Why is there no Accept button?

Since iOS 7, I cannot download anything on my iphone because it tells me I need to Accept iTunes 'Terms and Conditions' first but there is NO accept button anywhere and the 'Send by Email' button doesnt work! Help please!!

George, what is your GarageBand version? The in-App purchase is only available in GarageBand 10.0 on Mavericks, but your profile signature says "iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)". That would mean, you are running GB '11 and not 10.0.
If you are indeed using GarageBand 10.0 and do not see an accept button, it could mean, that GarageBand 10.0 has already been accepted to your AppleID or from a different AppleID than the one you are using now. Have you signed into the AppStore with the AppleID you used originally to buy GarageBand ?
Have you checked the Updates Page at the AppStore, to see, if there is an update?
How did you buy GarageBand originally?

Not to mention, the CD drive has a disc in it that won't come out. I'm not anywhere near an Apple dealer, and my MacBook is under warranty, so I can't go anywhere but Apple.

Do you mean in the Downloads tab in the iTunes app on the iPad ? If so, then the T&Cs only appear if there are no outstanding downloads available - if you've bought (or if you are in the US re-downloaded) any films on the iPad then they should have downloaded into the Videos app

Why is there no cancel button when you are importing?

Seriously...
Why is there no way of canceling when you start importing something from say, your movies folder into iMovie? I just don't understand. How hard is it to add a **** cancel button? Sometimes you import a file and iMovie decides it needs to optimize it before it imports, it can take hours depending on the file, and they don't even give you a cancel button? What the ****. I'm aware you can force quit the app, but how stupid is it, that you need to force quit out of the app just because the developers could not be bothered to add a cancel button in the most obvious place you would want one.
So yeah, am I missing something here, or is iMovie really that stupid?

In Windows, there is almost always a “cancel” button to undo your changes. So, for example, if you changed a bunch of settings in windows but change your mind, you can hit “cancel” and it’ll simply undo everything you changed and exit you out of the settings window.
In OS X, this feature is non-existent.
Is there any particular reason for omitting this useful feature? It’s not as though a “cancel” button is a resource hog, now is it?
I mean, it seems like a no-brainer for Apple to incorporate this feature.

When you quote the "human interface guidelines" do you mean Apple's guidelines, or some document that the whole industry has agreed on ?
As far as your suggestions a) and b), why should I change the way I want to work to overcome a shortcoming of the OS ? However, I must say I like the sound of the add-on you mention, I will definitely investigate it.

RANT: Why is there no power button on the Airport Extreme Base Station?

I know there is no solution to this until Apple updates the next generation of Airport Extrem Base Stations; hopefully they'll add a POWER BUTTON to it.
I like to turn off my base station when I'm not at home and the only choice I have is to pull the plug out of the back. Why? Two reasons: cut down on my energy bill and SECURITY.
Not that it really uses much energy, but I'm doing the environmental thing here. And my network is password protected, but I just feel more comfortable having it turned off when I'm not there.
So, does anybody feel the same as me about this?

there are plenty of environmental accidents that ruin
your hundreds of hours of energy use over the years
in mere seconds.
I'm not just thinking of myself when I speak of the environment and energy use. If everyone that has an Airport Network at home turned it off when they were not at home, I think it would make a significant difference. People need to think nore of their impact on the world instead of viewing just their one little piece of it.
It's like the people who leave their desktop computers and monitors on all the time. Turn the friggin' things off if you're not there and if it's not performing any function. Those devices are just eating up energy.

Why is there no Data button on slide up menu.

Probably the wrong place to post this question but why didn't Apple add a Data button on the slide up menu on the new iPhone ios software?
I use this more than Flight Mode and I am sure there are others out there who use Data more than Flight Mode. Not everyone has unlimited data with their mobile contract.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else thinks this and if Apple will be adding this at a later date.

Why is there NO OK-BUTTON IN THE SETTINGS ???

Hi, I am really desperate.
I have a new very fast windows 8.1 pc (64 bit) and installed the latest version of iTunes on it. Unfortunately at the bottom of the settings window there is no OK-button, so I cannot confirm the changes I made in the settings. I uninstalled iTunes and all the rest (Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support). I restarted the pc, made sure that there were no remains of the former installation, deactivated my antivirus software (Avira Internet Security) and deactivated almost each automaticly starting software which might disturb the correct installation of iTunes. Again I restarted the pc and then I tried the installation of iTunes again. Unfortunately the result was the same as before: NO OK-BUTTON IN THE SETTINGS. What can I do?

I found the answer myself: On my PC there is a software called "Windows Blinds". With its help one can change the look of windows. But in my case it did not only change the look of windows but also made disappear the OK-Button in the settings of iTunes. After I had deactivated "Windows Blinds" the OK-button was back again. Hurrah!!!

To correct this error, you must manually change the translation in your system.
To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Call transaction SE63 (Standard Translation Environment)
2. Select: Translation -> ABAP Objects -> Short Texts
3. Select object type S3 ABAP Texts -> REPT Text Element
4. Enter "/TMWFLOW/CL_MO_HTML_REQUEST" as the object name
5. Select the Source Language "deDE" German DE, and the appropriate Target Language (for example, "enUS" English US)
6. Click Edit
7. Find TEXT WID , with the German text "Zurückziehen"
8. Replace the translation "Cancel" with "Withdraw"
9. Save your changes

Why is there no "share" button for voicemail??

I want to forward a voicemail i got to my husband and he is out of town...
It would be nice to send a text message with an audio file attached... You could record it on another phone using the voice memos and forward that audio file but that is such a "rigged" way to do it. I dont understand why it would need to be so difficult. Why hasn't Apple added this feature?? I didnt have much luck finding any 3rd party apps to do it either. Sorry, just frustrated!

For one, Voicemail is a carrier feature & not a phone feature. Second, not all carriers permit forwarding of voicemails, & those that do generally only permit forwarding to someone on their network. This has nothing to do with Apple. So, contact your carrier & ask if they permit forwarding of voicemails.

Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end of the location bar.<br />
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button.<br />

Why is there no delete button on pictures which I synced from my computer

The photos which I synced to my iPad from my computer do not have delete buttons; those which were Camera Roll do have the trashcan icon. How can I delete a photo from a synced album?

If photos were synced from your computer then they can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select them from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

TS5275 There is no Accept button next to GarageBand. Why is this and how can I fix it?

I was making a musical introduction for my YouTube channel (DiamondGriefingMC by the way, I'll provide a link for you to subscribe if you're into gaming) and had to make the in-app purchase in GarageBand to do so, but cannot do it because when I click on one of the sounds that are included in the purchase (which I don't have yet) the pop-up window that should be on-screen doesn't show up. Why is this, and what can I do to fix these pesky problems?
