I have the exact same problem. Thought I was losing my mind! This problem has existed since 7.1b1. Oddly enough, my cousin has the exact same phone and his vibrates as normal while the dialogue box is open, Mine is so faint I barely notice it. It used to be "buzz! buzz!", now it's more like "buh"

I performed an iOS 7 software update on my iPhone yesterday, and now the phone is not working at all. The iPhone screen shows to connect to iTunes to restore. I've have done this, and still the iPhone is not working. What going on?
I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -
goodnight. as you know apple has evolved considerably until today but there are people who do not have ability to buy new products. in my case I would like to know why the apple do not let the iphone 3g update to iOS 4.3 as are several applications that can not put on my iphone 3g due to this reason. Why does not Apple make a repository with applications for ios 4.2.1? or else do not work in an update to ios 4.3 on iphone 3g?
This has nothing to do with Apple, as Apple does not make the apps.
This is the decision of the app maker.
Contact those app makers and ask them why they do this. -

First try Resetting it: hold down the home and sleep buttons, ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.
If that does not work Restore your iPhone in iTunes. -

Why is the home screen (ios 7 on iPhone 5 shown) laid out the way it is? Given Apple's attention to detail, there has to be a reason.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. What part of how it is set up seems to be the problem, the arrangement of the icons, colors, etc.? You do know that you can arrange the screen in any way that you want, moving icons around, moving them to other pages, etc.

After I upgraded my iPhone4 to iOS 5.0.1, the iPhone screen was locked and it has shown a picture which requested me to connect my iPhone to iTunes. My iPhone can do nothing now.
I've tried to deleted my iTunes and downloaded the latest version. However, when I plugged in my iPhone4, the plug-in sound is different from before and it cannot be detected by iTunes.
Please kindly help.So whenever you plug the iPhone into the USB port your computer doesn't recognize it???? At all?? Can you check on the hardware of your pc if by any chance is the USB being detected; like it will appear and then diss connect from the pc, just to check and make sure that something is changing, of nothing occurs I will doubt on the cable, you can get one and then return it if it's not the case.
If it is detected then did you backup the iPhone? If so you may need to rollback the change.

Why is the iPhone 5C £319 from apple and £399 from the likes of Carphone Warehouse or Virgin Mobile??
What am I missing?
Having been with Virgin for a very long time and using basic phones I need something that's going to let me do what I need on the go without lagging and crashing so I'm going for an iPhone...possibly the 5C.
Do you think Virgin would supply me with a sim to go in the iPhone if I bought it from Apple??

If Apple has decided to sell the 5C at £319 ( as shown on UK store) it will be NOT carrier locked and will work with any of the UK Apple Approved carriers ,including Virgin
(forget CPW their units will lock to the first carrier sim used )
I imagine if you have a contract Virgin will provide the correct sim provisioned for your number ,but ask them first -

I have even turned off LTE. Cut off my cellular data off of apps. Still uses data I switched back to my iPhone 4 cause I had used my
Data in 2 weeks!I have the same problem on my 4S 64G: I updated to 7.1.1 and burned through my cellular data allowance without running anything that ought to be using it. I incurred an overage charge on Thursday, my new billing cycle started on Friday, and I immediately had used 3/4 of my allowance for the new cycle. I typically do not use my allowance in an entire month so burning through it in a day or two twice in one week is very much not right.
Possibly unrelated or not: last night I was out, did NOT use any apps that should use cellular data, and came home and my phone refused to connect to my home wifi despite turning this and that on and off. I burned cellular allowance while wifi was available.
It seems like someting on my phone, whether an app or the iOS itself, is using cellular data even while my phone is not in use. All I could do is turn off Cellular Data in Settings but that very much diminishes the usefulness of a phone that has served me well -- without data overages! -- for several years.
Please fix this, Apple! -

Why is the iPhone 4s 199$ but in the UK £499? They say nothing about contracts involved and in the news paper "I" it states that the iPhone 4s can be sold for as little as £99. How do you justify this? this was stated in the news paper dated weds 6th Oct on page 9.
The $199 iPhone in the US is subsidized by the cell carrier, is locked to that carrier, and requires a two-year contract. The £499 price is without any carrier subsidy or carrier lock, allowing you to use the iPhone with any carrier, including with a pay-as-you-go plan. Some UK carriers offer similar discounts when you purchase the iPhone from the carrier with an appropriate contract.

how to lock the tauch screen with some password or dots like android to prevent misuse. And also screen lock to prevent interruption while watching movie reading books etc.
You can set a passcode to be requied to unlock the iPad via Settings > General > Passcode Lock. In terms of locking the actual screen whilst using an app, then that isn't currently possible, but with iOS 6 in the Autumn there will be a new 'accessibility' feature (from here) which will allow you :

WHY are the iphone displays so different in color????
Ok- I have to ask why??? No one at apple can tell me why....
I have seen many ip4's and they all seem to have different levels of brightness and color hue's (kalvin temps) WHY? Due to problems with my phone I have had to return the phone three times 4 times now.Not being picky but each phone I have had has had its own issues...First one had the yellowish dots, messed up sensor and sorry battery and everything else...The screen color temp throughout was yellowish.The second ip4 i got was more cool in color temp more of a bluish white but the battery was horrible, Went back today to return and the phone they gave me was very yellowish so I told them no way am I leaving with this phone so they opened a new one and this one is not as yellow and not as bluish maybe somewhere in-between. also I am not sure if its as bright as the one I took in today. I do know that compared to the floor models it was not the brightest but also not the dimmest....I understand that they can not keep bringing out phones and activating them to see the color and brightness but I would think that there would be better quality control on these phones. It just does not make sense as to why so many phones are all so very different in the brightness and color temp of the screen.
My main concern was battery life so, I do think I finally got a phone that has a much better battery. It has only drained 7% in 8 hours.
So any ways this thread is not about battery but it is about the brightness and color of the iphone screens..Does anyone know WHY?????????

and please understand that I am trying to understand...not trying to be a picky jerk but I do not like yellowish dim screens. After having an 27"imac LED that I can only keep at 50% because it is so bright and white that looking at a yellow screen is just not my cup of tea.........I've seen no difference among the three we have in our family, except those attributable to different brightness settings -- and whether the auto brightness function is enabled or not.
