Why isn't the App Store and iTunes a choice for an app on my mini?
Either they've been moved to another home screen or dropped in a folder, in which case doing a search or resetting the Home Screen layout (Settings/General/Reset) should bring them up, or they've been turned off in General/Restrictions.

my ipad is connected to my wifi but the app store and itunes store never open, the internet never works and it is always loading but never working. I dont understand why as my computer works for my wifi and my brand new ipad should too.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

There was a problem with the stores yesterday which was fixed about 6 hours after you posted this (not sure where you originally posted this question, but it's only just appeared in the Using iPad forum) - it should now be working

My app store and itunes store are stuck in Japanese store. I already moved to the Philippines for about a year ago and my stores still won't change its location.
I already changed the region/country in my apple id. I tried to sign out and sign in back to my account. Tried it in app store, in itunes store, in settings app, in itunes in my laptop, in the apple website. It shows that my apple id is already set to Philippines, no matter where I sign in my account.
The problem is when I open my app store (or itunes store) in my iphone, it appears that it is in the Philippines store; however, when I sign in my account (and I tried to sign in everywhere), I cannot download any app from the Philippine store. When I try to download an app, it always says "Account not in this store. Your account is not valid for use in the Japanese store. You must switch to the Philippines store before purchasing." I have read everywhere and most of the answers say that it should automatically direct me to the correct store. It doesn't happen to me, apparently.
I have the same problem in both my iPhones. Both are iPhone 3GS and in version 5.1.1. I don't want to upgrade to iOS6 so please don't tell me to do so. Thanks!try logging out of of store and then log in again

I got disconnected after the release of the last update! I'm disconnected only from the app store and itunes. Do i have to update to activate my account? What to do, i'm stuck.
Have you restarted your phone?
If so, try a reset. Press and hold the home & sleep/wake buttons until the screen goes blank, ignoring the power off slider if it comes up.
Check for the app again after the phone starts back up.

Well, if they have truly disappeared then something is really messed up. For really messed up stuff, you need to set it to factory default condition, and then afterwards, restore it from your backup.

Please provide the full text of the message and describe at which point in the login progress it is displayed.
In the meantime, make sure you're logging in with the same Apple ID and that the new computer is authorized with that iTunes account. -

Apps you buy from the Mac App store can be used on your computer. You use the same Apple ID as the iTunes Store, but that's the only connection.
Apps you buy from the iTunes App Store are written to run on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch). They won't run on your computer, only on your iDevice. -

On your iPad, you can open iTunes and click on Purchases. Plus, when you purchase something from iTunes, you should get an email with the purchase details to the email you set up as your Apple ID. They sometimes take a day or two and with the volume of things being purchased with the millions of new iPads out there in the last 3 days, that may be a bit longer. I keep every receipt I get for future reference.

Updated to IOS 6 on IPad 2 and it has downloaded the US App Store and ITunes and replaced the UK one so can't use it how do I switch but to the UK store?
