Why is there a huge black border at the bottom when i change my wallpaper?

I just updated my wallpaper today for the first time after the iOS 6 update. i noticed that there's a huge border at the bottom now. I tried to move the picture but the border stays there. Does anybody have the same issue?

Tap and hold any icon on the screen. They will all start to wiggle. Drag whichever ones you want into the dock. When you're done, tap the Home button to stop the wiggling.

Just curious: Why whould you want to add navigation Rules at run time. I believe the navigation rules should be set to begin with - "by s/w Architect Design".
Else you can always use Redirect / Forward.

Sorry! It is an HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC. I can give you the product number if you want? Running on Windows 8.1 64-bit
Thank you for the additional information.
Yes, the product number would be helpful.  Please don't provide the Serial #, however.
I believe your problem may be that the monitor is not compatible with Win 8.1.  The only updates that are available are for Win XP and Vista.  You can find this information in the link that I provided under the section titled "Software Update".
I suggest contacting LG Customer Service to see if they can help you.

  • Have HP Deskjet 1660; when I go to print 4x6 borderless photo there is still a border on the bottom

I have HP Deskjet 1660 printer. When I want to print 4x6 bordeless photo there is still a border on the bottom of photo. Tried many times with no success.

The Deskjet 1660 cannot print full borderless on all 4 sides, there is a bottom margin of ~0.46".  To get a borderless print use "4x6in photo paper with tabs" such as here.  That paper has a microperf removable 1/2" tab that is removed after printing leaving a clean 4x6 borderless print.

  • I have an iPhone 5 and just recently when I get the camera button and it opens there is a black border around the screen and the screen is small and I don't know what I did to cause it or what to do to make it go away anyone help

I have an iPhone 5 and just recently when I opened the camera there is a big black border around the screen causing the picture itself frame to be smaller I don't know what I did to cause this or what I can do to make it go away can anyone help/

First off, try a reset of the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if the problem persists.

  • Why is there a one-inch black border on the bottom of my screen?

I am suddenly seeing a black border on my screen, but only on the bottom, which doesn't make any sense to me. Why is it looking like that?

  • Why is there a huge white space to the right of the board when I play Lexulous on Facebook?

I play Lexulous (a form of Scrabble) on Facebook. For months now, whenever I play the game, there is a huge white space to the right of the board, like a whole other window. Only with this app. I tried another browser, same thing, and it also does it on my laptop (MacBook Pro). I asked the Lexulous help desk and attached a screenshot; they had no idea what would cause that to happen. I asked a couple of my regular opponents and they are not seeing it. It's really annoying because if I accidentally touch my mouse to the bottom scroll bar, the board slides offscreen to the left.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I'd like to fix it.

If you are using Safari to connect to Facebook, try this on one of the Macs.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
If there are any installled, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari and try that game.

  • Why is there a framework black all around the vidéo ?

When I watch the vidéo in full screen, the video don't take the whole screen.
    In 16/9 it doesn't work
    In 4/3 it's worse .

    Just another thought -
In iMovie, go to the menu item iMovie > Preferences. In the General tab, make sure that the preference for "Full-screen playback" is set to "Entire Screen".
The other options for that preference item are -
    Entire Screen - Reduced Resolution
    Actual Size
    Half Size
Maybe you have the preference set as "Half Size" or "Actual Size". If you have imported the clips as Large (960 x 540) and have the preference set as Actual Size, then when viewed full screen it will take up half the screen, both horizontally and vertically - so you will see the video on only one quarter of the screen (assuming your screen is 16:9 1920 x 1080) - hence the large black frame around the video.

  • Does anyone know what to do if there is a black bar at the bottom of your ipod touch screen?  It is like the whole screen is shifted upwards and I cant access my top row apps.

For some reason, there is a 1 inch thick black bar that appeared at the bottom of my screen.  It shifted my whole screen upwards and now I cant access my top row apps.  The ipod still works fine, but I cant figure out how to get it back to normal.  Any ideas?

