPort Extreme today, and I had difficulty setting up because i had typed something wrong. I fixed it and was excited to see that my homepage appeared on my computer, then I tired connecting with my PSP, and it found the signal then gave me a message that that it couldn't connect with the IP. The type of encryption was supported, and the code for the security was correct, but I still cannot figure out why it won't work.
I successfully hooked up the signal, not the ethernet, through the Mac OS X system, and the Windows Vista Ultimate system which is installed through Bootcamp. I cannot figure out why, though, that the PSP won't connect.
Please help or explain what I might be doing wrong!!!!

On your Mac, open the Airport Utility.
Select the airport base station from the list, go to manual setup.
From menu select, Base Station > Equivalent Network Password
Now copy copy password onto the Windoz PC.
