Why more than 1 version of Photoshop?

Why do I have more than 1 version of Photoshop in my Creative Cloud desktop app? Photoshop CC + Photoshop CC (2014), see attached image.
I just found out that those are different version with different settings - bad surprise, I'll have to waste time updating the files created with the version with the wrong settings.
Why is this happening and I do I get to have only 1 Photoshop on my pc, so that I don't make mistakes again?
I already uninstalled and reinstalled through the creative Cloud app: it removed everything and then it reinstalled the 2 different versions.

Do you remember which version of photoshop that was, such as photoshop 2.0 or 2.01 or possibly 2.5?
I guess you don't have that system still in operation?
I believe mac versions of photoshop can open the photoshop 2.0 file format and mac versions of elements before photoshop elements 11 as well.

I think the first question would be, why would you want to do that?
You can do it, but Oracle Support probably will not be able to assist you if there are problems as this likely is not deemed "supported". Also, you will only be able to run one at a time and you will have to handle the system environment variable. So for example, if you wanted to run 11.1.1.6, you would need to update the system PATH and ORACLE_HOME to point to this home first in any list. Personally, it isn't worth the pain. You probably could do it with batch scripts, but still not supported and it will come with a set of issues to.
If you really have some reason to do this, I would recommend using a virtualization solution. For example, Virtual Box (free), Oracle VM, VMware, or any other of the many brands. Each installation could have its own FMw version installed, yet would all be running on the same Win7 machine. Keep in mind you will need to have plenty of RAM in order to do this.

Use more than one Catalog from ECC 6

At the configuration point in ECC 6 Materials Management ... Web Services: ID and Description I can describe more than one catalog URL address , but the user see in transaction ME21N or ME51N only that catalog with the default flag.
Is it possible to use more than one catalog by these SAP standard functionality?

Unfortunatly, it is just posible to use ONE catalogue. At the beginning of development there was kept open the posibilitiy to make posible the use several catalogues in a later state. That`s mainly the reason why more than one can be entered in customizing. But the functionality of using more than one was never developed later on.

Loop step creating more than 1 workitem in PO release wf

Dear Experts,
I am using copy of std workflow ws20000075. I have three release codes (three approvers - L1, L2, L3). So i added a loop step in my workflow that is until bus2012.releaseindicator = 'R' the loop will iterate. Now problem is that for first level i am getting one workitem for his release. In L2 level i am getting 2 workitems for same PO. In L3 level i am getting 3 workitems in inbox for his release.   I have in tcode SWEL. There instead of single RELEASED event for BUS2012 there are 3 entries for a single approver level. This is SWEL output i get for L2 approver level.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I went to the following path Olme(Tcode) -> Goto Purchase order -> release procedure for purchase order -> define release procedure. There for three levels of release codes L1 - creator, L2 - Checker , L3 - approver.
I have given below settings in under each button.
Release Prerequisite : There are six checkbox. three on top right and three on bottom left. All three boxes in bottom left are checked.
Release Statuses: There are four rows with three check box in each row. First row no box is checked. Second row L1 is checked. Third row L1, L2 are checked. Fourth row L1,L2,L3 are checked. In input help for release indicator first three are set as B and last one is set as R.
Classification: When i click this i am getting message as Error in classification (class Z_RFQ class type 032).
Release Simulation: Release Group input is set as PO (PO release) and release strategy input is set as 02 (PO Release strategy),Release ID is set as B.

this one is actually a really rare symptom of a flaky connection to the ipod on a Windows PC. there's more going on in terms of hardware on nanos and 5th gens than in the earlier models ... so if the connection is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree, itunes will see the ipod, but misidentify it as an earlier version of ipod.
tracking down the cause of the flakiness can be tricky ... as you already know ...
just checking. have you tried connecting with a different (known-good) USB cable? does that seem to have any impact on the rate of occurence of the problem?

Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

Why does photoshop cc cost more than creative cloud photography plan?

I see that Photoshop cc costs $10 per month more than the photography plan, even though the plan includes photoshop cc. Are the applications different in the two plans?

The main difference in price between them is because Photoshop CC plan comes with 20GB of online storage space and inclusion Behance ProSite.

Well, at this point (pre 7.5), there isn't an agent, the WSA is joined to the domain, just like a Windows box, it authenticates via that trust relationship. From that point it is all based on how NT/Active Directory domains work. As long as there is a trust between the domains, you can can auth users from as many domains as you like.
There is an agent in the works. The ADAgent will be released with 7.5. The code is already available, it was released with the ASA ver 8.4, and it will be used to pass authentication info to the WSA. At this point, current versions still require trust relationships between all of the domains touched.

Before you configure even a single domain controller machine using the

command, ensure that the AD Agent machine is first joined to a domain (for example, domain

Because of the inherent trust relationship between domain J and each of the domains D[i], there is no need to explicitly configure any trust relationships.
3. Multiple Forests, Multiple Domains—It is possible that domain J might belong to a forest that is different than the forest to which one or more of the domains D[i] corresponding to the domain controller machines belong. In this case, you must explicitly ensure that each of the domains D[i] has an effective trust relationship with domain J, in at least one of the following two ways:
a. A two-way external trust relationship can be established between the two domains, D[i] and J
b. A two-way forest trust relationship can be established between the the forest corresponding to domain D[i] and the forest corresponding to domain J

Can you have more than one version of Premiere Elements on one computer

I have an Apple iMac 2.5GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB Memory running OSX 10.7.5. I currently have Adobe Premiere Elements 9 installed and just purchased Premiere 11. I know they changed a lot on the new version and want to make sure it performs well on this computer and want to keep the older version in case my previous projects don't mesh well with the newer version. Can I have both versions installed on this computer?

Having more than one version of PrE on a computer has never been an issue for many users. Some have had up to four installed, for testing, and for gaining familiarity with newer versions. I do not recall any having any issues, at least not any, that were posted.
While I seldom have more than one version of PrE installed, I often have several versions of Adobe Photoshop, and have never had an issue. Same with Adobe Audition, and PrPro. Most Adobe programs (Acrobat Reader is one exception) will install in totally different folders, and there are seldom confilcts.

Cannot open more than one photo in Photoshop

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I am having an issue with Photoshop CC (2014), I cannot open more than none photo at a time, and keep getting the attached error.
It has been working fine, until i have tried it this evening.

Why is it harder to use Lightroom on three computers than to use Photoshop?

I own three computers: A desktop, a recently acquired laptop, and a still serviceable laptop that I use occasionally.
If I understand things correctly, the license agreement for Photoshop allows me to install it on all three machines, so long as it is activated on no more than two at a time. Moreover, I believe that Adobe recently changed their policy to remove the limits on activations and deactivations, so if I am taking a laptop somewhere, I just have to be sure that Photoshop is activated on it before I go.
The situation with Lightroom is different, because there is no way to deactivate it once it is installed. I asked customer service what I should do if I wanted to use it on three machines, and was offered two options: (1) Buy two copies; or (2) Uninstall and reinstall each time I wanted to switch machines. I haven't tried it, but I do not think that this advice is correct, because I do not think that uninstalling Lightroom actually unregisters it, but maybe I'm wrong about that.
Be that as it may, I'm writing this note to say that some other software vendors solve this problem more congenially than Adobe. Some of them allow their products to be installed on three computers, not just two. Some of them will sell you a third license at half price. Others will give you a third license for the asking if you have a reasonable explanation. Still others will say "Actually, we'll let you install on any number of computers as long as you use it only on one at a time."
Is anyone at Adobe reading this who might be willing to press for a more reasonable policy for Lightroom?

Your catalog, presets, previews remain intact during an uninstall. Don't see why that would happen.
