Why is there a server error when logging onto icloud?

When logging onto my icloud account on my pc, it said server error. I'm using the correct id and password, but it still wont work.

Server Error when signing in iCloud on Window Surface Pro 3

Hi,
I encountered "Server Error" when signing in iCloud on Window Surface Pro 3. Tried re-installing and signing in with other Apple IDs but still encounter the same error.
Can anyone help please?

I keep getting an error message when logging onto iCloud. It states that "you cant sign in because of a server error". But the cloud status is "normal".

This is happened today after I udpated my iPad to IOS v7 and iTunes to 11.1.0.126 and only for one of my computers. I keep on getting an error message when trying to log onto iCloud. The error message is "you cannot sign-in because of a server error" but the iCloud status is "normal" and iCloud is fine on my other computers.

Next day the problem still continued. I did restart my computer a couple of times and then "it worked". Not sure why - if it really was a server problem or something on my side.

Find My Friends - Server Error when logging in

I have been using Find My Friends on my iPad4 and iPhone5 for about a month but now I am getting either an error suggesting my Apple ID password is wrong, which it isn't or I wouldn't get to post on here - plus I have checked via appleid web portal.
Currently it says "Find My Friends Alert - Find My Friends is unavailable due to a server error."
However, my friends are logged into their iPads and iPhones using the service without a problem.
Any ideas?

This seems to be a common thread that stems from before Apple introduced email. At that time I first created an Apple identity for the 3GS, it was using the email address I already had. On subsequent iPhone hardware and software upgrades that introduced Apple based email, like @me.com and latterly iCloud, logging onto an updated software version you are invited to use the Apple based identities which you invariably do. This can be a mistake as original Apps are linked to the core identity based on the original one that first set up, and unless this is used then some Apps like Find Friends give misleading error messages like Cannot find Server, or Server error, when the problem is how you have logged on.
Merging those multiple identities would be a solution, but one that I haven't yet found.

Have you tried this with any player and does this happens with all browsers or some specific browser ?
Its possible that correct MIME is not rendered ,browsers rely on the MIME type sent in the server headers.
Can you test out with different files and new pages , try to use original format of mp4 for testing.

I have used the solution below to fix mine and others that have run into this issue.
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
then type in: "Netsh winsock reset" (-without the quotes-)
Hit enter, restart PC, iCloud For PC should now connect without any server errors
(This solutions will work in some instances when trying to fix errors associated when you are unable to connect to iTunes also.)

UnKnown Server Error when logging in

I have had this issue for months. And I have been un able to install new updates for any of my creative cloud products that I pay for monthly. Please see the attached screenshot. I have uninstalled the creative cloud desktop and installed it several times and this issue will not go away.

Errors when logging onto NWBC

I have two issues when logging into NWBC.
I'm connecting to my ECC DEV environment using http://myserver:8010/sap/bc/nwbc
when I first connect I get a message about an expired certificate
I'm not sure where to find this certificate to update the valid to date....
Then after saying yes... I get this error...
I've tried changing the Custom level in my internet options to allow mixed content - but it still gives this error message.
Any ideas?

This is actually an IE browser security certificate handling issue. What to do next would depends on how your corporate security team set up your certificate store ...
But if you want to give it a go -- try to install the certificate yourself into your own IE browser (that's assuming that the certificate is something that you trust) ...
To do so
-Click on the [Yes] and then proceed to install the certificate manually into your desktop.
-The certificate need to be stored in your Root Certificate directory. If you do NOT know where it's, try scanning your desktop for the file *.crt or Using the Windows Start Button to Run the program certmgr.msc

What error do you get, and are you trying to update directly on the iPad (if you already have iOS 5+ installed) or via you computer's iTunes ?

Why is there an "unknown error" when I try to sync photos?

When I try to sync photos into my fifth generation 60 GB iPod, it always comes up with a message "The iPod,"Lin's iPod" cannot be updated. An unknown error has occurred(-50)." Think I'm getting closer (Lol). I did as you suggested and changed the web url to http://localhost:8888/Documents/projects/whoknew/. As you suggested I moved the local site to the Documents folder under the sub-folder projects. It is connecting to the server, but now I am getting the requested url cannot be found on the server. Below are screenshots of my current settings.
