Why isn't Repair/Clone working in one spot?
I've done a lot work on a RAW file in Aperture 3.4.5. I've done enough work so that I REALLY don't want to go back to the original image and start from scratch.
One of the last things I did was use Shadow/Highlights to lighten the eye area on a statue that was side lit. One part of the face got too light. I've been trying to use both Repair and Clone to fix it, but they have no effect. It does not matter if I let Aperture chose or I option click on an area to clone. Apparently I have gone too far in my efforts to fix it that I run out of undos.
I just can't figure out why I can't touch up this area. The brushes are leaving brush strokes, but the color of the area stays the same. I'm going to try to include the image in this post—look at the area to the left of the left eye, and you'll see an oddly shaped area that is too light.
How can I fix this if repair and clone won't work, and why wouldn't they work?

Hard to see anything from the included image. Why don't you just remove the last adjustment you made and redo that one?
Also keep in mind you can have multiple bricks of the same adjustment with each brick affecting a different area of the image. This way if you want to redo one of the adjustments you can just remove that one and leave the rest of the image alone.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

go on settings and scroll down to "MESSAGES" make sure iMessages is ON, now scroll down just a bit and look for an option reading "send & Receive" click on it and make sure it is either your apple ID or your phone number, wait 1-3 hours or over night and it should work, sometimes it takes a while to activate, ive come across this issue many times, hope it worked!

I think that the Spam Detector runs before your custom filters, and custom filters only work on the inbox folder. If Spam Detector moved it from the inbox before the filters were run, then the filter wouldn't delete it.

Why isn't the iMessage on my iPhone 4s working? Up until about 1:45PM today it was working just fine but now it sends it as a text message. I have tried everything in the setting but it still is not working. Any tips would be great! Thanks!
It should be back up now, they had a system outage. Reset your iPhone.

Yoga 13 touchpad not working at one spot
Hi,
i bought an Ideapad Yoga 13 from amazon and it has one problem. One spot on the left side of the touchpad is not working. When I move my finger to that point, the cursor does not move and the little icon in the notification area of Windows 8 does not show any pressure. The area goes from top to the bottom of the touchpad but is only a few millimeters wide. This is very annoying when I move my finger from one side of the touchpad to the other for example when I'm dragging something with the cursor, because at this point the cursor just stops.
Could this be a problem with the driver or is my touchpad faulty and I should just send the Yoga 13 back? Also do I send it to amazon or lenovo?

One way to try this out is to Uninstall the Synaptics Driver and try the touchpad using windows driver if it still the same.
To Remove Synaptics Driver:
Go and open Control Panel / Programs and Feature / uninstall a program
You will see Synaptics as one of the programs, Uninstall that and restart the Computer.
Once restarted Try the touchpad and see if the problem is still there.
Verify that the synaptics driver is uninstalled by Checking the mouse properties
Open Control Panel / Hardware and Sound / Mouse
This option should be gone if the synaptics driver is uninstalled
If Without a driver, you're still having the same issue I would consider this as a Hardware Concern.
You can contact Amazon or Lenovo Technical Support about the issue.
If the problem disappeared without a driver
Try reinstalling the Synaptics driver by downloading and installing this

While this relates specifically to Leopard, perhaps you were falling foul of some driver issue.
Time to try updating your existing drivers and let us know. By the way, no, you were FAR from the only person with this problem. M-Audio have been very slow in getting drivers out. Let's hope this is now a thing of the past.

Why doesn't voice-over work in one portion?
I'm doing my first voiceover and it seems to be fine except for one photo session of clips. For some reason it says I'm recording and all indications are there when finished. But when I playback, it's like the recording didn't work. Other clips in other sessions before and after work fine. Fortunately, it's a small section of clips and I can do without recording, but I would like to know why! You have helped me so much before, and I hope you can again. Thank you.
Not sure why, but sometimes a project will just cease playback of Voiceovers added to it. I've seen this before, but never had it persist into a new project. As with any issues that are specific to a single project, it's usually best to start over, as one problem is quite possibly indicative of further issues down the line with that same project.
As a workaround (if you REALLY want to avoid recreating the project) would be to copy the voiceover files from within the iMovie Project file (browse to your Movies/iMovie Projects/ folder and right-click or CTRL+Click on the name of the project, then click "Show Package Contents") for that project out to your Desktop (or any other accessible location), then drag them back in to add them as a regular audio track. I've used this trick successfully, but it's not 100% (going back to the 'one problem means more later' thing). -

My iMessage has stopped to work was working fine until today then I tried FaceTime and that isn't working to does anyone know why I've not touched the setting on my iPad at all . I have wifi too so can't be that.

Why isn't the iMessage working on my 4S?
My phone recently is not working very well. It keeps on freezing, turning off and randomly restarting by itself. Today morning I tried to message one of my friends and my imessage was not working at all and until now it ceases to work. I dont know what is the problem. I tried to restart my phone and turned off/on my imessage but it still does not work. Does anyone know what the issue is or what I can do to fix it?

Why isn't the receiver working on my iPhone 5?
I've had my iPhone 5 for a year and a half. Everything has been great until yesterday afternoon. I can no longer hear calls through the ear piece. The other end of the call can hear me, but all I get is silence. I can only make actual calls using the speaker. I've read all the threads and tried everything, to no avail. My carrier (Verizon) said it would cost $400 to replace the phone, which is utter BS.
So here are my questions - 1) Has Apple come up with a solution to this problem, since it's obviously one on their end? 2) If I send this to Apple to get repaired (since I'm nowhere near an Apple store), how much would it cost? 3) Would I get a spare in the meantime?
I feel like I'm getting screwed by Apple and Verizon at the same time, and I've completely had it with both companies.
Can anyone help?GOing to an Apple store genius bar is by far the best bet...they do some repairs now in-store for the iPhone 5-series, or if they need to replace and it is out of warranty the fee is $269 for the iPhone 5. Time it takes depends on what needs to be done, but in most cases is while you wait.

I'm not sure why I'm not able to get the pinch & zoom feature to work when viewing articles on iPad Adobe Content Viewer? I've saved my DPS articles as PDF, but it's not working. I'm on a first generation iPad with ioS 4.3.3, with Adobe Content Viewer version 2.9. I've tried saving the article in a variety of versions from v20 to v23, but no luck. I appreciate your help. Still the PDF only can zoom in the vertical version and not in the horizontal version. Also the PDF is with zooming not sharp!
