Why is verification required thing popping up when I'm trying to update my apps
dear Apple I'm trying to update some of my a and it says verification required. The apps I got didn't cost money. Those apps were free. The worst part is that my iPad has this ******** program called eSpark. they block to much stuff. They request to many education apps. If anyone knows how to fix this let me know.Anothe thing is that I have no none option. And it says your card was declined try a different pay method. OMG APPLE FIX THIS AND COME OUT AND RELASE IOS 8.4! YOU BETTER FIX VERIFACTION REQURIED TO MAKE THAT ATOP POPPING UP WHEN IM UPDATING MY APPS.
Another ID will show up when downloading if that ID is signed in to the App store. You can sign out of the ID in settings-iTunes &App store, tap the ID and choose sign out. You can also sign out via the app store, choose featured, on the bottom left you will see the id, tap it and choose sign out. Then the download will prompt "Use existing Apple id", tap that and sign in with your apple ID. ** in both scenarios, the Apple ID will show as "greyed out" and will not allow you to tap if "Accounts" are set to "don't allow changes" in Restricitons.
For updates, another ID will come up if the app needing the update was downloaded by that ID. Choose cancel when prompted for the password and it will continue and ask for another ID if other apps dwonloaded with other ID need updates

All iPhone apps are digitally signed using the Apple ID they were purchased with. You CANNOT change this. You either enter the password for the original Apple ID, or you delete the App and download a new copy using the new Apple ID. Free apps that do not have lots of in-app content (like your Solitare High Score) are not a problem. Paid apps and free apps with lots of built-up/earned content can be very annoying as you have to re-pay for the app and/or build-up/earn that content again.

You should be able to log out of an account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and you can then log in with your new account.
Any content that you downloaded with your old account will remain tied to that old account, so only that account can potentially redownload them and/or download updates to its apps. You should be able to reset the password on an iTunes account via http://iforgot.apple.com e.g. by answering the account's security questions. -
My old Apple ID keeps coming up when I am trying to update my apps on both the iPhone and iPad. When I check the settings on each devices, it shows the new id.
What can I do to get this fixed
johnApps and other stuff you download are always linked to the ID you used to download. You need to update the app with the ID that you used to download the app in the first place and the password for that ID

I am trying to update from iOS 7.1 to iOS 7.1.1. When I enter my Apple PW, (the PW I used to log on to this site) it says it's invalid. What I'm I missing? I really have no other ideas as to what PW's it could be asking for. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!Since the update verifies you by your Apple ID, it needs the password that is associated with your apple ID (which may be different from the password you use here with your user name). So, you need to use the password you use to purchase apps, music, etc.

Invalid signature pops up when i'm trying to update to iTunes 10.4, what should I do?
I Want to update to iTunes 10.4, but a message appears stating: "iTunes + Quicktime" has an invalid signature. It will not be installed." What am I supposed to do? I tried repairing iTunes from the add/remove program on my computer, i'm using Windows XP. After the repair I tried updating again, but the same message appears.
I was having the same issue on Win XP, Invalid signature. Then when going to the apple site using Chrome browser would get the message below. I opened Firefox and was able to download and run the executable. Order is restored!

No such model. You have an iPod Nano (which generation?) or an iPod Touch.

New Document is one click in the lower left of the opening window! You could write an AppleScript to avoid that one click, but that may not be worth the candle.
Note that after that one click you can save an additional click by specifying 'Use template:<your chosen template>' instead of 'Show Template Chooser' in Numbers > Preferences > General.

Im trying to update my apps and it wont let me. When i clicked on an app to update it or to download a free app it says "sign in required, tap continue and sign in to view your billing information" when i did it says "you must verify your payment info before you can makes purchases" then "security code is invalid" when the security code is valid. I even switched credit card it keeps saying the same thing....... THIS IS NOT FAIR........ I WANNA UPDATE MY APPS!!!!! Btw idk why did i buy the ipad for, APPLE dont even let you download ADOBE FLASH PLAYER and must of the games required ADOBE FLASH PLAYER to play example: wizard101. Idk what i was thinking...... :(

Considering Adobe dont (sic) even make Flash Player for iPads, this seems about right. How can you download something that does not exist? -
When I am trying to download an app, my friend's APPLE ID is popping up by default as he had used it first after purchase of the instrument. How to change this default ID to my ID?
All purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that originally bought them and will require it to update in the case of Apps.
If you don't want to be using your friends Apple ID, I suggest the following:
Settings->General->Reset->Erase All Content and Settings.
Then set up the iPad with your Apple ID as new.
Alternatively you can just go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign Out, and then Sign in with your own.
But again Apps will still request your friend's Apple ID to update every time.
