Why is this taking so long?

I've been at this for a while now. Its almost two full days since the official release and I still have over 5,000 songs to upload. What am I doing wrong?
I would like to know what others are experiencing.

On my 2nd official day with nonstop uploading to iTunes Match and still 5,000 to go.

What is the exact message you are receiving? It shouldn't take so long to download and install the software.

Cancel the downloads and reset the iPad (Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts off. Ignor the off slider. Then turn the iPad back on). Go back to the Purchased screen in the I.tunes app and redownload. You may want to down load one at a time.

Solution:
After trying EVERYTHING this is the ONLY thing that worked-
I took the USB connector cable out of the USB port it was in, and tried another one on the otherside of my laptop and iTunes was able to discover my phone in recovery mode. My phone was reset and everything is fine ( thank gosh for backup copies!)

You have to connect the iPad to your computer to update.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Why is it taking so long to download and watch on apple tv 3gn

I'v bought an Apple tv and its been nothing but trouble. Iv purchased Downton Abbey series 3 three days ago and have only been able to watch one episode as its going to take hours to finish downloading. Why is this happening? Why does it take so long? I know people that download illegally and get it much faster. But this is not what has sparked my anger, this come when i have spent 3 hours downloading the third episode and my partner says she want to watch the last 15 minutes of the first episode, I couldn't believe it i had to download it again, this is not on and something need to be done with this. and before anyone asks Nothings wrong with our broadband we on the optic. I hope theirs an answer for this ridiculous technical problem.

Please assist.

How long is "so long"?
Some product downloads are up to 1.6GB; that can take some time - very much depending on your Internet connection. Check http://www.download-time.com/
For a test, I just downloaded Illustrator CC 2014 (1.6 GB), and the download completed within 13 minutes (and I am 10,000 km away from the Adobe download servers).
Try downloading from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2014-direct-download-links.html - make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions on that page.

Why is it taking so long to back up on my external hard drive?

I have a WD 1TB 3.0 USB external hard drive & im transfering 200GB of data.
Why is it taking so long to back up all my data onto my exernal hard drive using time machine?
I turn it on every day for about 12 hours to backup.
I think it will take about 4-5 days to complete, is this normal?

It shouldn't take this long. Close your iTunes and remove the device.
Try this,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
After restarting, you may get a prompt to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and Sync and see if it is working now.

Why is it taking so long to copy a folder?

I'm trying to copy my Aperture library to a different location on my computer to facilitate accessing it on another computer. The library size is 237GB. It's taking approximately five seconds per megabyte which, at this rate, will take approximately forever. All other programs are off. Why is it taking so long? I've never had thi sproblem (if it is a problem) when copying other folders.

You don't mention what the source and destination drives are, how they are hooked up or how much free space there is on the destination, all of which can affect copy speed.
However the Aperture library package always exhibits this behavior regardless of size. The initial estimate of time is astronomical but after a period of tie the copy speeds up and the estimate drops rapidly.
The library package is made up of a number of files and folders and there are numerous sqlite databases. I believe the (though I have no proof) that the sqlite databases are behind this.
As I said in most all cases once the initial phases is over the copy proceeds at a more normal pace.

Why is itunes taking so long updating the latest version of itunes 11.1.4 ?

I have this same exact issue, however only with music. It happens when files are added in anyway: dragged, automatically added, opened from safari.
I have Mountain Lion, a new MacBook Pro with Retina, and iTunes Match turned on. I have a feeling iTunes is trying to match/upload the songs first. I've just added 10 songs, iTunes said they were copied over but they don't show up in my library but I can see the cloud icon "working".
EDIT: That's not the reason, the songs finally showed up but they are still waiting to be matched.

TS4036 Why is icloud taking too long to create backup, seems as though it's frozen.

This is my first time I use iCloud to back up my phone. I purchased an additional 20GB for a total of 25GB of storage. According to my phone, I have 17.3 GB of free memmory. My question is this: Why is it taking so long to create a backup? My phone is reading "Backing Up" and "Estimating time remaining" for about 10 mins thus far and the progress bar is still at the original point it started 10mins ago. There has been no progress and still have no estimated time remaining. What is going on with my phone? Should I just give up and get Apple to refund me the $20 for the additional space? Thanks!

Hold the Power button until your MacBook turns off and turn it on again.
If you don't see anything on the MacBook's display and OS X is not starting up, reset the SMC > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 Then, turn on the Mac and hold the Shift key while your Mac is starting up to start up in safe mode, so you can start up your computer without loading other apps. Finally, uninstall Seagate apps > http://forums.seagate.com/t5/GoFlex-Net-GoFlex-Home/How-to-uninstall-on-Mac/m-p/ 92100
After uninstalling the apps, restart again and see if OS X Mavericks can start up. If not, hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting and reinstall OS X. If this doesn't work, you will have to erase the drive.
I don't recommend you to install the Seagate apps, as you probably don't need them

Why is it taking so long for my money to show up in my bank account?!

I sent money from paypal to my bank account sunday 7/26/15 from what I read it takes 3-5 business days to clear from paypal to my bank account well today is 7/29/15 and my paypal account says "completed" but the money is not in my bank account! what is going on and why is it taking so long?! This is not making me very happy...

Well 3-5 business days = 29th-31st so the time is certainly not up yet.
