Why is there Intermittent Aperture DNG Problems?

I am having intermittent problems downloading DNG files from my Leica M8. Most of the files are brought in fine but there are always a couple of files that give an error message. These files however can be downloaded using Capture with no problems, and then they can be imported into Aperture without any problems.
Anyone else come across this? Anyone know what's going on?

I'm shooting with an M8 as well, no problems to report bringing in DNG's directly from the card. I did have issues with extreme III cards with Tiger and a card reader but I switched to the Ultra II which plug directly into the USB port.
It is good practice to format the cards after each download in the camera, also the M8 is a bit fussy about which cards you use and there have been reports of issues with some cards not on the recommended list here

Also I don't use the supplied USB cable for transfer but rather directly download from the card.

I have uninstalled, downloaded latest and installed but it still doesn't work. Why are there still files leftover even after manually removal whatever I could?

McAfee is still saying Firefox is untrusted and will not run it.
I have managed to delete some folders containing Firefox but there are some still remaining.

Aperture 3 update. Why is there still no eraser for the retouch tool?

Perhaps I'm missing something, but: Why is there still no eraser for the retouch tool?
I realize you can delete retouch strokes, but they are in linear order so you often have to delete useful ones to go far enough back to get the one that you've decided no longer works.
I would rather have the ability to erase strokes back to the original image, much like the way the History Brush works in Photoshop, and indeed the eraser tool works in many other Aperture bricks.
Example, I retouch an eye, and then move on to retouch an ear. Then I decide I don't like the eye brush strokes. In order to remove one stroke on the eye retouch, I have to delete all the successful brush strokes I've made to the ear (i.e. those that came after the stroke I wish to remove from the eye). This is needlessly complicated and inefficient.
Many of other bricks in Aperture have an eraser tool to selectively remove brushstrokes. Why not the retouch tool?
Also, many other bricks in Aperture allow for stacking or layering bricks of the same adjustment with different brush choices. Why not the retouch tool?
Am I missing something?

We are just users here. Feature Enhancement requests need to be made via Apple's official approved channel. You can get there from within Aperture by clicking "Aperture➞Provide Aperture Feedback".
Retouching (and cloning) involves not just applying a transformation to the selected pixels, but basing that transformation on _other, non-contiguous_ pixels sampled from the image. This leads me to think that there may be intractable technical problems setting up the kind of workflow you propose.

Why do I get an "unable to connect - There may be a problem with the mail server or network." message from iCloud. I have verified the settings. I can access my iCloud account online but can't send or receive e-mail via the mail account.

iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Well I have muted the sound on my ipad through my wireless keyboard, however my music volume is turned up to full. When my music volume is turned to zero as well as everything being muted it makes that scratchy sound.
HOWEVER, i noticed it only happens when it is muted via my bluetooth wireless keyboard. What's the correlation?

I had this problem in Firefox 3.6.8 and then just downloaded version 3.6.12, the latest one, but it still happens constantly:

- Open a new tab in Firefox

Do you have system sounds muted? Check the button above your volume control on the right hand side of the iPad. If, when you change the button you see mute on your screen, you'll restore system sounds. If you see lock orientation, you can restore system sounds by double tapping your home button to bring up the task bar (most recently used apps). With your finger swipe those apps all the way to the right to reveal a mute icon on the left. Touch that icon and you'll restore system sounds.
Let us know if that was the issue.

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.

Than I could not use it, because my cursor uncontrollably was jumping around the screen, I was resumed my trackpad become bulging, Than on11/25/ 2013 they changed my trackpad for free, because was manufactoring defect, but not the bulging battery. They said that is do not needed. Since that my cursor is quiet often quivering, I think my Macbook has serious manufacturing defect. But they said no, during a year period I went to the genius bar at least 15 times, with this and similar problems. I went there yesterday, with different problems, and they said one of the screws came off from my truck pad, therefore they need to fix it and change it. I said: - What, how, what is the real problem? A screw does not comes off just like that? They will change my trackpad again, but not the battery. They said has to rebuild the operation system, I'm saving all of my data right now! I would like to exchange the battery too, or maybe get a new Macbook. My Macbook is 2010 China model. If it's a 2010 as you say towards the end of your post, it's out of warranty. The battery isn't covered in that case. Why don't you just buy a new battery if that's your concern? If it's a 2013 as you say up at the top, it shouldn't have a bulging battery. How do you know it does? If it really does, ask for the store manager and explain the problem.

So when I go to update my apps and/or purchase them, a pop up comes up saying 'There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Tap continue and sign in to view billing information.' So I press continue and sign in, then it goes to my 'Payment Method' page. In red writing below, it says 'There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please enter another payment method.' Because I used a MasterCard for my last purchase, it won't let me change it. I redeemed my account from an Itunes gift card to $20 but I cannot use it as it doesn't give me the option of using it. My only billing options are either a Visa Card, MasterCard or Amex Card. Please help me if possible!!!
