Why map sensors unable to detect sensor under Measurement category in SolidWorks (SWs)

In Labview Project Explorer, when I want to add 'map sensors' to the Solidworks model, it only detect the sensor under the 'Dimension' type shown on the FeatureManager Design Tree' on the left side.
While sensor under type 'Measurement' cannot be detect. Can anybody kindly explain why Labview cannot detect sensor under 'Measurement' type? Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to map sensors the Measurement sensor. But it could not detect Measurement sensor. It can only detect Dimension sensor.
I can't use the Dimension sensor because it requires measurement on a plarnar surface, while my model is curved. So I need to use Measurement sensor, point to point measurement to detect the length between the two components.
It mention in Labview 2014 softmotion help that both Dimension and Measurement sensor are applicable in NI Softmotion.
But why it only detect Dimension? Do I need to insert any extra command for labview to detect Measurement sensor?

  • Why are you unable to create folders under a playlist?

I'd like the ability to have playlists within a playlist. For example. I like to workout and create specific playlists for different workouts. So right now I have to create them one by one and have them listed all in my playlist folder. But what I'd like to do is have the main "Workout" Playlist and have different smaller playlists underneath, just like how the artist/album folders are layed out. Is this possible and if not, where do I post to suggest it?
    Thanks.

    No, it's not possible.

    Hello,
I am using most update Itune under 64 bit Windows 7 , Why the iTune unable to detect my 1st iPOD ? The same system is working with my iPhone 4 ..

    - Have you tried resetting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Did you do anything to the iPod since iTunes last saw the iPod?
    - Presume you used the same USB port and cable that works with the iPhone

  • Unable to see "Sensors"(BAM) in BPEL Structure Pane

    Hello-
I've created a simple BPEL process and would like to monitor the time consumed by each activity in the BPEL process. Hence I tried to create sensors (variables). But I'm unable to see "Sensors" in the structure pane to create variables? Where do I see these sensors? Do I need Jdev plugins for BAM?
Would you provide steps to monitor the time consumed for each BPEL acitivity in BAM?
    Thanks

    Hello,
guess you are using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3...
Click 'Monitor' button in the panel above the bpel diagram to change to monitor view, then you should see sensors in the structure window.
No extra plugins required for creating sensors.

  • ERROR: Unable to detect fingerprint device

Pavilion dm4 laptop worked fine yesterday. Booted up this morning and the option to sign in with a finger swipe was missing.
PC has ""HP SimplePass Identity Protection" with a "Validity Sensors, Inc" fingerprint scanning device.
Clicking SimplePass icon and then clicking Control Center gives error message: "Unable to detect fingerprint device".
Device Manager for Biometric Devices says that Validity Sensor is "working properly".
Trying to update device driver indicates that the latest driver is already installed.
Tried a "Hard Reset" to see if static electricity buildup was the culprit, but nothing seemed to change.
Ran "Troubleshooter" to detect new hardware or changed hardware, but nothing was detected.
Made sure BIOS was set to Default Configuration.
No programs were installed yesterday, no updates from Windows or HP.
Stumped as what to try next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Marty

    Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the Validity Sensor drivers and the SimplePass software (in both Normal and Safe modes). SimplePass is still unable to detect the Validity Sensor.
I can open and run SimplePass and make a few changes to some general settings, and it seems to work fine. Also, Device Manager is still saying that Validity Sensor is “running properly”.
Had a detailed telephone conversation with Tech Support to make sure that I wasn’t overlooking anything.  We ran through a checklist, but the problem is still there. Tech Support and I think that the problem is a hardware failure of the sensor. Unfortunately, I was informed that I had to do a “lobotomy”, a full System Recovery, before they could authorize returning the PC. Right now the PC works absolutely fine except for the Validity Sensor, and I really can’t be without my PC for a week or longer. So … Tech Support has me scheduled for a callback in January.  Will do the recovery then.  99% sure that the recovery will not fix the problem, but now is definitely the wrong time of the year to be without my dm4t.
In fact, even thought the PC is only 4 months old and under warranty, I’d prefer it if HP could mail me a new sensor, and I’d install it myself, but don’t think HP would approve this option.

