Why is this program so hard to navigate! I find it very un-intuitive.

So far very disappointed in the method of navigating this whole program. I can't even easily find a help chat or number to contact. I have been waiting over 24 hrs for an answer to a simple question on the forum.

I can see no other posts by you, so whatever you claim to have posted is not there. The rest is not useful. You have not provided even a hint of what problem you are actually trying to resolve nor any technical info like system specs or other stuff that may be relevant.

You do not need a Beta channel build of Firefox (which currently is 32.0b6) to use Flash as the issue was you needed Firefox 27.0 or newer to use the old Flash 11.1 plugin on Android '''4.4'''. after it came out on tablets/phones.
What Nexus 7 version do you have as there was a 2012 and a 2013 model. A easy way to tell if it is a 2013 is it has a camera on each '''back''' and front while 2012 only has one on front.
If it is the 2012 then it has a Nvidia Tegra 3 so the old Flash 11.1 Plugin is disabled.

Elements 10-how get it to email photos direct? Why is this program so awkward?

Just bought elements 10 and already unhappy. How do I get this program to email my photos? Why the hell is this getting to be a problem?
Last nite did what program said and no confirming email was ever sent to my inbox. Do I have to kick these people or are they asleep all the time?

Why does this program not stop when not highlighted.

When I highlight the execution of this program it runs through and stops. However when I take off the highlight then the program does not quit running. I have encountered this problem on other programs as well. What causes it?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
I took a look at your VI. I think the problem may be that you are using a Continue if True loop condition in your first While Loop. If you press the stop button wired to this condition or if an error is generated in your VI, that first loop will continue to run indefinitely. Try right clicking the loop conditional and changing it to Stop if True. You may then need to change your Less? function to a Greater? function within that same loop to preserve the intended behavior of your program

Why won't my external hard drive appear in Finder?

I have an Iomega 320GB SPHDU external hard drive which I was using as my backup disk for Time Machine and also to store other files (documents, photos, etc.). I have been using for some time now and never had any problems, however this morning, I plugged the hard drive into my MacBook Pro, which is from early 2011 and on operating system OS X 10.9.4, using the USB ports and the hard drive did not appear in Finder. I checked to see if it had appeared in Disk Utility which it does, but Disk Utility is telling me that the hard drive needs repairing. When I try to repair the hard drive, I get the message 'Disk Utility can't repair this disk. Back up as many of your files as possible, reformat the disk, and restore your backed up files.' As I said I have never had any problems with it before, but this has just occurred this morning and I'm unsure why it has happened.

Because there's a problem with the disk's directory structure; these are often the result of improperly unplugging drives or forcing a computer to shut down. Proceed as instructed, or try using a more powerful utility such as DiskWarrior to repair it.

Why is this not sorted properly? (filenames in Finder)

Dear all,
I have scanned a bunch of pictures. When the date was available, I included the date in the filename. When not available, i put the date of the scan.
My understanding of "alphabetical order" also with number is that I should be able to sort them by date based on the filename.
Isn't 2013xxxx > 1992xxxx > 1979xxxx ??

Why was this included with reader?

Why was this program included with Adobe reader? I did not want Photoshop elements installed on my computer. If I had a choice to accept the download or not that would be fine but the choice was not even given to me. This program was piggybacked onto reader without my approval. If I want an Adobe product I will go and get it but I do not appreciate having the product loaded on my computer in this manner. It is bad enough that we have to use Reader to view PDF's as this is a bloated product. I do not want other Adobe products forced on my computer as well. end of rant.

How come this program compiles?

i get very confused here. in the main, the value of "i" will be printed to the standard output even before the class Pri is instantiated! how come this program can compile?

This is because your class Pri extends Base. Because you didn't specify any class Pri constructor, java automatilcally created a no-argument constructor of class Pri with a call to the superclass constructor Base(). You can validate this by adding another Base constructor with arguments and then removing the no-argument Base constructor. Pri() will not compile.

Very strange behavior. Don't entirely give up on the "Manually Added Items" category ... I have seen things magically appear there even after I've checked and seen nothing there. I think things got real quirky when Apple released iCloud ... I don't remember extra copies of purchases lingering on my iPhone once transferred to my library before that. Sure, if I bought an album directly to my iPhone it would stay on there even after I sync to my library, but if I deleted the album from the iPhone it stayed deleted. Now it seems that there are some phantom copies that come and go with no explanation.

If you're re-downloading an album to iTunes and your iPhone, that may perpetuate the problem. What happens if you completely delete every copy of the album, then just download to your iTunes library and then sync the album to your iPhone from your library? A few other things to try:

but for ServletUtilities, im not sure where they got that,
i dont see in any part of the code that import or create an instance
for ServletUtilities :-( better to check the code for typo error
or contact the author regarding ServletUtilities.

All I want to do is upgrade two phones ... WHY IS THIS SO HARD? And, WHY CAN'T VERIZON DO THIS???!!!

In the past month, I've spoken to dozens of Verizon reps on the phone, been disconnected a few times, been at 4 different stores, been told several different things by EVERYONE, been told "oh sure, we can do that" only to be told by someone else "no we can't" ... how can you run a business like this??!!!
I AM SO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW I COULD SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First, it was because our account was listed as a monthly paid cash account,
then, it was because we were trying to get phones at a franchise store,
then, it was because our account was set up as a business account (according to the Verizon rep I met at Wal-Mart, even though the Vz reps on the phone tell me it's listed as a personal account AND I sign onto our account as a personal account)
then, we were told to order our upgrades on over the phone (but then we were told we would have to pay for the phones and wait for a debit card rebate to be mailed to us, which my husband does not want to do)
then, we were told to order the upgrade phones online, but every time I try I get a processing error,
then, the computer tells us to call a specific phone number if we believe the error was not right,
then, the phone recording message repeats itself through multiple options TWICE and then hangs up on me,
then, I call another Verizon number and get a "helpful" rep who tells me we can order them on the phone ... only to come back to me after being on hold and telling me they have gone home for the day,
then, I try to get help online at Verizon.com and NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP ME.
I've been to Wal-Mart 3 or 4 times, been to the local franchise store, been to a store in the Chicago area, and have spoken with Verizon reps on the phone until I'm blue, and, still ... STILL ... I don't have new phones.

We have been a Verizon customer for over 16 years, apparently that means NOTHING.

That is because the people who edit the posts are NOT CS agents but instead are people who are employed by the vendor Verizon has contracted to host the forum. I don't even believe they are Verizon employees, but employees of the Jive forum platform.
For example, if a Verizon store had an electrician repairing the lighting in one of their stores, you wouldn't necessarily walk in and expect them to get off their ladder to assist you with information about a phone since they had nothing better to do than to work on the lights. First of all, they aren't salesmen or CS agents. Second, they may not even have the capability to give you the assistance you are requesting.

It sounds like you had been updating the phone and now it is in recovery mode. Take a look at this info first:
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.
If you are unable to get out of Recovery Mode, use the following article to restore your device with iTunes:

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

The stop button is checked once in every iteration of the while loop, which includes waiting for the for loop to complete its 9 iteration.
The for loop takes 9 seconds to complete because of the time delay, therefore clicking the stop button can take upto 18 seconds, depending on whether the button has been read yet.
