Why isn't my review appearing in the App Store?

I've been trying to write (and re-submit, wondering if something went wrong in the process several times) a (scathing) review for Ulysses III for the past few weeks, and while I see new reviews appearing for the app and I'm able to submit (and edit) my reviews for other apps, it isn't working for this particular app. In fact, I was quite frustrated the first few times as I first ran into this problem while trying to edit a review that I wrote for it that I thought was properly posted only to be greeted with completely blank text boxes upon clicking "Write A Review." (Because of this, I've started the habit of copying/saving the reviews I write for apps. Very frustrating.)
Why isn't this working? I spent $45 on this app that does not handle large documents well and would like others to know that very badly so they don't do the same if they plan on writing manuscripts—which is, as I learned tonight (and thus was reminded about this whole thing), what this particular app is being advertised for in the App Store.
Please help.

  • Why doesn't the download button appear on the App Store for some apps?

Hey. So, I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.4. And the download button doesn't appear on the App Store for some apps. So, I would be happy if someone could help me with this problem..

Remove the App Store app from Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
    - Swipe up on the App Store app preview card to remove it from the list
    - Press the home button when done.
    Try the App Store again

  • I do not know why, but I can not go to the App Store! before I went there without any problems but now I can not connect with App Store

I do not know why, but I can not go to the App Store! before I went there without any problems but now I can not connect with App Store

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Finder > Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy/paste:   ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Try the App Store.

  • As I can download to my device on google latitude iphone 4s since I live in Venezuela does not appear in the app store of my country. thanks

as I can download to my device on google latitude iphone 4s since I live in Venezuela does not appear in the app store of my country. thanks

I think the setting you're looking for is within the iWork apps; for example, Settings>Pages>Use iCloud>On.  Also be sure to set Settings>iCloud>Documents & Data to On.

  • Why do my reviews never appear in the App Store?

I have submitted several reviews of apps that I have used, each time writing them on my iPad from within the App Store. I finish them, click "submit," and then even weeks later, they have never appeared. I notice other reviewers have actually edited their old reviews; where are they going to find those reviews that will allow them to edit them? Is there a web interface or somewhere within iTunes (on the desktop) that I should be looking? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the same problem, i never see my own reviews on different apps, but we can edit it anytime with the same process as we write new review. For editing click on the app and click on review and if you have already posted a review then it will show the old review and you can edit it anytime, or if you are going to post review for the first time then it will allow you to post new review. For posting reviews you need to own that app first.

  • Why are display recorders always removed from the App Store so fast considering most online ones dont work and people really need something for recording?

I just need some help with figuring this out.

1- I don't want any iCloud, App Store and things like that working in any way.
No, you can not disable the App Store.  It is included on Macs running 10.6.6 or higher.
2 - I want to know if I can install in some way OSX 10.6 because 10.7 is very buggy and has much worse performances in every pro application I know and I suppose this is not only because it is a new OS but because the way it is created to stay always synced to a iCloud service and upgraded with the App Store, meaning the OS is always working to update/upgrade its status in iCloud/ App Store. And in general I don't have time to lose because Apple needs beta tester (even thought I think this time the problem isn't of the OS but of what you are asking to the OS... to update (and upload) its status everytime).
I have to use a system that works great, fast, without hassles and very reliable. That's the only reason why I choose Apple.
You can not install an earlier version of OS X than what originally came on your computer.  Even if you did, it could cause major headaches: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2186
3 - I don't use the internet in the computer I'm working with (because from every aspects it's better to not use internet in a computer you are working with, because it slowes down everything and makes the computer behaviour really unpredictable. Now I'm using a Mac Pro first gen and it runs like the first day, that's because I've never used internet on it, I have another one near to it where I used internet and works at half of its potential, even thought it is mainteinedly properly, cleaning, repairing, everything)
Most people in this day and age use the internet on their computers and have no problems that you speak of.
And I'd like to know if there are any hassle of any kind if you use the computer without internet
In # 3 you already stated you use one without the internet.

  • Why cant i buy download anything from the app store after the new ios7 update?

Why cant I download anything from the app store after updating to the ios7.02 system?

