Why isn't my skype the same in my computer and in ...

I wish there is a number we could call. I'm so frustated with skype. I got a device from Logitech, called 
Revue and it cames with apps like skype, netflix....all we have to do is sign in if we already have an account. I have skype but it looks different...I don't see my friens names and phpne numbers. how do I get it back. Hoe about the skype logo that you can pick different looks? I can't find anything......Help

I am having a similar problem. My skype just shows my contacts, but there are no options to do anything except call the ones already there. I can't even add contacts when I know their skype address, because there simply are NOT any option keys anywhere.

    Are you using the virtual keyboard to input your password and you cannot see/find the characters you need on that keyboard?
    Or are you trying to use a bluetooth keyboard and pressing the printed key does not produce the right character?

    The keys on the sides of the space bar will shift the keys to a different set of characters. Pressing the ".?123" key takes you to another layout. On that layout the "#+=" key will shift to another set of characters. Between those 3 layouts you should have access to all of the symbols printed on a regular keyboard. You might want to check your keyboard and international settings in the Settings app if you think that may be an issue. If you are using key combinations to get symbols that are not printed on the physical keyboard, let us know so we can see if there is a way to generate the character/code on the iPad keyboard.

    you can change the accounts of different apps in the phone's settings menu.

    Why don't I have the same opoisions in my calendar for appointments? Online in iCloud calendar there are options to pick from for days of the week and how many weeks to set an appointment. Why can't I do this on my iPhone or iPad? Am I missing a setting to be able to do this? I make most of my apointments away from my desk and would like to send a invitation at that time.

    Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

    The purpose of iTunes match is to make your music library available to all of your devices anywhere. It will sync Playlists, but no other type of organization you may have made.

    I've checked your account—you have two ExportPDF subscriptions. One placed on October 20 2013, and the other placed on October 11 of this year. So, you were probably charged the auto renewal for the subscription placed in 2013, and then the new charge for this year's order.
    Please Contact Customer Care so that an agent can help get things situated for you. There's no reason to have two subscriptions to the same service, so an agent can help you cancel one, if you'd like.

    My UI preferences are set to identical settings in Illustrator and InDesign ("scale to lower supported scale factor") and AI looks perfect, ID is too big. Why don't they look the same if the settings are the same? Driving me CRAZY. I have my windows scaling factor at 124% and it needs to stay enlarged, otherwise nothing else on my system will be readable. The inconsistency of the workspaces is so annoying.

    If you want everything the same on both computers you need to be running the same OS X version. You can't because your iMac is a PPC machine, not Intel.
    But to see information about your hard drive is the same for both. Simply select the drive icon on the Desktop. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. Disk information is in the upper panel.

    I don't know much about samba, but I have had very similar problems with netbios in windows, I find it to be very unreliable and I think you would be better off with ftp, but that's just my opinion. Apart from that, are you sure you have the necessary ports opened, and so do they? And you might need a line in /etc/hosts.allow

    So, I work with number or pages. I have all dociuments in MAC format. But then I need to send my doc to somebody who has not a MAC and also APages/numbers.
    All I need is export my Doc. to PC compatible- BUT IF I am not at home and use FTP. One way is go home open an Pages Doc inn PAge and export for PC.

    Why is not an option- which let at the same time save my MAC DOC as for PC. similar as PDF make the PDF used the same DOC name.

    Is this happening with one particular network or with all?  Make sure iOS is updated on the device.
    Try this:
    Reboot ipad by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go. Then try to connect to network.
    Go to settings, Toggle airplane mode on/off. Make sure bluetooth is off. Turn on wif (airplane mode off). Try to connect.
    Reset Network Settings
    Go to settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Then try to connect to network.
    If its your home router, then reboot router by unplugging for 5-10min. (do this while you're resetting network settings).
    If problem persists, then check for firmware updates on your router.(you check router manufacturer support website for downloads and instructions).
