Why is there no option to play podcasts in itunes on iOS 7?

I used to download and play podcasts on my iPhone. Since updating to iOS 7, there no longer seems to be a tab or option for podcasts. Is there a way to get this back?

Ok, nevermind. Just downloaded the one from Apple. No idea why they would delete this from iTunes in the first place. Grrr. Then again, I also wish they would not have changed the Radio function on iTunes to go from streaming actual radio stations to making it like a Pandora. I used to love listening to my favorite radio stations via iTunes.

Why is there no option to "hide sensitive notifications" on my phone? (LG G3) I just updated to Lollipop, and it now it shows all my emails and texts on the lock screen which is not cool. When I tried to search for a fix, I found that you need to choose "hide sensitive notifications" under the "Sound and Notification" settings, but that option is nowhere to be found. Help!

I have figured it out. It's really dumb. So you need to set the locking mechanism (pattern, code, whatever). Then go to Settings>Sound and Notification>Lock Screen> Show All Notifications. Then when you go to Settings>Sound and Notification>Apps and pick something like "messages", the "sensitive" option appears.
So essentially if you choose the "Hide Sensitive Only" it seems to think that all are sensitive and you can't pick and choose. But if you "Show All", it will let you decide what is sensitive. Very complicated.

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

We are aware if the 'black box' issue with the shim installer (downloaded from get.adobe.com/flashplayer), however, this should not be the case with the full installer. Is there a way to play podcasts in order?

Is there a way to sort podcast episodes so it plays from oldest to newest automatically, just as in iTunes? It's pretty irregular and a pain in the neck to have to hit the back button upon end of each episode, just to hear things in order.

I listen to several different podcasts at work and it was a pain to listen to them in sequence because they kept going down to the previous one but your suggestion works wonders and now I can listen to them in sequence without having to touch the iPod unless I want to pause it.

Why is there an option for Notes Syncing?

Hello,
Looking to clear something up about Note Syncing. Why is this an option? When I make notes in Mail.app they live online in my inbox or other online subfolder and I can get at them from any of my other Macs that have Mail.app set to check that account.
What am I missing here? Is the Notes sync item in mobile me syncing preferences for syncing offline notes, ones that you put in an "on my mac" folder? Why wouldn't you just put these notes up in the cloud like I do...it seems like there is no upside to this note-syncing ability.
I have looked around for an official textual description of what Notes syncing is for but I can't find one. It seems to solve a problem that doesn't really exist. Can someone straighten me out, maybe there is a good reason why I should actually be syncing notes?

Yeah, I did find a lot of people posting that they wished for this feature for iPhone and it has been promised in the past. I do not have an iPhone, so the questions would be if you put a note in your inbox, how does the iPhone currently treat it when you check your mail? It would still seem that sync is unnecessary 'cuz the note still lives in the cloud. Ha ha I guess the bottom line is that I am not really trying to solve a problem, with or without Notes Syncing tuned on I can get to my Mail notes anywhere that I have Mail.app setup...but I was just wondering if I was missing out on something, you know, conceptually...

Why does trying to play podcasts cause itunes to always freeze?

Everytime I try to play a podcast in Itunes, the program immediately freezes and I have to shut it down. Any ideas why this is or how to fix it?

A. Why HD 1080p or HD 720p ? (not for making a DVD I hope as this will not give any good result)
(for iDVD - Do - Share to Media Browser and as Large to get best possibly outcome (Never Share to iDVD))
(BTW - no DVD can be HD-DVDs any more and only a rare number of Toshiba HD-DVD players could Playback. DVD is as standard interlaced SD-Video)
B. Free space on Start-Up (Mac OS) hard disk - for use of standard def video (SD-Video) I never go under 25Gb free space - and if material is in HD I guess that 4-5 times more will do as a minimum)

Playing podcasts in iTunes....not working

I am under the impression that I can play podcasts in my iTunes. I have a particular podcast that will not go onto my iPod nano and will not convert to a movie. (it's a video) Is there a way to play it in podcast form on iTunes. I've tried double clicking it and it won't work........

