Why isn't junk mail going into its folder

I get a lot of spam and a few weeks ago, it went into my junk folder which pulled if off my iphone and ipad. Now the junk mail just stays in the inbox.
What is causing that or this?
Can I fix it?

Try rebuilding your mailboxes ...

Is the folder actually called "Spam" or do you mean the "Junk" folder?
A "Spam" folder is not part of Mail, while a "Junk" folder is.
If it is going to "Junk" then check for any Rules in Mail preferences that might be causing it. If there aren't any, try Resetting the Junk email filters in the Junk Mail tab of preferences.
If it is "Spam," then check with Gmail or whatever email service you are using that is routing it there at the server level.

E-mail going into trash folder instead of the normal destination

You should ask your email service provider for support. Firefox rarely has any kind of influence over this matters.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

From what I've read, the Podcast App needs some refinement before it can be considered as a suitable replacement for the Podcast section within the Music App. As you have discovered, deleting the App allows you to revert back to the old method.
I'll save everyone the trouble of "reading between the lines" here; I don't use the Podcast App, but from what I've read, it's rubbish!

Keeping the folder you are moving to the far left will do the trick.

Mail going into junk folder that's not junk

I have tons of emails suddenly going into my junk folder, but they are not even being marked as junk email. These are emails that used to always come in fine. It's happening to all my accounts, so I don't think it's to do with the provider, especially since one is my Mac account. Any idea what's going on?

All my new email is going into the Junk mail folder, even some old emails from one folder. Plus, my Rules aren't working when I apply them.

Found out the problem lies with SpamSieve - once I unchecked it in Rules, everything's back to normal. I guess there's not a Leopard-compatible version yet, but what a great service it is.

Why is Erase Junk Mail greyed out?

In Apple Mail, there is a command I previously used under the Mailbox menu - "Erase Junk Mail" - which is now greyed out (not available). I have a Junk mailbox and I have tried selecting the entire mailbox or a single message in this mailbox, but the command stays greyed out. Why? How do I make this an actice command?

I know it's a long time since your post but I just found the answer as I was having the same problem.
I had set up advanced preferences.
I reverted to "Move it to the junk mailbox" and the menu item was restored.

Received mail going into Adobe Media Player

Some multiple document emails are going into Adobe Media Player as if they were video. These files and/or documents are forms that need to be filed out and returned. Cannot open them in Adobe. It says: Playback Failed. There was an error while playing this video. ?s These are sent from a Mac to a Mac. These are not videos.

I suggest deleting Adobe Media Player, based on Adobe's announcement that it's no longer supported: http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/

Why are photostream photos on phone not going into photostream folder on PC?

I have an Iphone 4s. I am a new user. I have 518 photos in my photostream (PS) according to my phone. I have chosen the appropriate settings - like my photostream is on under the iCloud setting and wifi automatically connects when it's in range. Also under iCloud settings and Storage & Backup, iCloud Backup is on and I told it to backup (with it plugged in and locked as instructed). I installed the iCloud control panel on my PC-Windows Vista this evening for the first time. Now there are about 35 photos in my PC's photostream folder. I did the iCloud back up on my phone again. Same 35 photos in the PC's folder. Why aren't all 518 photos in the folder? Should there be a delay? Should I leave my phone on, my PC on, and the wifi connected all night to see what happens? I don't get it!

I just noticed the post has me down as running windows 7. I have a iMac running mountain lion.