Do you have a song or podcast in iTunes that did not finish downloading? If you do - finish that one first. The apps will not update until that download is complete.
If that doesn't do it - sign out of your account - Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if you can tap on one app and start the download.

  • Why are my iDevices redirecting me to the App Store?

I hope Apple will get on the bandwagon and help with this issue! When using my iDevices, say on a web site... or even in another application, certain ads seem to be automatically redirecting to the App Store... without any clicks or input from the user.
You'll be surfing the web... and it does seem to happen more on those ad heavy sites... and when the iDevice comes across one of the rogue ads, it just automatically redirects to the App Store showing whatever app the ad was showing.
You don't have to click anywhere, it just seems to HAPPEN.
I don't think the app owner is doing this, and the next statement is totally just MY thought, but I think the ad companies the app owners are hiring to market their apps are doing it.
But, I really hope that Apple takes notice, and decides to help get RID of this problem! It totally makes for a non-Apple experience... and reminds me of Android something feirce. None of us want that.... in fact, thats WHY we put up with (Even embrace) Apples closed-wall system... because things like this DON'T happen. Except, they are happening...
Seems like this has been going on for a few months. And its on up to date devices, including the new iPhones and iPads. Simply saying, its not on jailbroken devices... and, I've talked to MANY users that experience the same thing.
SO, Apple, will you help please? And other users experiencing this... take the time to reply to this post saying so. Apple has a great track record with these kinds of things, so I know that a fix will come... soon... if we all tell our experiences.
    THANKS.

I will absolutely try this-- did you post this info because you KNOW it helps with THIS specific issue, or was it just general help info?
Either way it's worth a shot- but I'm wondering if this issue was noticeable by you and this is what fixed it... Or are you just an Apple whiz kid and posting info that MIGHT possibly or probably help?? Just clarification please.
Ultimately I would hope that apple does something specifically about this. Because amateur users surely won't know to do this. And, I'm really an apple power user, or so I think, and this issue has been plaguing my iOS devices.
Thanks. Your post has already been helpful. But, I won't say it's a fix just yet. And even if it is, can't or won't apple do something on their end so this doesn't even happen at all?
    Again thanks!!

  • Why can't I sign in to the App Store?

When I got Snow Leopard, I immediately tried to boot up the Mac App store to download Lion, but when I open the App Store and attempt to sign in, quite literally nothing happens.  Suggestions?

    Hi...
If you don't see the sign in sheet > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
And disable any security software such as anti virus before trying to access the App Store.
Make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
OSX v10.6.6 or later (V10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available spare
Please read before upgrading to Lion >  Lion upgrade questions: Apple Support Communities

That cryptic error message might mean that the payment information in your account is invalid. Check with your credit-card issuer to see whether a charge was denied. If not, see below.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • Why can't I download anything from the App Store?

I tried downloading a free app from the apple App Store but I now get a message saying there was a problem taking payments and I have to update my credit card details. This is confusing as the app is free and I have never tried paying for an app without having the money in my bank to pay for it. Why does it now tell me I ended credit card details to install an app and why has the error occurred with my bank details?

Check to make sure your credit card details (like expire date, etc) are current.

  • Why can't I get anything in the app store?

Everytime I open up the app store It won't let me touch the free button n won't let me get apps

This is a bug experienced by quite a few users lately that I'm sure Apple is aware of and working on. I have never had this problem, so I can't speak for myself, but I would try a reset. Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

  • Why is my iPad redirecting itself to the App Store

why when I click on a newspaper story (opened on the web not app) does my iPad suddenly redirect to the App Store? I've just done the latest iOS update and this hasn't helped

Apple seems to be having issues. Just wait it out and come back in a bit. If the issue is indeed on their end, nothing you can do with your device can fix it.

  • Why can't i find iBooks on the App store from my MacBook Air?

I have iBooks on my iPad and use it to store critical work PDF's.  I went to the App store on my MacBook

This is why people use Amazon...
You can't use iBooks on a desktop. You may want to give the Kindle app a try.

  • HT204053 Why can't I sign in to the App Store with my valid ID?

I can't sign into the App Store.  I've even changed my password to try to get it to work.  Every time I try I get "can't sign in now". Any thoughts?

Try this and see what happens. Quit the App Store, Sign out of your account completely, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.
