Why isn't the overlay working?

hey everyone - i've got a clip in final cut pro that i wanted to end with a quick light streak overlay. i opened up motion, made a 5 second black 0% opacity sequence, and added the streak. then clicked the layer, and chose the blending mode of "overlay". i saved the sequence, and imported it to final cut. i then placed the motion file in my movie sequence just above the clip i want it to overlay.....problem is that when the motion file plays, the movie goes black and just the motion file plays.....blacking out my clips and just shows the light streaks........is my layer set up wrong in motion or what?

I think that the Spam Detector runs before your custom filters, and custom filters only work on the inbox folder. If Spam Detector moved it from the inbox before the filters were run, then the filter wouldn't delete it.

Why isn't the iMessage working on my phone? Up until 1:45pm today it was fine, but now it isn't working.

Why isn't the iMessage on my iPhone 4s working? Up until about 1:45PM today it was working just fine but now it sends it as a text message. I have tried everything in the setting but it still is not working. Any tips would be great! Thanks!

Why isn't the cloud working

Since last night the cloud is not coming on. Everytime I try to put itunes match on it askes me to sign out then sign in. As soon as I sign out itunes freezes. When I close and reopen iTunes the same thing happens time and time again. Anyone else having this problem.

Same here. Desktop is fine but the icloud, iphone and ipad isn't. Very frustrating.

My phone recently is not working very well. It keeps on freezing, turning off and randomly restarting by itself. Today morning I tried to message one of my friends and my imessage was not working at all and until now it ceases to work. I dont know what is the problem. I tried to restart my phone and turned off/on my imessage but it still does not work. Does anyone know what the issue is or what I can do to fix it?

I've had my ipod touch 2nd gen 8 gb for quite a while now. The internet on the ipod has been working fine until right now. It was also working this morning. I am connected to my home wifi connection and it shows the wifi signal on the top left hand corner too. When I open up safari, it says "Safari could not open the pade because the server stopped responding." To attempt to solve the problem, I restarted my ipod, powered it off and back on, connecting to a different wifi provider but still nothing... Any solutions? :/

- Try powering off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Do other devices successfull connect to the internet?

Why isn't the arpeggiator working when I connect it to the sequencer input?

I've been trying for a few days to understand environment and I've been stuck for quite some time. I followed step by step on how to connect the arpeggiator to the sequencer input and it actually working for a little while but stopped. Whenever I connect the two, the notes aren't arpeggiated at all. I'd really appreciate the help.

im presuming you mean its not sowing in sidebar? have you tried unplugging usb from pc/mac and reinserting?

Why isn't the receiver working on my iPhone 5?

I've had my iPhone 5 for a year and a half. Everything has been great until yesterday afternoon. I can no longer hear calls through the ear piece. The other end of the call can hear me, but all I get is silence. I can only make actual calls using the speaker. I've read all the threads and tried everything, to no avail. My carrier (Verizon) said it would cost $400 to replace the phone, which is utter BS.
So here are my questions - 1) Has Apple come up with a solution to this problem, since it's obviously one on their end? 2) If I send this to Apple to get repaired (since I'm nowhere near an Apple store), how much would it cost? 3) Would I get a spare in the meantime?
I feel like I'm getting screwed by Apple and Verizon at the same time, and I've completely had it with both companies.

GOing to an Apple store genius bar is by far the best bet...they do some repairs now in-store for the iPhone 5-series, or if they need to replace and it is out of warranty the fee is $269 for the iPhone 5. Time it takes depends on what needs to be done, but in most cases is while you wait.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Apple is in the midst of announcing new products and they normally take the Apple Store offline while a keynote is in progress. The Apple Store will be back up when the keynote is over. Try back in about a half an hour or so.

Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
