Why isn't iTunes displaying any of my installed apps?

The phone is sync'd and authorized to the same account as the new laptop. Everything but apps are displayed for editing in iTunes.

Why isn't itunes letting any one burn a disc

I have itunes 11.0.4 with a Windows 8 program . It will not allow to burn a disc or back up discs as the older versions did. This is very upsetting because my friends were depending on me to help save their vinyl recordings to disc. I can print a jewel case track list and cover art , but burn a disc NO. I keep getting UNKNOWN ERROR 4310. In my estimation this is a terrible loss for people trying to help other people keep music not available on cd. Who ever thought of this needs their head examined. I can't possibly be the only one trying to do save the vinyl to cd. Please itune give back that capability . iTunes 7 is the slowest application on my computer. Autocad and Photoshop start twice as fast on my computer as iTunes does. I think that Apple should rewrite the whole application. It's not an easy task but if Apple wants to keep making money of iTunes it's needed to be done.
Not everyone has processing power of my or better machine, imagine running iTunes on a single core CPU with some older hardware and having 10000 songs, podcasts, audiobooks and movies in the library. NIGHTMARE!!!

Why can't I update any of my installed apps?

I have been having a real difficult time downloading the apps in the Creative Suite. I got lucky
and got the Photoshop, Bridge, and Dreamweaver apps downloaded and installed, but now I cannot
get those programs updated. Still, the same pop-up message I get is, "installation (or update) failed".
Any suggestions?

I have windows vista home premium and all other iTunes worked on my laptop, I downloaded iTunes 10 and now the iTunes will not connect to the Internet. I use Mozilla firefox on my laptop and for some reason it keeps saying the connection timed out and I'm not connected to the Internet when I am. Why isn't iTunes recognizing my web configuration?

It probably has to do with your security and/or browser configuration.
When my laptop crashed last year and I had to get a new one, I dealt with the same thing. First, go to your control panel and select the security section. See if your firewalls are up or not. If they are, turn them off. If you have any software to speed up your browser, that can affect the connection as well. Go into that software and disble/turn it off. If this doesn't work, contact customer support. They have a few other tricks they had me try that worked, but I can't remember them now.

I am unable to delete any of the installed apps on my iPad2. If I press on the icon i wish to delete, it merely starts shaking but does not show me the X sign for the delete.

Check your restrictions:
Settings>General>Restrictions>Deleting Apps
The Hide features is no longer available.

Why can i not hear any sound on my apps?

New Iphone 4, i can hear clicks, my itunes works - but i cant hear any sound on my apps? Ive checked settings and audio, but no luck. Tried playing with the volume buttons too....

If you quit the app and restart it, the sound will return.
To truly quit an app :
Press the home button to leave the app.
Double click the home button, this will reveal your recent apps,
The last one you used will be on the left. Press and hold the app's icon
And a 'x' will appear at the corner of the icon. Press the x and the app
Will quit.
Click the home button again, then restart the app in question.
Your sound should now be working.
I don't know why the sound stops, this happens to me on all my
IOS devices, iPhone, iPad, iPod.
Hoping some future update fixes the problem, but until then my
Method works.

Why can't I see any of my synced apps on 5s?

I've updated all apps, updated iTunes, arranged everything as I want, and synced my 5s. I cannot see any of my downloaded apps. I download a new app...I can watch it download onto my screen, and them it disappears. My Settings say the apps are ON the phone...but...where the blue heck are they?

The next step after restore from backup is restore as new. Then test the device, and if it works, then restore from your backup. If the problem comes back, it is a problem in your backup. You would need to restore the device as new again and sync back your content individually.

Why does Lightroom keep disappearing out of my installed apps list in Creative Cloud?

I can't load any of my installed apps on my ipad

I was downloading data to an installed app, Foreflight. The download was very large about 3 GB so I left it downloading overnight. When I looked this morning the IPad had auto shut down with data remaining to download. However, my IPad won't launch any apps other than the preinstalled apps like Safari. In settings it shows 7 GB of awaiable memory, but my music and video is missing. Most important though is that my installed apps won't load. I've tried a hard reset. Any ideas?

