Why is there no automatic save button in the toolbar?

this is a very annoying omission. I like to save my work with a quick button instead of going through the "File" tab. Is there a way to get this on there?

Locate what you want to have a keyboard shortcut for and note it's exact spelling, upper and lower case.
Then go to:
+Menu > Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts > click on little plus sign bottom left corner > Application: > Scroll right to the bottom > Other… > Locate Pages inside the iWork folder of the Applications folder > Select > Menu Title: > type exact name of menu item > Keyboard Shortcut: > type key combination required (make it unique) > Add+
You may need to restart the application but when you do it will have the keyboard shortcut against the menu item.

Just out of curiosity, could you describe how you use the Save button in AppleWorks?
Do you let go of the keyboard, move your hand to the mouse, move the cursor to the button and click it and then move the hand back to the keyboard, or do you usually have your hand on the mouse anyhow, so you just have to move the cursor and click? Or do you have some other trick?
I'm honestly curious. The first thing I do in almost any application is to turn off the toolbars and use the shortcuts instead. (⌘+S for save and ⇧⌘I for show invisibles, but you probably knew that already.)

Why is there no option to print in the toolbar options, useful components?

I'm not sure that previous versions have had this option either, but when on certain sites (i.e. banking, etc.) they don't always have a print option. Is there a way that this could be added to the toolbar options? Perhaps under useful components?

file in DW-CS3. It would just save it to my local drive before, and
now (the day or so) it always uploads to my FTP site without me
PUTTING the file there. How do I get it to stop trying to upload

In the Remote Site definition, disable Automatic PUT on Save.

There is no edit button at the bottom of my notification center in Yosemite. I'm using a macbook pro. Any ideas?

You can try trashing the preference file. Then kill the NotificationCenter.app.
The preference file is stored inside your Library folder. This is the complete path+preference file's name
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist
To kill the NotificationCenter.app, open Activity Monitor. Using the search box, type noti. You'll see the Notification center listed below. Select the line and click on the kill button
Force Quit, when asked. Notification Center reopens automatically.
Check.

Like I said, I thought I had done some damage -- even though the drop was just a couple of inches that was my very first thought, but when it came and went with which app I was in (or not) I knew it wasn't a damaged SCREEN. So I wondered if it was a different damaged part, memory or some such.
When I saw that others had the exact same shape, I could only imagine that perhaps the phone was indicating it was running a diagnostic, had been forcefully dropped, had a faulty/damaged accelerometer or some other purposeful object. It clearly wasn't random, it was a definite shape.
Hey Paul! I'm hoping they've seen the issue and tried replacing a few parts or something... Ya never know. As a (mostly) retired guy I have the time!
I also mentioned in a kind of oblique way that I had enabled the Kanji keyboard. I should also mention that I have the field strength test enabled so that I am able to see the -db numbers instead of the antenna bars. That's right in the same area, so it could be related.... maybe... or not. The screen was unlocked when this happened and I'm guessing I pushed a whole lotta buttons and/or icons as I was grabbing at it... I wonder if it is possibly an easter egg of some sort -- just the right combo of touches. Then again, it bounced right on THAT corner... LOL
That's the only stuff I've ever done to the phone. It's never been jailbroken or anything like that. It has taken a few falls in its lifetime but none resulting in any obvious damage.
It's a 32GB iPhone 3Gs and it is now 2 years old (bought June 27, 2009.) I'm just happy that it seems to be OK. While Apple's stock may be the largest market cap in the US, my portfolio sure isn't.

Because Apple did not set it up that way. Email the list to you. The Users Guide says:
View an article in Reader: Tap the Reader button, if it appears in the address field.
Adjust the font size: Tap .

Also how do you request films/tv series to the UK itunes? There's tv series I'd like but they're incomplete like The Batman & Xena Warrior Princess. And films theta aren't available for download but you can purchase in a store like HMV? Apple isn't doing itself any favours by secluding countries by their store. They'd make billions if you could just select the iTunes Store you want to search & purchase from just by signing in! If anything what they're doing is putting themselves into a corner, other companies like Samsung & HTC are already on too of them for innovation & ease of use. The people they're attracting are predominantly existing Apple users not new customers. What do you guys think?

It's not Apple's choice, they can only sell a particular item where the content provider/rights-holder has granted them a license to sell them. Content is licensed by the rights-holders to Apple on a country-by-country basis, each country therefore has to have its own store, and you have to be in a country to use its store - they want control over where their content is available.
You can try requesting that an item be added to the UK store via this page, but unless the rights-holder agrees to then Apple won't be able to sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Hi,
Normally, for the archiving or generation of the invoice document in PDF format is handled by maintaining the output records through VV31/VV32 with the relevant printer, storage mode ( 3- print and archive or 2- archive only ), no. of messages ( means no of copies ) in the communication method.
Then when you click the print button through VF03 in the print options pop-up you get a print at the physical printer and at the same time an archived copy ( PDF copy ) attached with the document.
So, please make sure the output records are fine to allow a PDF copy generated and then try to print and check in VF03 by entering into the billing document.

However, from the print preview you normally would not be allowed to save or print.

why is there no photo album option in the gallery?
other units like the N79 had this option..
but i dont get why they didnt include it with X6
that sucks... ive had alot of trouble finding reliable and working photo programs that allow
photo album... usually compatibility problems...

I think you can achieve what you want to do on the X6. On the X6 an album is termed a folder.
If you go to the Gallery so that you can see the large list of thumbnail photos and select
Options > Folder options > New folder
Create the folder with a name of your choice.
You should then see a folder icon appear at the top of the large list of thumbnail images. If you then select, or 'Mark', the images that you want to group together by selecting
Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark (you may have to scroll down before Mark/Unmark appears).
Once you have a little tick by all the photos that you want to group together then select
Options > Folder options > Move to folder and choose the folder you created earlier.
You should then have only those images grouped together in a single folder (or album ). You can create as many folders as you like. I use this method to group all my wallpaper images together and also any system images that the gallery may discover so that they don't clog up the main gallery.
Note: From what I can see the actual locations of the photographs on either drive C: or drive E: remain unchanged, only their listing within the gallery is changed so that an image appears in the main group or within a 'folder'.

The bottom line here is that it IS possible to add a button for this to the CHM toolbar. This is described at the link below:

The possibly bad news here is that RoboHelp doesn't lend itself to easily allowing you to do it. I tried a few times yesterday with no success.
If you are willing to make edits in RoboHelp, then step outside of RoboHelp and use the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop to compile your CHM, you might be able to achieve it.
I would also heartily encourage you (and others) to file this as an enhancement request with Adobe.

That's probably the ambient light sensor. It's on the black iPhone too, it's just not as visible.
