Why is youtube displaying like this?

i tried clearing the cache, didn't work. I tried resetting safari by deleting history,cookies, etc that also didn't work. I tried restarting, didn't work. I tried updating things via software update, that also didn't work. I tried turning off adblock, didn't work.
it is only like this on the main page, searching, and watching videos. If i go to someone's channel, it looks normal.
It only does this for safari, everything looks normal in firefox.
of course someone will say "well use firefox" but on a mac, i prefer to use safari.

Quit Safari.
Try uninstalling the reinstall a new copy of the Flash Player plugin..
Uninstall Flash
Install Flash
Since you are running Snow Leopard make sure Safari is running in 32-bit mode, not 64. Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode. Also, (in that same window) make sure Safari is NOT running in Rosetta.
Relaunch Safari.

I created one Custom Property for Date and use that property in XML Form Builder. In the RenderList that Date Field Display as (Medium Format) showing like this Apr 21, 2009 Format.
But i requirement is to display Date Field as like this 21-Apr-2009 (DD-MON-YEAR) Format.
In the Custom Property i set the

Can anyone explain to me why my picture looks like this?

Okay, I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting a link to another forum. The reason I'm doing this is so that I don't have to keep covering the same questions over and over again. In this previous forum I have already answered probably most of the questions you might ask, plus I have posted a picture of what my computer is doing to some of my pictures and I've posted a link to a RAW file where so far no one else has been able to duplicate the problem. Last week I downloaded the latest update to CS6 and since then I'm having this problem which is why I don't believe this is an issue with my CF card, camera, cable, or card reader. Again, if I'm violating proper forum etiquette I'm sorry, I just didn't want to have to keep repeating myself. Hi folks - I am a member of the Canon "Photography On The Net" (POTN) forum where the OP has asked the same question and to which she attempted to link in this forum. The problem she appears to be having is that when she opens and edits 5DII raw files and saves them in PSCS6 as JPEGs the JPEGs end up with the appearance typically seen with a corrupt raw file (like one in which a read or write problem has occurred with a card reader). The strange thing is, the raw file itself can be opened within ACR and brouhgt into PSCS6. There appears to be some issue, according to the OP, with a particular threshold of JPEG compression that may be resulting in the bad JPEG file's appearance. She is trying to find out if anyone is having similar issues with their most recent update to PSCS6 possibly causing similar problems.
The workflow, as much as I have been able to gather, is that the OP does not have a CF card reader, so she downloads the raw files via USB. Although she has not stated explcitly how she does it, she then converts the raw files to DNG. Each DNG is opened in ACR via mini-bridge and then brought into PS for editing. Once the edits are performed, the file is saved as a JPEG. For purposes of her print work, she decided that saving at max JPEG quality 12 was imperative.
Initially, turning down the quality to <10 cleared up the issue, but then some images that were converted to black and white (although I do not know if the files themselves were still RGB or grayscale) and saved at quality level 8-9 caused the same saved JPEG appearance, as one would tpyically see in a corrupt raw file. Although the black and white versus color thing may be a red herrring, the sporadic issue apparently persists under certain circumstances that may or may not be niformly reprodicible.
So, the bottom line is that the OP is trying to find out where in the workflow chain this error might be occurring and how to fix it. I also tried breaking the raw file linked above via yousendit and had no problems saving it to sRGB, aRGB, grayscale, using both Save As... and Save for Web in CS6 with no problems. I tried all of these variations at both JPEG 12 and JPEG 8-9.
Apparently the computer and install of CS6 is new as of late last year. I do not know the OS, but it is a Windows machine. All of the "testing" I did was on a Mac.
My guess is that the OP is trying to find out if anyone in the Adboe forum community has heard of similar issues, especially after the latest update to PSCS6, as this problem has just started to occur and the recent upate is the most obvious thing, timing wise, that would coincide with the issue's appearance. It could also be a corrupt hard disk, or computer-related issue, but I am not a Windows user so I will defer in that regard.
I'll also take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Adobe forum - hello everyone! Post number one complete.

Here is an example of one of the saved-from-within-PSCS6 JPEG files with the issue, posted by the OP in the thread on the other forum - I ahve reposted it here with assumed permission from the OP - if this presents a problem (forum rules, etc.) please notify me and I will remove it. Frankly, I don't think it would be objectionable to the OP and will hopefully serve to clarify the issue furhter.

Why are my pictures like this????

I used to have a Dell laptop before getting a MacBook Pro. When I took it into my college's computuer store to be fixed one time, I received it back with all my photos on the harddrive ruined. The pictures themselves were not distorted but portions of the photo had different hues (ex., one half would be normal and then another half had a yellow hue). The lines marking the two parts could go in any direction and any hue color has happened. The store told me unfortunately there was nothing I could do. Even the thumbnails of the photos were showing this problem.
However, when I transferred all my photos over to my MacBook Pro, I realized that although the color distortions were still there, the thumbnails were perfectly fine and not indication there was a problem. Is there any way to restore my photos from the thumbnail image, and why are they like this in the first place?!?!?!?