Does the downloaded app icon show Waiting? If so, tap the icon & it should resume the download.

Why isn't iTunes able to access iTunes Match?

After activating iTunes match on my work laptop it seems to pass all 3 steps fine...but then it does not make any of my songs appear. The little cloud icon keeps scrolling inside but nothing....even after 12 hours.
Would love to get this working.

Ok so an update, after loads of tries to get this to work I have noticed a few things that always occur.
1. All 3 steps pass every time and I get the "Your music is now available in the cloud" with the 'done' button.
2.Once it says done I get a barber-shop cloud icon next to the music dropdown, which will freeze after about 10 secs and crash iTunes.
3. Once I reopen iTunes I have the dreaded lightning symbol in the cloud icon which when clicked will barber-scroll forever.
Once, I have no idea how, I managed to get my library to display as grey text...needless to say that the lightning icon was still there and the music was unresponsive, when I tried to sign out of match iTunes crashed once again. Match is working fine on my phone / tablet connected on the same network.
Before I sign into match, but have signed into the store (after fresh iTunes install) my purchased (from iTunes) music appears and plays instantly. Unfortunately, this would be a very small fraction of my library.
Why am I crashing and why will match not work as intedned?

I am trying to install itunes on my new VAIO laptop 64 bit with Windows 8.1 operating system. At the end of the installation, as soon as itunes is trying to open, an error message comes up, saying "an error has caused the program to stop running." I tried the compatibility troubleshoot, it says "incompatible program". Does that mean, even latest version of itunes can not run on windows 8.1? If there is any solution, please advise. By the way, I have tried to run it on compatibility mode for windows 7 , windows vista etc, no luck. Thank you.

Why won't iTunes display the content tabs at the top of the screen?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 5.1 so that I can sync my MacBook Pro with my new iPad. Now I can't figure out how to select and transfer my photo albums - nothing with my photo albums is displaying on the iTunes screen or in the Library.

So I setup my ipad as a new iPad and even after putting iTunes back on it. If I deselect what I want to sync and then sync again those items are simply not removed.
You would think after this long that Apple would have the ability to thoroughly regression test this stuff.

The photo above is only the start of my current issues.
Bascially after moving my music from my Macbook HD to a seperate Wifi HD in my house iTunes can not "locate" my music. That is kind of a seperate issue, as I know how to put music back on to my computer from the Wifi HD. THe reason I moved it was that I was consuming 90% of my 320G memory.
Now I am getting this iCloud error message on almost every single iTunes song I have bought. That is thousands and thousands of pounds of music cant be played.
This iCloud problem is also effecting iMatch to my iPhone and iPad as well...!!!
Anyone have any ideas whats going on ????

HI THanks for this helpful post. I will try this. I have 2 iPods. One is 3rd Gen. I love the little small square, so I bought it on ebay. Then I got a little iPod nano ( again a tiny square shape)
So I tried to sync them today and update them.
This is the response I got.
I get a message that the original file cannot be found and asks if I want to try and locate file. I locate the file and it's empty?!
This freaked me out because I have all this music I love. The only thumb drive is my back up drive which is not a thumb. Will the back up drive have my music files too?

That sounds really strange, I can't imagine how some classes could be filtered out. There is no filtering mechanism built into the JVM, the Management Console or Flight Recorder.
Are you 100.00% sure you are connected to the right JVM and that your application has loaded correctly?
I've been assuming that my applications classes (plus those other api classes above) just don't take up more than half a percent of the heap. Is that right? If so, then that's "a good thing"! Right?
There is a cut off around 0.5%, if it's good or bad thing depends on what your application is supposed to do :)
If you want to see all classes with the exact count you can use the Memory Leak Detector, but you have to go to Window -> Preferences-> JRockit Mission Control->Memory Leak Detector->Trend and set the instance count threshold to zero.
