Why is the X-Fi Music no longer available from anyone online

Guys in various forums have noticed that it is seemingly impossible to get an X-Fi Xtreem Music card now. What is creative doing? Did they drop the product? Are they trying to get people to buy the more expensi've models?

I've noticed this too. I just bought my X-Fi XtremeMusic less than 30days ago, and I'm thinking about RMA'n it back to TigerDirect; not sure yet though, but I don't have much time to decide.
A few sites still have it, but many don't now. Tigerdirect.com, where I got mine, is one of the ones that took it off.
I just asked tigerdirect.com customer service, they said they had more on order, and didn't want to put any on backorder. that's what they told me anyway.
newegg.com has it listed as 'out of stock'.

Apple's decision to discontinue the 15" PowerBook is galactically short-sighted.
It has to be hands-down the most popular form-factor for the business user, and as business users, we absolutely have to live in a Windows world.
Until the MacBook can support Virtual PC, I cannot and will not upgrade. Given Microsoft's past performance, I wouldn't even hope to see VPC upgraded before 2007. You absolutely should be offering the 15", even at a special order price for those of us who will need to replace their laptops before we can switch to the MacBook.
Bad Apple Bad. For smart guys you sure do make some stupid decisions.

Purchased music no longer available for redownload

I looked at my iTunes cloud purchases today and noticed that 1 full album was missing, and several others were missing many of the tracks in the albums. All of the albums are available for purchase on iTunes, but are not available for redownload on my account. I checked both iTunes with no music loaded and Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases enable ont theStore tab, AND on my iPhone where it lists the exact same music missing from my account. Complete album missing is Karmakanic - In a Perfect World. My incomplete albums are Hawkwind - Hawkwind, David Bowie - Hunky Dory, Van Der Graaf Generator - H to He Won Am the Only One, and most of my Gentle Giant albums. I do not understand why I am buying music from iTunes if it is just going to disappear from my account. This is NOT AN ISSUE ON MY END. The music is not available for redownload, but is available for purchase. I am forced to use Google Play to keep my music in the cloud since iTunes is not dependable.

The "missing" items are no longer available for re-download from your purchase history because for whatever reason the copyright holder of the music removed the original items you purchased from the iTunes Store and replaced them. This can happen in the case of a remastered album, for example. Bear in mind that Apple does not own the copyrights to the content it sells on the iTunes Store. If the copyright holder tells Apple to remove an item you've purchased from the store and replace it with a "new" or "improved" version Apple must do so. The result is the item will not longer be available to re-download from your purchase history.
It is your responsiblity to keep and maintain backups for all of your iTunes Store purchases, as iTunes in the Cloud is not a backup service.

I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

It was functioning properly after installation and now I get these messages when I go to print: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You need to check your printer settings before printing." and then this statement: "Default printer could not be opened." I have reloaded drivers for both printers and made any upgrades possible. It was working fine before and now all of a sudden, nothing. Would prefer to have old PSE v.12 back, it worked with no problems.

The only possibility I can think of, is to consult with an Apple Store Genius. See if there is some kind of Apple proprietary software or diagnostic tool that can do it.
I do not think you want to, but you could go to Settings-General-Reset-Erase All Content and Settings. If you decided to do that, you might be able to restore from a previous backup when you get home.

If you are working in PSE13, please update it to latest PSE13.1 update available and see if it helps.
To apply update, you can go to Help > Updates and there you can see PSE13.1 update.

Because you did it wrong? It's hard to know unless you tell us what you did.
What should work:
Select the photos you want to share
File -> Export and export them to a folder on the desktop. Burn that to the disk with the Finder.

I borrowed the image below for an HDR workshop I ran at the 2010 PSNZ National Convention, to demonstrate a method of removing halos. You'll remember that halos were a serious problem with early HDR, and while the halos in this image were caused by over sharpening, they are perfect for demonstrating this technique.
It relies on the fact that halos so often tend to put a lighter tone between the two areas where sharpening is being applied. Whether that is the sky abutting a dark line of hills, or the rock and little tower as in this image. I've uploaded it at the size it was supplied to me at (about 2700 pixels wide). So
Click to open the full image, right click and copy, and paste into Photoshop.
Select the clone tool, and set its blend mode to Darken.
Try to sample on a line horizontal to where you want to clone, to give the best tonal match, and start cloning.
Because the sky is darker than the halo, it overwrites it. But the rock is darker than the sky, so it has no affect.
It works even better if you clone on a new layer also set to Darken. No masking, just Photoshop blend mode magic.
You can also fix the little tower. Use a great big brush — just remember to sample horizontal to match the horizon.
Back then I was using the same trick with CAs after forgetting to fix them in ACR, and having done too much work to start again after spotting the problem.