Its stuff like Adobe Reader (ex...Documents and Data = 8.5MB, but on Usage tab it reflects 17.1 MB and I have nothing saved there). Other stupid things like a Flashlight I downloaded months ago. It too reflects Documents and Data = 1.7MB but the usage tab reflects 7.0MB. Again I get and understand the games and apps where I have a profile saved with info, but the two examples above is more concerning and I have quite a few more apps just like it.

ok, it was the dual monitor set-up. different resolutions. the dell ultrasharp must stay @ 1920 x 1000 and the mbp must stay @ 1680 x 1050 (even if it doesn't want to). thanks for looking. it made me find the solution.

Why is this page displaying like this?

I'm trying to convert this page so that the layout is based on server-side include files but since doing this the page is displaying incorrectly. What have i done wrong?

The error messages make it fairly clear what you have done wrong. The include files aren't where you say they should be.
The include commands are looking for files at ../includes/filename.php. They should probably be looking for includes/filename.php.

Why can't I download itunes 10.5 and why has it been like this for days and apple hasn't fixed it yet?

I have tried multiple times to download itunes on my pc with windows 7. At this point I am incredibly frustrated and have come to the conclusion that a) apple so doesn't care about the pc users that purchase their products b) itunes is apparently not meant to be user friendly since many people can't even download it and c) the people employed by apple aren't that bright since that can't make a working version of a program that they have put out not once or twice but over 10 times...

I had the same experience. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, with Windows 7 Home Edition, 32 bit.
I tried to install iTunes 10.5 and it started installing, then, just before the end of the process, came up with the following error message:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
Of course, no information on what the program that couldn't be run was! At first I tried the usual stuff, like scanning for viruses etc. but nothing doing. Then I started Googling. In the end, I uninstalled all Apple stuff from my computer. A lot of it I had to do manually, going in to the program files drive and deleting stuff from there, but some of it wouldn't delete as it was saying it was open in Windows Explorer. In the end, I managed to delete the iTunes folders by selecting one of my mp3 tracks saved on the computer and right clicking 'open with'. I then browsed my pc to locate the iTunes folders still outstanding and was able to right click and delete them that way.
Then emptied the recycle bin and did a restart before going online and downloading iTunes 10.5.
Thankfully it worked, but its taken me a good few hours and made me really quite tetchy! I've never had this problem before, so I hope this is going to be a one off.
One thing that doesn't seem to be working is that, despite how many times I tell it that my preference is for the iTunes Media folder to be located on my external hard drive, it keeps putting it back to the C drive! Didn't have that issue with the last version. Grrrrrr. Arrrrgggh.
Hope you manage to get yours sorted - this is affecting a lot of people by the look of things.

Why does Youtube display text in Chinese?

Youtube pages viewed in Firefox (36.0.1) on my Mac Mini running OSX 10.9.5 display some, but not all, of the text in Chinese. Pages display correctly in Safari and Chrome. I have reinstalled and refreshed Firefox with no change.
Changing View/Character Encoding to Western changes the display to English characters, but the words are gibberish.

It is the second screenshot that shows the wrong encoding.
I missed that that screenshot was when you switched to Western, so that is to be expected.
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Why is the sound like this?

I have just finished one of my project, and now I notice, that when the person talks, starting at 1:05, the sound is not that good. Why is it? It sounds perfect on my computer when I play it. So what is wrong??

Just look at the waveform...the peaks are badly clipped. Either the audio was recorded to hot or gain accidentally raised while editing. This should have been noticed in the Master Audio Meter while editing.

Why does Mail behave like this?

More often than not, when I try to either respond to an email, or generate a new one, Mail just hangs. It will continue to do this until either 1) it finally gives up and says to select another server, or 2) I quit Mail, then open it again, at which point the outgoing mail swooshes away like it should have the first time. I would say this happens 8 out of 10 times.
The other thing that's driving me nuts is servers I have deleted from the server list keep coming back. I've tried repairing permissions right after deletion, but that doesn't help.
These two issues come together when I let Mail continue to try to send while it hangs, then it pops up and tells me it can't do it with that server, try another... and the servers I've deleted are back on the list again; sometimes, Mail has tried to use one of the re-appearing servers, or it'll offer one of them as an option.
THis is maddening. Anyone have an idea how I can get these things to stop?

On the Mail problem, Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
On the Server issue, are they listed in Accounts>Login Items, or set to Automount?

Why does Color flash like this when I edit footage?

I'm working with ProRes 422 footage and I keep getting this flash. Whether the footage is rendered or not, I keep seeing this.

It's not normal and is probably due to some peculiarity of your general computer setup and FCS creating some form of conflict.
All I can suggest is try the usual troubleshooting/spring cleaning steps such as Repair Disk Permissions with Disk Utility and trash preferences with http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/
If these measures don't work you could create a new user account and run FCS from that.
I assume that apart from being disconcerting the flashing has no bad effect on the final video?

I'm not understanding what you mean by a "continuous frame", and I've don't recall ever being able to doubleclick on a frame to insert a keyframe, but you may be using a version of Flash that I'm not familiar with in those ways. It'll probably be best to see if someone else comes along who knows/understands what you mean.

Why do clips organize like this? 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14?

so i want to rename my clips sequentially but when i put them in the browser and sort them by name they don't sort 1, then 2, then 3....but rather, 1, then 10, then 11, then 12. How can I fix this? I want to organize by name and have a medium thumbnail. THANKS!

What you should do is start the naming with 01, 02, 03 (or, if a massive amount of clips...001, 002. 003...etc.)
FCP reads the first numeral first, so it will default to 1, 10, 11, 12...19, 2, 20, 21...29, 3, 30 31...etc.
