Why MUST I download attachments on the iPhone ???
I love my iPhone 3GS/32 ... but one thing drives me CRAZY:
The iPhone is the ONLY device on which you can´t disable the automatic download of attachments. I travel a lot ... and pay hundreds of Euros for "data-roaming". It´s a either-or-decision: Either you switch data-roaming OFF, then you don´t receive anything ... or you switch it ON, in which case when a mails is received which contains a 6 MB - attachment, these 6 MB are downloaded with the mail. There´s no option: "receive emails without attachments" ... and than manually download only those you really need. My Nokia Communikator has this option in 1999 !!! It´s just ridiculous !!!
In my experience when receiving an email with an attachment that large when connected to the cellular network, I must select on the attachment in the received message in order to download the attachment - there is a download selection on the attachment. And this occurs with attachments much smaller than 6MB.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

iTunes could not connect to the iPhone “Rasmus's iPhone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. - Why is that?
iTunes is asking you to provide the passcode that was created when the device was activated.
You are able to get around the passcode if you know the apple id login and password and are able to restore the device back to default settings.

I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 with iTunes installed. Now my iPhone 4S is no longer recognized in iTunes. Connecting the iPhone with USB sends me directly to the MS app that downloads pictures from the iPhone. Suggest this is a question of missing Apple driver for Windows 8, iTunes and iPhone. MS does not care! This seems to be a general problem with Windows 8 that a number of drivers that used to work with Windows 7 now do not work, ie. iPhone to iTunes, HTC to HTCSync, Samsung to Kies etc. I need this connection to work in order to syncronize with Outlook and my iTunes library.

My iphone 3gs will no longer let me try passcodes and it only says "Iphone is disabled connect to itunes" well, when I connect it to my laptop, itunes says "could not connect to phone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes" Please help!!! I am trying to use Itunes to move my data from my iphone 4s that was backed up on my Macbook Pro. I keep getting an error code backing up from ITunes to new Iphone 5s:iTunes could not back up the iPhone “Karen’s iPhone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be backed up. On the Iphone it keeps telling me to add another network. I have put our home network on the Iphone. When I put the passcode in the phone does not give me enough time to put my Apple ID password in and it shuts off. Help!

3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

Can't download attachments using the MS CRM 2011 Outlook client

I am trying to Open/Save Attachment (from Notes in Meeting Entity) in MS CRM 2011 for Outlook Client. Once I click on attachement nothing happen.
Both CRM Server (On-Premise) and Outlook client are UR13. Its ADFS deployment.

From log files I can't get any answer:

Attachements are stored directly in CRM DB (in Annotation table).
I have also tried fiddler. And it looks response was OK (200). I think its problem with CRM for outlook client. -

Itunes can only provide what the owners of the distribution rights to the music provide.
If the owner of the rights do not provide it, then itunes cannot sell it.
You would have to ask the owners of the distribution rights in each country why they do not provide them at the same time. -

Forget iPhone password, when connect to computer "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a pass code. You must enter pass code on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
You have to restore it using a computer with iTunes per the knowledge base article above.
With iOS 7, if you have Find My Phone turned on you can login to iCloud from a computer and send an erase signal to the iPhone to clear it...that will erase all content and settings. -
