Why is there a problem reading the file(mp3) when being imported

i remember that i tried it on my friend's laptop and it worked. i am using a trial version of flash and is a beginner, i don't know what i am doing wrong

Appreciate your comments on the publishing options Rob, but to clarify, the rates expressed in kbps are audio data bitrates, not sampling rates.
The audio bitrate is the amount of data (in bits per sec.) that was used to encode the audio file. Generally speaking, the higher the bitrate, the better the quality.
The audio sampling rate on the other hand is how often the encoding program checked the original audio file and "sampled" the audio while creating the copy. The more often the original was checked, the closer to the original the copy would be. Typically audio is sampled at 44.1kHz, or 44,100 times per second (about the maximum frequency change that the human ear can detect).
The next most common sampling rate is 22.05kHz (22,050 times per sec)... sampling only half as often.
Less samples per second may make the encoding go faster but during that small amount of time between one sample and the next, some changes occuring in the original audio file may be missed. Cutting the sampling rate even further will mean that even more of the original will be skipped while creating the copy.
