Why is there no none?

I'm sure this question is rather common but I think my case is a little different. So I want to review my Apple ID to be used in to iTunes or the App Store on my iPad Air. However, I lack a credit card and therefore I obviously require to tap that none button, which isn't there. So how to I review my Apple ID without a credit card? And remember, I'm not creating an account. So maybe if someone could guide me through the steps to fill up my billing details it would be much appreciated, thank you.

You cannot set up an iTunes Store account using an existing Apple ID without providing some sort of payment method. If you want free apps and don't want to provide a payment method, you will need to create a new Apple ID as part of the process. See:

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Click the "down arrow" next to your name at the top right side of the page and click "Account." Enter your username and password and click "View Account" to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

There should such an option only if you try purchasing a free app within your iTunes on your computer.

ok, i have been trying for 3 days to get an iTunes account so I can use my iTunes card I bought, so when i went to redeem it, things when ok, THEN it got to the payment info, the website says that there is a "none" option, and i don't see it. I am tired of getting into fights with my mom about just letting me use her credit card info then switching to none, or using her pay pal account to do the same thing. anyways can someone help me with this? possibly in a way that won't get me grounded?

Create a new ID by following the steps in this article exactly as written: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Pay attention to step 3; you must first download and install any free app then create the ID.

My phone is an iPhone 3gs too, and last night actually it said the same thing, "No Sim Card" and my friend and I started panicking but I did what I call a "Forced Reboot" where you hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the apple logo. DO NOT RELEASE UNTIL THEN otherwise you are just shutting it down. So, I did that and it worked again....

You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

Why is there only one automated audio fader at head and none at tail of some audio clips?

When I select "Show audio animation," top left of an audio clip, on some sections I have two knobs... one at the head for fade in, and one at the tail for fade out. Why is there only one on some of the audio clips and not both? I've set up the clips the same, regarding audio animation, and some have faders at head, but not tail. How do I make another fader at the tail of a clip? Or why doesn't it automatically behave like the other audio clips that DO have two faders? I don't know what I'm doing to make them act differently.

Thanks for reply. I'm attaching screen shots. For some reason my pointer didn't show up with a normal screen grab. Don't understand. Anyway, several versions are attached. There isn't one hidden on the right beyond the frame that pops out when I put my pointer there (or any tool). Strange.

I would guess that the use of h1-h6 tags helps search engines to understand the structure of a page as the tags imply a certain structure.
This can be compared to more generic tags like <div> that could represent any kind of content - and may be what iWeb uses (you'll have to check yourself).
I would generally recommend that you use some kind of up to date blog/site building tool, perhaps Wordpress or Squarespace (I haven't used either one myself) that support current web technologies - this should reduce your SEO issues and make it easier to properly support mobile/tablet users.

If i am the only user and owner of my macbook, then why are there 78 users in the directory editor?

Hi guys just wanted to know little bit about the open directory as my MacBook Pro has been playing up on and off at least a couple of years. I have been advised by Apple over the phone or as well as over the genius bar in trying to get my mac to behave. This normally solves whatever problem that has been happening at the time. "Great, job done!"... Not so much, as another problem eventually shows it's ugly pixelated face again and then we end up going round the Infinite loop ride one more time... And this ride ain't always free! I have forked out about £600 on it so far and it wasn't cheap in the beginning! Anyway I have just got off the ride and before I get punched by a plyst to get back on I would rather learn about the things I don't understand so hopefully I can resolve the matter without hair loss. So my main question so far is why are there 78 user names (most of which are computer related names, not all) are found in Directory Utility? I do not play games on my Mac it is mainly used for media such as iPhoto, iTunes, pages, mail and surfing the net. So which out these 78 users do I select as a server?

None. It's normal. Make no modifications.
It's not clear what trouble you are experiencing, or if anything is wrong at all. If your Mac is not behaving as you expect it should, describe what's wrong in as much detail as possible.
Include all relevant details regarding your MacBook Pro starting with which one of its three dozen models you have. Posting the results of EtreCheck will help with that. Read about it here.

Why is there no API to update the configuration file?

It would be nice to be able to programmatically add/remove a JRE configuration in the deployment.properties, and be able to reorder the positions of the JREs in the list.
We run JWS to start our WebSphere custom thin client, running on the same IBM SDK that powers our WebSphere MT. I've conquered all those issues.
Because it is not a SUN JRE, it cannot be registered or auto-downloaded. As a result, we have to write some gnarly code to do the update and reorder.

painfully learned that there IS a difference between
theory and practice.
In my case, being tied to IBM SDK 1.3.1 because of
the WebSphere appserver is like an anchor. First, I
can' run our client on a SUN JRE because IBM carries
a lot of proprietary baggage (CORBA, native
libraries, etc). Second, the SUN autodownload cannot
recognize our JRE by the 'j2se version' 1.3.1. Third,
Java Web Start won't automatically recognize the our
foreign JRE. first, specifying version="1.3.1" without an auto download address (href) is completely invalid, because in that case you are asking for any jre that implements the 1.3.1 java specification, and there is none.

the autodownload href would not be invalid if you actually post the autodownload bundles at that address, planty of people have done this.

You are not alone.
Actions speak louder than words, but Apple does manage to still distract many from what is self evident before them.
I am astonished by those who swear that non-existent features, or features that pre-exist the current version make Pages 5.2 a major upgrade.
An affect that does seem to wear off with familiarity, as each version of Pages 5 gets a boost in the App Store, only to see the disapproval rating surge back again.
Pages was always one of the top purchases in the App Store, now it doesn't even rate.

Why are there no CC Apps in my Creative Cloud Folder? Just finished cramming Adobe Creative Cloud Flash Professional info. Tried to use it and found that it wasn't in my Apps Folder, nor anywhere else. During my search I discovered that none of the other CC apps were there either. All CS6 Pro apps are there, but no CC.
IMac 21.5" desktop; OSX 10.8.5; 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5: 1333 MHz; 4 GB DDR3; 500 GB HD + 500 GB external HD

Could you try to scroll down a bit and look into the "Find New Apps" section. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
In case you still do not see any CC applications, login to https://creative.adobe.com/products and try to download any CC app and then check if it gets installed and you see it under the "Your apps" section of CC desktop app.