    Try the sstandard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to fctory defaults/new IPod.
If y still have the problem then an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Why is there a thin vertical line on the copy when I use the feeder?

There is a thin vertical line on copies when I use the feeder but not when I copy from the glass. The copier is new. Any ideas?

Hi Ccorning, When a vertical line (top to bottom) is produced only when using the feeder (ADF) of your laser product, the issue would actually be due to a small mark or debris on the scanning glass area that sits directly under the left panel cover of the ADF.  This occurs because as the paper feeds through the ADF and across the scanning area, every inch of the paper passes over the small mark which gets picked up by the scanner.  This then produces what looks like a line.  However, thorough cleaning can resolve the issue. You can clean the platen glass and the underside of the ADF by following the procedure below. 1.  Turn OFF the Main Power Switch and disconnect the power cord. 2.  Open the ADF. 3.  Clean the ADF scanning area on the left side of the platen glass and the same area on the lid (the area that would touch the scanning area when the lid is down) with a cloth dampened with water.  You will want to carefully and fully clean the glass in the ADF scanning area.  Look for scratches, tiny spots and marks of any sort.  If marks are noticed, you may have to clean the platen glass up to three times or more depending on what created the mark (i.e.. correction fluid, pen ink).  You can use a soft lint free cloth either dry, with glass cleaner or water to clean the glass and may have to scrub until it squeaks to remove certain types of marks.  NOTE: Please spray the cloth with the cleaning solution and not the glass.  Another way to ensure the mark is removed is to use a credit card by placing in on a angle and sliding it across the glass in one direction.  The plastic of the card will not scratch the glass.  You can then lift the credit card when reaching the end of the glass and return to the other side to slide it across again.  Then wipe the area with a soft, dry cloth. 4.  Close the ADF. 5.  Reconnect the power cord and turn ON the Main Power Switch. Caution:  Be careful not to get your fingers caught. After cleaning the glass, run 4-5 blank/clean pages through to test it.  If the thin black line still appears, please try cleaning the scanning area again as a mark on the glass is the only cause for this.  If the issue persists, there may be a scratch in the glass which would require service. If further assistance is needed, please feel free to Contact Us.

  • Why is there a huge difference between what the Finder says is available on my internal hard drive and what System Information says is available?

The Finder says I have 123 Gb available on my 500 Gb internal hard drive.
Systen Information says I have 61 Gb of capacity remaining
Tech Tools says I have 61 Gb abailable.
    Why the difference?
Since I am experiencing performance problems I tend to believe System Information.
Will optomizing my hard drive with Tech Tools or the equivalent help improve my performance?
At what % of capacity do I need to begin offloading stuff from my hard drive?

At what % of capacity do I need to begin offloading stuff from my hard drive?
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.

  • 16:9,  Black border all the way around the video.

Using a Canon GL2 video camera I shot a short video in anamorphic 16:9. I then imported it into FCP, in the same format. Exported it and brought it into DVDSP in 16:9.
Everything looked great on my 4:3 TV. It looked like it letterboxed just fine and would project on an HD TV just fine. However, once it opened up on screen it only covered about 95% of the screen. There was a black border all the way around the video.
Anyone have an explanation for this. Better yet, a solution to correct this problem.
    Thanks
    Kyle

If you had got the settings wrong I would expect there to be large borders down the sides, as if you were watching a 4:3 channel on a 16:9 TV that is not set to zoom the image. I don't think you would describe that as 95%.
When you say open up on screen, do you mean on a computer, or on a projection screen? In either case you see the whole image, including the stuff beyond action safe, which you probably wouldn't see on a 4:3 TV or a 16:9 HDTV. Many cameras only fill 702 of the 720 pixels. If you look at the original DV file from the camera, does it fill the full width of the 720 wide image space, or does it have thin black broders?