    Marty

Hi guys, recently I received a 4 gb sdhc card but when insert the card into the card reader & plug to the usb port, win 7 was unable to detect it. 1st thought was this sdhc card is bad but i when plug it to another win 7 pc it detects

  • Unable to detect router WRT54G

Set up disk tells me it is unable to finish installation. ELA tells me it is unable to detect router. I just exchanged my WRT54G router for a new one because I was unable to access the router's web page. I was told by a computer guy that my router must be dead, so I exchanged it (it was only 4 months old). I also had a very lengthy online chat session to try to fix the problem.
My internet connections are working, though and ELA tells me my network is 'ok' and my wireless network is 'secured.' But under 'Network Settings' it does not recognize the router and I am unable to access and configure my router through the browser.
Below, I've tried to copy and paste the router web page -- it only shows a few details, no words at the tops of the tabs, so I am unable to configure.
Also, I have downloaded new firmware (this router is v.8) with the tftp tool -- it says it is successful. PLEASE HELP! I've spent too much time on this . . .

My suggestion is you start over from scratch.  Redownload the firmware with a wired connection....After you install the firmware. Hit the reset button for thirty seconds and let it reconfigure. Powercycle the modem and router. By this I mean turn everything off. Turn on the modem...wait till it has booted up. Then turn on the router..wait till it has booted up and turn on the pc.  Dont use the install cd or easy link. Once you have booted everything up. See if your computer will detect the router wirelessly.  The ssid is usually "linksys".  Make sure you can make a connection.  Once you make a connection and can access the internet ....then you can connect to the router wired...and enter the web browser.  See if you can get to this point first before we proceed.

    Thank you for advices !

Download the newest drivers for the card and extract them using WinZip, 7-zip, or WinRAR. Then you can manually browse to the driver folder with the .inf file inside and install the driver that way. Done it many times myself and it works well.

  • "Setup was unable to detect a usable Java 2 Runtime Environment"

    HI,
I have installed JDK 1.3.1 on my W2K professional machine. It runs fine. During the installation of Java Web start, the setup dialog box shows "setup was unable to detect a usable Java 2 Runtime Environment" and ask me to install JRE 1.3.0_02. From control panel, I can see JRE 1.3.1 is installed. Does anyone know why this setup program can not detect my existing JRE 1.3.1 from Sun? Please advise.
    Thanks.
    -Fred
    [email protected]

BTW, same thing happened here.... 1.3.1 FCS installed on WinNT prior to installing JWS 1.0.1 and Web Start failed to detect the JRE. I just cancelled the 1.3.0_02 install & Web Start apps worked fine with the 1.3.1 installed...
Somewhere in Web Start's config is a pointer/field to the JRE it uses...
    Good luck,

  • Zen 20gb - Setup is unable to detect a supported device

    Trying to install my Zen 20gb (bigger version of the micro!) onto my work-laptop;
Unfotunately I cannot find the original installation disk, but I have downloaded the latest software from the Creative website. When I try to install CMS_PCAPP_LB_3_30_2.exe, I get a message "Setup is unable to detect a supported device...". Immediately before this, the Zen shows Docked, but then reverts back to the Play screen.
I have searched this forum and tried as many different soultions as I can find, all to no avail. I have installed NomadSync and that connects without problem... but why won't the "official" software?

Yep... already tried that. I've even used the Software AutoUpdate that says I need the:
    Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 3.30.2
Creative MediaSource Plugin for CD Burner 3.0.8
Creative Zen and NOMAD Jukebox plugin 2.00.20 for Creative MediaSource
... so that is detecting the Zen, but when I try to install Media Source Player/Organizer, it can't detect it!

If you're still under warranty, take your machine to your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them check out and repair the port problem. Likely nothing you can do on your own.