Sounds like you have a video that is not supported by iTunes / Quicktime.
Right-click the entry in iTunes and select (hmm, forgot exact option) 'show in Explorer' or something like that. That should open Windows Explorer and highlight this particular file. Right click the file and select Open With... QuickTime Player. If QT won't play the file, then you have almost no chance of playing it on an iPod. You would have to convert the file using some other utility to WMV or MPG so that iTunes & iPod could handle the file.

Playing Podcasts in iTunes sequentially

I've been listening to Podcasts on iTunes for a long time now, but I occationally have a problem listening to podcasts sequentially on iTunes.
I usually go to the Library and select "Podcast" as the Genre, then I usually choose "All" for Artists and Albums. That way I get a list of all my Podcasts. Then I usually reverse sort on Time so I can listen to the shortest podcasts first. With the latest iTunes, I choose multiple speakers and then start at the top selected podcast and hit "Play". This usually just sequentially plays through the podcasts. When the one that is playing finishes it continues on to the next podcast in the list.
Occationally, for some reason I can't figure out, this doesn't work and iTunes only plays one podcast. I've tried the little icon on the bottom left (arrows pointing to each other in a circle) used to play over and over and repeat a selection, but that doesn't seem to do it.
Does anyone know what I can do to get this working again?

It turns out that I had used the checkmark to load different music on my iPod mini and my 60GB ipod. The checkmark is needed to play sequentially through the album. Rechecking all the songs allowed the music to play sequentially.

Playing podcasts in iTunes, jumps to next episode before finished.

Playing a podcast in iTunes (12.1.0.50) on iMac (Yosemite, 10.10.2), after playing for about 5 min it jumped to the next episode in the list, played that one for 5 min, then jumped again, and did this until got to the end of the list, then just stopped!

I had this problem it's because the next episode isn't downloaded, you need to click the cloud with the arrow on it on the right hand side. Will play fine after that.

Podcasts with iTunes under iOS 5.0.1, on an iPhone 3GS

So after this upgrade, podcasts that I download into iTunes play at about 1/2 speed and they should echo-y, and like they are under water.
Does not matter how the podcast is loaded - whether as new one synched in from my computer, or if downloaded directly to the phone.
Also - the new podcast play interface is not nearly as useful as the prior one - there is not control for the speed as with iTunes under iOS 4, and there is not 30 sec back up button, which I found really really useful.
Honestly, I had to be the crank that bashes Apple. But I've had a lot of other problems with iOS 5.0.1 on both my phone and my iPad. It appears this new operating system was rushed out, with poor QC and lousy compatibility checks. When will a "5.0.2" come along to implement some patches?

HT201210 Update to iOS 7.0.4 failed - why is there no option to restore to backup?

*** apple!? An unknown error during the update wiped my phone to Recovery mode and is only giving me the option to restore to factory settings.Why cant I restore to my last backup? What happened to all of my data?

Have you checked on your PC for locally created backups? I also remember that iTunes has the bad habit of overwriting backups from time to time, so maybe check

Maybe if you find a backup containing all of the apps you could at least get the data. Best.
In the iTunes app go to Preferences/Devices and check how many different backups are there and the dates. Perhaps you missed being offered which backup to use to restore your iPhone.

Why was this ever changed? Why was it changed without asking/polling? Why is it so spread out? Why would it be purposely made, to make it difficult to browse the web? Why is there no option to change snooze in apple clock devices?

Why doesn't apple provide an option to change the snooze time on their devices?? I find this really stupid, it's one of the most obivious thing to add in an alarm clock. Yet that option isn't there! Why??!! Isn't iPhone meant to be the smartest phone in the world?? I'm starting to doubt that. Common apple!! Add an option to change snooze!!!!

I kind of had a feeling Apple wouldn't really have a direct line to themselves. They'd probably get too bombarded with questions. But I'd really love to know why they didn't add this option?? Why is it stuck at 9 mins snooze? And why 9 mins, what the ****?? That's a very odd snooze time. And would it be likely that they would add it in the near future? I don't like using 3rd party apps. They don't always work and they have to be running if you want the alarm to work.
