WHY LOCK SYMBOL ON VI ICON

hi,
i would like to know why my project files (*.lvprj and *.vi ) is displaying a lock symbols on it icons?

Where do you see the lock symbol? On windows explorer or LabVIEW project explorer? If it is in Windows explorer check whether the folder where the VI resides is shared. This generally happens lets say your PC has 2 different user access and from one user you are sharing the Folder/file, so for the other user it will appear to be locked which actually shared by the other user on the same PC. Or in other case it may be a read only folder/file.
The best solution is the one you find it by yourself

Double-click the Home button and swipe Task Bar to the right. Check the Rotation Lock on the far left of Task Bar.

i have a lock symbol icon with a circle around that has popped up next to my battery on my main screen what does this mean and how do i get rid of it?

Shows that the iPhone screen is locked in portrait orientation. This means that when the phone is turned onto it's side, the screen will no switch to landscape orientation.
To lock/unlock the screen in portrait orientation:
Double-click the Home button, flick the bottom of thescreen from left to right, then tap the icon with the lock and arrow around it.

The side switch is the key. Depending on your settings, it may affect the mute or it may affect the rotation lock. This support article from Apple provides detail.

In case you're wondering, here is the history. Originally, the mechanical switch affected only the rotation lock and the mute was a software switch elsewhere. In IOS-3, it was changed to be the mute switch and the rotation lock became a software switch. This was done to ensure consistency among IOS devices. Unfortunately, a large quantity of users complained loudly, alleging that they turned the rotation lock on and off several times every hour and the convenience of the mechanical switch is essential. In IOS-4, Apple bowed to the whiners and made the switch function selectable and now we're stuck with a mess.

I have about 30 songs on my ipod nano and 377.4 mb free space. And right next to that is a lock symbol. Also the page is faded. I can't add or play songs. When i disconnect everythings fine. Please help.

ITunes has lock symbol; iPod will not update songs from library

My iTunes has a lock symbol next to remaining space area. Also, the remaining space says that there is 1.4GB of spaced used up even though there are no songs in the iPod folder or on the iPod itself. I have tried resetting the ipod and tried to copy and paste the songs over to the ipod folder with no luck. It says "updating files" for a split second but stops and nothing is actually moved over.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You have the iPod set to transfer songs automatically. That is why the padlock icon appears at the bottom of iTunes next to the space used/available.
If you want the songs to be bold and selectable/editable, then you need to change to manage the content manually.
You could restore the iPod to be sure the hard drive is completely erased.

Would there be any particular reason why my iPad will not join my wireless internet at home but my iPhone and Macbook are joined? I thought that sign was hindering the connect but that is completely unrelated.

Okay so I had a fan error I took the laptop apart to clean the fan it worked "I think"A lock now appeared in the top left corner With another symbol next to it which looks like a computer but its so small I can't tell so is there anyway to get around this otherwise if there isn't my job is at stake and with this economy I think I just might jump off a bridge after talking with my psychiatrist of course I changed my mine... I would be so happy to know i won't have to spend money on this machine cuz i am in the negetives here just barely living... help me or im outta the picture for good as to be honest this laptop is my life and it has everything i need on it to succeed in the near future along with many expensive programs that could make or break me. jeez im hopeless right now this is it i've googled to the point i was gonna pick up this desktop at this library and smash it and walk out like nothing even happened.

Remove keyboard
block fan-propeller with a match or toothpick
blow compressed air through the fan ribs from outside into the notebook.
finally clean the fan gently with a vacuum cleaner while the fan still is blocked with the match/toothpick
If the fan error still comes up, you'll need a new fan/heat sink.

How do you change the address bar into showing the key symbol, when it only shows the lock symbol?

I want to save my user data to my google mail account.
The first time I typed them in, the password dialogue box appeard, but I clicked on something else so it disappeard and since then never showed again on the google mail paige. (It works perfectly normal on other paiges)
The mozilla support site said to click on the key symbol in the adress bar, but there is no key symbol only a lock symbol. On other websites both are shown but not on the google mail website.
What do I do to open the password dialogue box again? Is there another way than to click on the key symbol?
I use mozilla firefox 20.0 on windows 7.

When you go to a website and enter a username and password that haven't been saved, Firefox will ask if you want them remembered. This question appears in an arrow panel connected to the key icon on the address bar.
If you click on other things, or switch tabs, then the question will disappear. But as long as you remain on the same web page, the key icon will remain visible so you can bring it up again manually.

Lock symbol is rotation lock : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. What is this lock with a circle icon next to battery on OS 4.0?

I have been having this battery drain issue since moving to OS 4.0. Just wondering if this lock with a circle icon has anything to do with it. My location services is off and has not been on for past 24 hours. There was some reference to a location icon on some web articles but my GPS is off. Ideas?

That is the orientation lock for the screen. Double tap the home button, this opens the multi task screen. Now slide from left to right, you will see ipod controls and a symbol to the left of the controls. That locks and unlocks the screen.

See camera "lock" symbol in LR?

On my Nikon D700 I can "lock" an image to keep it from being deleted. It's also a nice way to mark an image as a favorite. In Bridge the lock symbol shows up as i'm browsing images. Is it possible to see it in Lightroom? I haven't figured out how and am hoping I am just missing something. If not is there any other way to mark an image within the camera and then find the image again when they are in Lightroom? Thanks!

I am not a Nikon owner so cannot answer as to whether there is another way to mark an image in camera. If the lock icon is showing in Bridge and this is a common thing for you to do you may want to use Bridge to give a star rating to any of the images that have been tagged in camera before importing them into Lightroom. That star rating will be visible in Lightroom.

From main screen of iPhone, the one with icons present. Press Home button two times quickly, then a new bottom row of icons will show, slide them to the right. The Lock Icon will appear on the bottom left. Tap it change the setting.
