Why is the writing in the Music App on both my ipad and iPhone red?
On both my ipad and iPhone, most of the labels are in Red. The Store link, the Now Playing link, all of the letters down the right side of the page. Any icon I select along the bottom turns red when selected (radio, playlists, artists, songs, more). I'd swear it was not always like this! What have I done to cause this?
Updated the iOS version. It is the same on my iOS devices.

Start by working throudh the Troubleshooting iOS and WiFi knowledge base article and see if that helps the situation. When you get to shutting down the router, be sure to disconnect power as shutdown on some is really just standby mode.

Why must I force quit (double press home and slide off) Mail on both my iPad and iPhone in order to have Mail access on my iMac on the same wifi network. Fetch is set to manual and my ISP is Charter.
I don't know about the "3" but it's a POP account. I've always suspected that Charter isn't letting go using their mobile apps for iOS. Puzzling that it doesn't block the other way. That is if Mail is open on the iMac it doesn't block access to Mail on either the iPad or iPhone. I'm guessing it's their mobile apps that are the problem but they won't admit it to me.

I have the app "viPlay" on my iPad and iPhone. Is there any way that it could be available for the Apple TV? I'd like to access my personal videos from my hard drive using the Apple TV through the 'viPlay' app.

Both my iPad and iPhone have stopped receiving e-mail from Comcast using the Mail app.
This is really frustrating. I just spent an hour on the phone with a fairly good Comcast tech, and he couldn't solve the problem. They said it might be because Mail goes through iCloud, and iCloud may be having trouble.
I have tried restarting both the iPad and iPhone, changing ports, deleting and re-setting up the comcast mail account, etc. I am able to view my e-mail on my MacBook Pro using Outlook, and the Comcast website e-mail is also OK.
Any suggestions? It would be good if I could talk to an Apple tech, but apparently that is not an option.Thanks for the additional information. No error messages. No issues w/ POP3 e-mail being locked out....
I had not changed any settings before this problem occured. Both Mail apps on the iPad and iPhone just crashed. I believe in causality (I am a Physicist), so probably it wasn't anything on my iPad or iPhone.
It has become all too common for tech companies to blame anyone but themselves. As a customer with little control or input, I find this infuriating.
Now, both my iPad and iPhone have started working again, after nearly 6 hours w/ out e-mail working.
Maybe it was sunspots!

iPhone 5 & iPad gen 4I restarted my phone as suggested and it is still happening.
My phone just blacks out at its own will as if the battery went dead then the apple logo appears and it restarts on it's own but my battery was still at 30% when it restarted. So that made no sense. When I try to type in my password it freezes up before I can get all of the characters in. I still hear the clicks of my tapping on the keyboard but nothing is changing on the screen. When I hit the enter button on accident it vibrated to tell me my password was incorrect but still the screen was frozen with my previous entry of the first 5 characters on the screen.
I am becoming concerned that I may have a very expensive paperweight now.
My husband has the same phone and his is working fine after the initial reboot. -

I've reset the password a few times and know I am using the correct one. I get the same error on both my iPad and iPhone. Both see the network but maybe there is a problem with the router. I've also reset that a few times with no luck. Thank you.

Can anyone please tell me how to stop email previews from appearing on my screen. I have turned off the preview option in settings on both my ipad and iphone, but they still keep appearing. Thanks
works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1). Try again. with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only. (you cannot get rid of the subject) with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.

I have both an Ipad and Iphone ( not so unique) But I ran in to a question. Is there a way I can send messaged to my Ipad from my Iphone? Is so Please realize that is is new to me and step by step is the only way I am going to figure it out. My iPhone is a 5s running 8.12 and Ipad 4 but not the latest version. Any thoughts?
