Why keep download Xcode update after update is done

Y once download the update app store shown installed but when i check again for any update, it show the same thing as xcode never being updated and show to update again. This is not the very first time that this thing happen when downloaded an update but never get install and will ask to download again.
What's wrong?

Or use Firefox. It is still being updated for Snow Leopard.

Where can I download Xcode Update 3.2.3?

I'd like to download this at work as the internet there is fast and free (at home I am on a monthly bandwidth deal). I've hunted and hunted, eventually ended up at a username / password entering loop on the Apple dev site (before I can get to the Xcode download page I have to enter my Apple ID and click Login, but it just takes me back to the main Xcode page which has the link to the download page on it, which takes me to the login page I just came from).
I just want to avoid downloading this 577MB update at home, is there a simple download link to it? I am not in the Apple dev programme and don't see why I should need to be as this is only an update to something that is already on my iMac.

To access the "Mac Dev Center" at http://developer.apple.com/index.html, you must go through the sign in page, which very clearly says that you must be registered as a developer to continue. You do not need to pay for this, although currently the links on the sign in page don't make that obvious. Instead, go to http://developer.apple.com/programs/register/ as Dave Sawyer says & enroll for the free version of the program, which will link your existing Apple ID to that & let you get past the sign in page.
You won't get all the benefits mentioned at http://developer.apple.com/programs/mac/ for the paid versions but it is still worth it to sign up, if only so you can file bug reports, get immediate access to the online "Members Center," an occasional (but usually minor) pre-release software item, & stuff like that. Do be aware that there is an NDA involved as a condition of ADC membership, even for the free version.

Adobe update keeps downloading adobe updater over and over again

..and it won't stop! It looks like the same 2.3mb file that the update program is trying to download. Once the update is started it just keeps trying to download that file until I cancel the update. I am sure I have never gotten an update on my new programs because of this. Any ideas?

This is how in CS3. Most likely it's applicable to all CS versions.
In Photoshop, open any document or a blank new document; go to the menu Help<Updates; select Preferences; uncheck the box that says "Automatically check for Updates." (If you don't open a document first, the update choice is grayed out.)
Not so fast...
You need to also turn off the auto updates in Bridge.
Open Bridge, go to menu<Updates; select Preferences; uncheck the box that says "Automatically check for Updates."

Why keep Level 1 backups after Recover Copy of Database

I implemented the daily recover copy of database
BACKUP INCREMENTAL LEVEL 1 FOR RECOVER OF COPY
strategy.
I have a 30 day retention window and other compressed un-recovered backupsets running weekly
What I'm noticing is the level 1 backups, after they are used to recover forward my level 0 backup remain. How can I ever use them after I've rolled forward my level 0 image copies?
Is there any reason to keep them? Can they be used to recover a datafile from a separate compressed backupset?

These useless level 1 backups are kept due to your wrong way to define a retention policy for more than 1 day for incrementally updated backups.
Statement from documentation:
If you run RECOVER COPY daily without specifying an UNTIL TIME, then a continuously updated image copy cannot satisfy a recovery window of more than a day. The incrementally updated backup feature is an optimization for fast media recovery.

Doublechecking. Are you able to get the update to go through if you use an itunessetup.exe (or itunes84setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website?

STATUS_CODE_ERROR when downloading xcode

Hello,
This morning, I installed vmware on windows 8, then installed Yosemite from some website, turned it on, and everything worked like a charm, but then I got a notification for updating the OS, so I started updating Yosemite while downloading xcode, then I had to restart after updating completed and I forgot that I was downloading xcode.
After updating and restarting, I went back to AppStore to re-download xcode, when I hit install, I window shows up asking me to log in, when I try to log in, I get this error:
STATUS_CODE_ERROR
I restarted, waited, tried again, but all the same.
Am I doing something wrong? or there's something else wrong with the AppStore maybe?

I have just had this problem as well, this morning. (Apple Log-In 11-03-2015)
I have just updated the latest OSX Security Update 2015-002, which updated with a restart. This was successful on my iMac and my wife MacBook.
However there is an iMovie Update Apple Version 10.0.07 which was in the App Update application, on both iMac and MacBook.
On both I received the STATUS_CODE_ERROR.
I have signed into iTunes, iCloud and also double checked by checking my ID status with the Apple ID Management facility. They all work with my Apple ID, so why am i getting this STATUS_CODE_ERROR.
This same STATUS_CODE_ERROR shows up on my wife's MacBook, which also allows her to sign in on iCloud, iTunes and the Apple Management facility without error.
This seems strange to me as these same ID's have to be used for the iMovie update?

found a fix... had this today.
I deleted FirefoxExtensionsSetup within this folder:
HD/Applications/Adobe Contribute CS5.1/SupportFiles/FireFoxExtension
Then Firefox worked.

Why is the App Store unable to download the Xcode update?

After installing Yosemite, I went to the App Store to update several apps. Most were updated without any difficulty. However, when it got to the Xcode update for v6.1, I get the message, "An error occurred during purchase." with buttons to Cancel or Retry. Multiple tries produce the same result. The information block states the price is "Free" as it always has been. Something needs repair.

Why is Adobe not working after I've downloaded the recommended updated version??

Why is Adobe not working (I don't get even a picture!!, let alone audio) after downloading the recommended "updated version?"

When I try to read the news clips...like OMG, or any of the "gossip" that involves a short video clip, a screen pops up saying that there's a new version of Adobe, which I should update to. So I updated it...by the usual clicking where it says to click and I can see the new version being added. But, after it's finished updating, I don't get even a picture...or sound...of the usual OMB lady speaking, nor do I get the video clips of any of the "gosspi" items or trailers, or anything else.
There's just a big, blank space where the video would normally be showing.
I could see the updates taking place on a separate screen that pops up, too. It took a minute or so to finish. I've done it at least 5 times, but I still get just a blank space in place of the picture and sound that used to pop up! (The video clip of the father who jumped out of a moving car to pick up his daughter, who fell out of the car onto the road, for instance, does not appear...just a blank space!)
I hope this clarifies my problem.
