Why isn't my ipad display flipping
Both my iPad and my iPad mini screens won't change from portrait to landscape when I turn them. Anyone out there have any idea why this is happening? I did update a few apps today, could that be why?

The laptop has a more powerful wifi radio then the iPad. Try getting closer to the location where iPad can connect.

Why isn't my iPad mini syncing to itunes?
I'm having trouble syncing my ipad mini. when i press the sync button after selecting install on newly downloaded apps it just wont sync! it goes as far as 'determining apps to install' but then just stops, just like that without any warning or anything. why and how do i solve this problem?
What I always suggest is to quit iTunes, restart your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again. Start with that if you haven't tried it already.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Why isn't distance metadata displayed?
The bridge metadata display does not display distance (from camera to subject). There is no distance option under preferences-> metadata. However, the distance information is in the sidecar file. CS5 and prior showed this information but CS6 dosen't. Have I missed something, is this a bug, or is it some sort of a perverted new feature? Thanks for any help.
As I said in my original question: "There is no distance option under preferences-> metadata." That's why I wondered if there was a bug. When I look more closely, there is indeed a `subject distance'. I think the problem is that my new camera, a Nikon D7100, uses `approximate subject distance' instead. So I guess my next issue is how to get that to display in bridge. Now I'm not sure if I have an Adobe or a Nikon problem.

My ipad regularly shows "Searching..." And occasionally "No Service" when my iPhone 5, both from Verizon, has either 3G or 4G service. Why would the receptions be different?

I can't get my phone number to show up in (message) settings on my iPad. My IPhone is sending/receiving iMessages but my iPad is not. I've checked passwords and restarted both devices multiple times. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Make sure your iPad is using the same Apple ID as your phone in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. If it is, and you still don't see your phone number listed under "You can be reached by iMessage At", tap the ID, sign out, then after a minute or so, sign back in.

I have a macbook pro and an ipad ... both have which regularly connected to the web through my airport for two years ... now, my ipad won't connect ... and the genius bar says my ipad is ok. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause and the cure?
Can your iPad connect to other Wi-Fi networks? If so, is it possible that you may have configured your AirPort to restrict access to the iPad by including the iPad's MAC address in the AirPort's Timed Access Control settings?

Got the dreaded no wifi on my wife's iPhone 4S. Wifi greyed out and no luck with the reset network instructions. Why isn't Apple addressing this issue? We are a family of Apple product users, 2 ipads, an ipad mini, 4 iPhones but one isn't working! Issue began whenwe upgraded the operating system.....
Come on Apple.....get this issue sorted out!Just out of warranty. This is a software issue. everything was ok until the software update. Apple just need to sort it out.

Why isn't the "Find My iPad", "Find My Mac", etc. feature not automatically enabled in the iCloud Settings on every device? My iPad was stolen a couple days ago and it's been showing Offline under "Find My iPhone" feature so I started doing some research. Come to find out "Find My iPad" has to be enabled under the PRIVACY button in SETTINGS. I never knew that!!! That feature is highly needed for Apple products so can some explain why it's not already enabled on every device and actually has to be turned ON from the OFF position and not the other way around? Now some lucky person has stolen my iPad and I can't locate it because Apple wanted to give me the choice to enable it once it was already ******* stolen!

Since you give no clue as to what make/model/version WiFi router you are using or how you have it configured it's hard to comment.

My Ipad display is stuck on portrait mode. I tried the toggle switch, turning off and restart and just now backed up into Itunes and restored and still is stuck on portrait mode and it won't flip to landscape mode. Is this a hardware problem?
Has lock rotation been accidentally enabled within the control centre? If you swipe up the screen is there a circle with a lock symbol & if so is is greyed out or white - if white it is enabled.

Just checked. The png still does not display on iPhone(5) or iPad(3). The image was also made by me in pixelmator and both (png and jpg) were exprted from pixelmator.

You can't create new albums on the iPad either. The user interface looks different, but the functionality is essentially the same.
The route is to create new albums on the desktop, and then sync via iTunes.
